Staff was courteous and prompt, even with our very late (near-midnight) arrival, with tips for sights to see and places to eat the next day. Rooms are nicely appointed, and the L'Occitane bath products are a nice Provençal touch. The hotel is in a prime location by the old port, with plenty of cafes, boulangeries, patisseries, shops, and sights in easy walking distance.

Our rooms was not huge, and a/c was lacking in power. Be aware your taxi or uber will have to stop a block away from the hotel because the street has restricted access, though hotel staff are able to open access for taxis picking you up.

I asked for and got a very quiet room on the inside of the hotel. No view, and a little gloomy, but my sleep was not disturbed by church bells, traffic or noise from the port. Lovely view of the port from the bar and breakfast room on the first floor. And the breakfast was delicious. Friendly and helpful staff.

No parking. although it seems that no hotels in the centre of Marseille have parking facilities. I eventually found the hotel, but it was not possible to stop anywhere near the hotel (the entrance is actually in a pedestrian street blocked off by bollards). It's best to locate a public car park nearby (the Hotel de Ville, for instance) and drive straight there before going to the hotel.

location of the hotel was excellent and very useful for us. we liked the breakfast. hotel staff kind and helpful overall. you can use metro easily to go around. only thing is to be careful in the city since there are many homeless people.

we enjoyed our stay but only thing that we think bed sheets' fabrics can be better actually. they make you sweat and itchy at night, not very comfortable...

The hotel is beautiful outside of the room I received. It was very close to the port action and the atmosphere inside the hotel is beautiful. The breakfast area/bar was the most beautiful place to catch the sunset over the port. The staff were nice and concierge assistance with booking restaurants reservations etc

The room I received I felt was expensive for the rate I paid. One major issue was the fact that the room was next to a mechanical closet with a constant 24 hour noise that sounded like a motor running/vibrating and made it difficult to sleep. There was a window above my eyeline and I’m 190cm that overlooked someone else’s balcony that provided some natural light but I still felt like I was in a cave. The room was poorly lit. There were a lot of homeless beggars outside of the hotel that made me feel unsafe and there were pick pockets active. Multiple people staying at the hotel that weekend had complained to the front desk about it needing to use their phone to cancel credit cards etc.

The room was comfortable and reasonable in size. The location of the hotel was fab. You are at the hub of the city and walking around was easy. I didn't have a view from the bedroom, but the view of the port from the breakfast room was a really nice way to enjoy in the mornings. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, which I appreciated.

I found the pillows a bit hard to sleep on. I personally like a bit more natural light to come into the bedroom, but otherwise it was fine.

Beautiful historical hotel with unrivalled views across the harbour. The beds were comfy, the rooms were spacious and clean and the breakfast was delicious. The location is very central in the old port and you are surrounded by restaurants and shops. Everything is within walking distance but the metro is around the corner and the metro and bus services are very easy to navigate. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The shower was either too hot or too cold and it was difficult to get a constant warm temperature but in an old building, we understood why.

The location is perfect right at the end of the old harbor. The room was fun with two levels and a balcony where you could sit out and see everything. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was friendly.

For us it was fine, but the two level room wouldn't be appropriate for someone with difficulty with stairs. When we arrived the table on our balcony hadn't been cleaned which wasn't great due to the birds, but on subsequent days it was cleaned and it was a beautiful place to sit when it wasn't too windy.

the hotel's location is excellent for exploring Marseille. Views from the hotel's breakfast room and bar directly to the old harbor - you couldn't wish for more. Excellent breakfast - versatile and fresh, worth every penny, lots of local products and excellent service. We highly recommend you to start the day with the breakfast in the hotel. Rooms are spacious and quite nice allthough bit worn. It was good to sleep in the beds and there were no sounds in the room, even though the location of Hotel is socentral. We will definately choose this hotel for our next visit in Marseille.

Did not have breakfast. neighborhood really nice. Really nice staff which helped us out about our reservation, so important! the difference is that we will always come back if we go to Marseille instead of not. Thanks you very much for your help and support. good and nice services!

the only thing which wasn't perfect is that the street was closed and not possible to enter with car to unload if you have heavy luggage. Nothing else really :)

Room view over Vieux Port. Plenty of seafood restaurants nearby. Good breakfast. If you arrive by car, ask the hotel to lower the bollards to get close to reception especially if you have poor mobility. You will have to leave the car in public parking so don't leave anything in it. We could get my wife's 'Air' mobility scooter to the room. Staff very helpful.
