We arrived late in the evening and had a bit of trouble understanding which code we were supposed to use in order to gain access through the front doors. We rang for help using the intercom available but were still left a little confused. Eventually a French speaking father and son kindly helped us and despite the language barrier, we managed to decipher the code to our room. The room was clean and tidy, toilet was a little on the tight side but the shower was a good size, with excellent water pressure and hot water. The bed was comfortable and we had a nice view from the room. The staff member who served us breakfast was so lovely, really helpful and kind, she had a warm, friendly face first thing in the morning.

This is the third time we have stayed here and the warm welcome from sliva and her team is always very welcomed, sliva has again been so helpful it makes our stay easier and always a welcome with our 3 small dogs. We had an unforeseen over night stop at this hotel in Calais due to our animal health certificate being incorrectly filled in by vets in Florence. So we had to re-administer our dog the correct worming tablet abd had to wait 24 hours before we could re-enter UK. The hotel was very clean, and handy for Le Shuttle. The late check out of 12 o clock was also handy for us. Breakfast was good. Nice sized room. Good value

We really like the location of this hotel while using the channel tunnel. Very good for an overnight stay - it's clean, quiet, safe and with easy access to restaurants nearby. Not always someone on reception but there is a machine inside the door where you can book yourself in and be given a code for your room keypad. Staff are friendly and continental breakfasts are very good.

Breakfast is good. Always clean. We had an issue with the access machine (arriving around midnight) but once we called the help number the staff member arrived within about 2 minutes to sort it out. Very efficient.

Lots of B&B hotels in the courtyard. It was a little confusing to start with.

Once we had got to the right B & B Hotel (there are 4 in Coquelles - 3 on the same site) we were very happy. The 2 * hotel was perfectly comfortable with a charming lady in charge. There was a surprisingly good restaurant in the adjacent sister hotel and breakfast back at the 2* was great.

Our second stay here. Great location near to the tunnel. Comfortable and clean.

Need better sound insulation. Our room was on the ground floor not far from the reception/eating area which meant we were disturbed quite a bit. Next time we will request a room further away.

Location is ideal before going to the tunnel or Europe. Rob m standard now rising from previous.

Self check in, room we got booked into was still being reworked, Staff said it was computer error!! Offered another room which ok, but we think that was on a floor which allows pets in so was not happy.

Handy location right next to the Eurotunnel terminal, lots of restaurants near by, plenty of parking space that is fairly private from view so OK for motorcycles.

Lots of hotels with similar names in the local area, at least one of our party booked the wrong hotel and another initaly went to the wrong hotel out the other side of town.

Good comfy bed, room spacious enough for a single night stay, room facing fields, much less noisy than the ones in the courtyard. Well positioned bathroom facilities.

All good as usual, since this hotel has been always our overnight stay for many years, only criticism, rooms look a bit tired.
