Eden Lodge is less of a hotel and more like a guest house. The room was a great size for Paris and great value, clean and very well appointed and comfortable. There is a communal kitchen downstairs that is equipped with everything, so a family in particular might make great use of that. There's a little supermarche nearby and boulongerie across the street. It is a little oasis in a big city but every asy to get into the center from right outside the door - NO 76 Bus will take you to Bastille and the Marais. There are lots of great restaurants and wine bars along the street a little further down from the hotel on Rue Charonne.

The hotel is little outside the main areas of Paris if you are a first time visitor or unfamiliar with the city. If you are a confident traveller, it is just fine and you can use NO 76 bus. It was very hot when we were there 36 degrees and no air conditioning. They supplied 2 room fans and it worked quite well. A top sheet on the bed instead of a duvet would have been nice. Staff are a little aloof but we managed ok in the end.

The king Size Bed. Impecable sheets and towels. Excellent breakfast . And most importantly very kind and professional treatment from Mati and Nina. We took the bus # 76 to come and go every day from Eden Lodge to the interesting sites of Paris. Unfortunately the frequency was very low and we had to wait a bit too much..but the outstanding attitude of all French people we encountered compensated the transportation issue. We absolutely love France for it’s people food and charm.

I personally don’t love cats inside the house because of the odor they bring in. I would only have them outside.

We had a fabulous host and the office lady was very helpful. The eco credentials and organic breakfast and selection of foodwas great. We were staying for our 40th anniversary and couldn't have hoped for a better stay. Not a criticism of the lodge but it was a very long walk to cental Paris although the location was lovely and we found some excellent vegetarian and vegan restaurants. The metro stations were close and easy to use.

A kettle wirh tea and coffee making facilities in the room would be nice.

After you enter the outside door, you enter a different world. A little garden, guides our way into the lodge, it looks like fairy tail during the night with small lights guiding our way. The place is so cosy and the atmosphere is so zen, that you start to relax as soon as you enter the garden. We were greated by Nina, a sweetheart that called us to make sure everything was alright after we didn't show up at the scheduled time (we lost our 1st flight), just great. In the morning, we were greated by Maty, she treated us with such a good vibe, that filled up our energy supply for the rest of the day. The breakfast was fantastic, she was doing a fruit salad when we walked in, delicious by the way,we had tea, coffee, orange juice, pan au Chocolat, croissant, fruit salad and cake, cannot remember the cake name, but it was warm and tasty. There was several types of cheese and ham. So, don't skip breakfast 😁. Location: I choose this hotel for 2 main reasons, the concept (cozy lodge), and the location, it's not the prettiest on the outside, but it's so near the metro, with a full day ticket you can reach almost any place in Paris in less than 40 minutes and do your full visit. Extra: The bathroom, full japonese toilet and the bathtub, it's gigantic, with great water pressure. Summary: After the full tour of Paris, it's great to came back to this little paradise. Mercy Nina et Maty

To leave it, really, I'm at a crappy hotel near Disney missing my little Eden.

I loved everything about Eden Lodge. The atmosphere in a hidden backyard garden in the middle of 11. Arrondissement. The ecological approach. The wonderfully designed room. The wonderful employees, the ladies were caring and amazing! Loved the communal kitchen, the cats, the silence at night. I stayed for 4 nights and I would have loved to stay a lot longer because Eden Lodge feels like a home away from home.

The hotel is in the closed area, with private garden, quite, not big- just 4 or 5 rooms. Breakfast is enough. We were allowed to use fridge and micro, cutlery, coffee and tees as to prepare some dinner for ourselves. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom of high standard. very close to the metro and public transport stops. on the other note- the hotel is quite far away from the city center, i would not mention this as negative, since if you are without kid- your fine, with the kid it was quite too much. people with the disabilities- there is very easy access to the premises but only for the ground floor, no lift.

Was very difficult to find it. No visible sign for the hotel, booking and google- gives the place near it. However, as soon as i called to the reception we were helped and guided.

It was perfectly placed for the metro Very quiet & peaceful setting, you would never guess you were on a busy Paris street

We thought the towels provided were a little on the thin side & quite small . The shelves in our room were very dusty but otherwise the room was very clean & a very comfortable bed , we slept very well. The bathroom sink is not very practical, especially for my husband when he shaved . The worktop under the sink has split & could do with replacing.

The staff was extremely nice as very helpful. The accommodations were comfortable. The included breakfast was good too. The two resident cats were very friendly.

The neighborhood location was not as nice as we had hoped and the actual accommodations are a bit more worn than presented in the pictures. The shower could use a curtain as opposed to the hanging beads which result in water on the floor. Use of the balcony space was hit or miss based on periodic unpleasant odors.

The staff are excellent here, and even arranged a surprise birthday cake! Our bedroom was large and the whole place felt secure and had a lovely comfortable vibe. Also two friendly cats to play with.

The gardens are not as described and are small and quite overgrown. We missed a kettle in our room and tea/coffee. Breakfast was also served at 8 rather than 7am which wasn't what was listed. The hotel is tricky to find as the sign outside is very small.

A calm haven in Paris away from the street. A fridge in the room with microfiltered water was much appreciated. Fabulous breakfast. Loved the room's balcony overlooking the garden.

The 'shower curtain made of beads' was not effective in keeping water in the bath area. It would be better to have a proper separation. There was water everywhere on the bathroom floor.
