The room was very spacious, and we had a little balcony looking over the old street, which is closed to traffic, but plenty of pedestrians, and we enjoyed eating and drinking at the end of a day on the balcony. Also, so close to everything we wanted to see.

If you wanted to find a fault, and although it didn't worry me, someone might find fault with the stairs from the first level to the second on which we had our room (there was a small life from ground floor to first floor). Maybe a less fit person wouldn't want to carry heavy suitcases up the stairs. But I'm sure the hotel would have assisted if this was the case. To be honest though, these charming older hotels will generally not have elevators.

The staff was very welcoming. The room exceeded my expectations. It was very quiet even though it looked out over the pedestrian walkway. There was a kettle and coffee/ tea. It was very quiet and I heard no noise from other guests or the street. There were additional blankets and pillows. There was just a very small square of soap and if you stayed longer than a day you needed to ask for additional coffee but that was no problem at all. The beds were made up with new sheets every day. The location was superb. Near the old town, The tourist office, museums and subway connections including a direct route out to the airport. The staff were especially kind and spoke perfect English. I recommend room 14.

The location of this hotel was perfect! Central to any part of Lyon you may want to explore. The bathroom was fairly modern, the room not so much but it’s perfect for a short stay as you don’t spend much time in the room. For a solo traveler it was perfect. The staff - in particularly one lady- were lovely. She spoke great English and gave me some great recommendations.

Nothing too bad but you can hear a bit of noise from outside as well as other rooms.

Location. Price. Bijou. V fresh and clean. Comfy beds. Store your bags on final day. Nice receptionist everyday. Contact prior to arriving and info re exact trains / stops etc.

All as expected. Its a small set up, thats wasnt' a surprise.

Cosy little hotel with a decent breakfast convenient for central Lyon and close to Perrache station on a pedestrianised street. Although small, the room was very comfortable with a good bathroom and french windows with a window seat to nose at the world going by.

Slightly scuzzy entrance shared with a rather dodging looking apartment building. Extra security codes to keep undesirables away but the reassurance does make you ask why is it needed - once in, its a little haven.

Lovely location, good, clean and pleasant room. I'd definitely stay here again - I think this is great value for Lyon.

There was nothing that could be done about it, and it occurred in the middle of widespread strikes, but the hot water system was broken for 24 hours - so cold water only for one day.

Very close by Bellecour metro station. Room nicely decorated and clean. Very friendly staff. They allowed me to keep the luggage after check-out. It was more silent than I expected. Room get completely dark with the outside blinds down!

Shower cabin is quite small.

Excellent location very near Perroche gare, on a pedestrian mall. Very pretty room, and pleasant staff.

There's a lot of noise on the road below, with small groups of people passing around large bottles of vodka, singing and talking loudly throughout the night. It helps to close the window but it was too hot. After the first night, the hotel provided us with a fan which improved the situation.

I'm vegan and the hotel were so good at compromising for me! They messaged me 2 weeks in advance to ask of i wanted anything specific, and then provided me with soya milk and soya yoghurt. So they'll definitely cater for different dietary options :)

Everyone got woken up by an alarm at 1am - I think it was just an accident and it only lasted 5 minutes. But I think it was just a one off

The hotel was lovely with an excellent location right on a pedestrian only, shopping street. The staff were kind and very helpful.

The wifi connections seemed to suffer at some points but other than that it was a great stay.
