Small, cozy, like a family, hotel. Very central, next to Gare de l'Est. Friendly staff. Lobby open 24/7.

I do not mind the bathroom being small. But the wc-pot is placed 5 cm from the bathroom wall. No one can sit normally on it. You have to sit somewhat sideways to use the wc. Suggestion (because I'm an bulding engineer with experience on small spaces): Place the pot at a 25 to 30 degree angle from the wall. You'll make your future guests very happy.

it is a bit further from central Paris but totally walkable. The proximity to the train station was welcomed after a long day of travel. There were many amenities but if you’re looking to be in the hub of Paris, this is not if. Close enough if you’re willing to walk.

The hotel is in a convenient location, which is only a short walk from Gare de l'Est Station. I felt completely safe travelling around the area at night, but, as always, one must be mindful of your surroundings. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. Be prepared to leave your room key when leaving the hotel as this is common practice for the hotel. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay at the hotel again.

The hotel is near a junction where two major roads converge. Traffic is continuous throughout the day and night. Guests should be prepared for the emanating road. Over time, you do become accustomed to the noise.

Very basic breakfast and not included in price as expected. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful.

100% Tidy and neat and a welcoming atmospher. Room wonderfull neat and clean with ensuite bathroom. Wonderfull staff. Very polite and friendly. Very customer service orrientated. I had a accident the först day in Paris and broke my arm. They where tremendess helpfull and caring and do their best to give me the most comfortable room possible. And book me a taxi to the airport the morning of my departue.. Thanks alot to each staffmember which make my stay as pleasant as possible. I rekommend this hotel highly. Many thanks !

We really liked the location of this hotel. It’s 2 min walk from Gare de L’est and metro. We got the room with the city view (room 54) and it had a small terace/balcony where we drank coffe and tea (provided by the hotel) every morning. It was really nice, not so loud as we expected and the bed was comfortable. The room has everything we needed for two night stand. Stuff was really nice and kind :). I reccomend this hotel

We heard some noises from the pipes and water running (but not so loud, we could still sleep normally)

Really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Alane. No complaints. The room was nice and always cleaned in the morning. If you can ask for room 51 or any on that floor. They have a nice balcony with table and chairs. The reception staff were nice and always said hello. The location is excellent. Very close to Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est. So easy access from the airport. And the Gare de l'Est metro station is just around the corner. I would happily stay in this hotel again. I also recommend the bar just beside the hotel. The barman, Arjan was very nice.

The sights around the hotel from our room was incredible! The beds are really comfortable and the kicker which surprised us was the balcony! We couldn't get over the fact our room had a balcony!! The staff were very friendly and to have fresh pastries for breakfast, just yummy over all! A unique stay very close to Guard De Nord and many other central public transport lines too! A massive thanks to the staff for a very warm and welcoming stay!

Bathroom was a little tight for people of the larger size but honestly that didn't bother us too much. It done its job and that's all that mattered.

The staff was absolutely wonderful. Always smiling, kind and helpful. (Really, having a smiling receptionist say "bonjour" or "bonsoir" with a genuine smile when we came and went really lighted up our trips. The room was perfectly adept for the type of trip we had planned. A small, organized and clean room with a neat, big bed to fall on after a days of touristing around town.

The doors and walls leading to other rooms could be a bit thicker. We had one night where some other guests seemed to be having late night trouble remembering they were at a hotel with other people and kept slamming their doors at 3am in the morning. If you're looking for space and big rooms, this might not be the place for you (depending on the room you book). It's perfectly fine to spend time and relax, sleep and bathe and what have you. But not much more.

The room was comfortable and clean and located conveniently near Gare Du Nord and Gare D L’Est which made it very easy to access.

With the major road Boulevard Magenta below, the room was incredibly noisy - sirens, car horns and vehicle noise all day and night. We used ear plugs at night which helped. The wifi was fine but having to keep logging in each time it was used was a bit annoying.
