Great staff, really friendly. Great location, so easy to get to transport, so easy to get to all of the tourist sites via the metro or metro and a bus. Lots of little restaurants and shops in the local area and very easy to walk to cafes and restaurants in the nearby suburbs. The rooms are decorated nicely and are very comfortable, although a little small. The restaurant was fantastic, food was delicious and the staff (especially the Italian waitress) are a credit to the business - such a fantastic and friendly team.

Our first room was great, a little on the small side but comfortable and clean and a lovely view onto the busy neighbourhood and local cafes and restaurants. Our 2nd room was a little tighter, and space could have been optimised with better planning of the furniture. It was a tight squeeze to the bathroom. There was a noise from the AC unit, possibly a pump emptying the water, this turned on and off every min or two while the AC is on and is irritating when trying to sleep. There were a few broken hooks in the bathroom and there was dust on the shelves inside the room. Nothing that really bothered us and we throughly enjoyed our stay, but worth noting and fixing.

Great location, had a lovely vibe in the area with local people rather than tourist. Good bus links & metro station close by. The hotel room was a decent size & clean. Glad to have air con in the room which was a bonus as weather was hot. The hotel lift is very tiny-used to go up only & for luggage... otherwise used staircase. This is expected due to the age of the property. Decent hotel & would definitely recommend it.

The coffee machine in our room was very temperamental & kept breaking down. Would be good to have a little more storage space (drawers). Otherwise, no complaints at all.

The bed was comfortable and the location was not noisy for us. The towels were changed regularly as well.

The room was quite small and can’t understand how the aircon works. We switch it on but no air flow so felt stuffy.

The hotel is in an excellent location just a few minutes' walk from the nearest Metro. My room was on the fourth floor, but thankfully there is a lift. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, with a view overlooking the street. The air conditioning was easy to operate and the shower was powerful, although it took a couple of minutes to achieve the temperature I wanted. The reception was manned day and night, and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was available every day in the lobby for an extra charge, and the adjoining restaurant was busy and lively in the evenings. I would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable The room was cosy and warm Our one night stay was good Cleaning staff was friendly and polite. 😊 The manager was friendly and helpful he went out his way to change our room from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor cos my daughter was having problems thank you 😊 for your kind heart 😊 The manager even help the lady who wanted her mobile phone charger up.

The breakfast area with table and chairs was infront of the entrance of the hotel on arrival, on arrival breakfast items was still out waiting for kitchen staff to be cleared up, that was off putting to eat for the next morning for breakfast. with people leaving 🧳 and bags before checking in time at 2pm or checking out before 12 noon In the same space in breakfast area.

Our stay was very satisfactory. Staff was very polite and accommodating. 24/7 reception. Room size was very good for Paris standards with nice view (4th floor), air-condition, WiFi and amenities. Extra bonus the Nespresso machine and free capsule refill in the room. Good bathroom size. Daily cleaning. Decent breakfast, free for my 5 year old child. Location is great, close to nice restaurants and metro. No pressure in check out and free baggage storing.

The room phone was not working so you need to go to reception if you need anything. Elevator is very small but common in historical buildings. Although room was quiet, some guests don't seem to understand that they need to keep their voice down in corridors after midnight. This is not the hotel's fault but bad guest manners, we have experienced this in 5 star hotels as well.

Location was walking distance from the Bastille district. 5mins walk to the Metro station Charonne. -No 9 Line. A few bars, boulangeries and mini-marts close to the hotel Booked a Queen Room which was compact but comfortable

No safety deposit box in the room Although there is a kettle available to use in reception,.from a personal perspective I. would have preferred a kettle in the room instead of the Nespresso machine. The light in the corridor was on all night even though I believe it was a sensory activated light. Unfortunately there was a gap between the bottom of my room door and the floor., so the light was visible even when the room lights were off. I had to place the bed cushions against the door to block out the light. Not a huge deal. but just to note

We chose this hotel because we really needed something good but not too expensive. And I think it was a great idea to choose this hotel! The location is pretty nice. Yeah, it's far from the city center but it's a very nice neighborhood, there are a lot of stores, cafes and restaurants around, so you'll have many options to have breakfast and dinners. We came back at 11 p.m. many times and it felt safe every time. Besides, there are about 3 metro lines not far from the hotel, so it's easy to get anywhere you want. The hotel is small but cute! I really loved the staff, the way the hotel looks. Nothing to complain about for real. Don't expect anything spacious or luxury, it's just a small comfy lovely hotel with some French vibes which I enjoyed a lot. The room was small, but that was obvious. We had a very nice view, I really loved the windows, it all looked exactly how I imagined when I was thinking about Paris. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Air-conditioner was working fine as well. The bathroom was small and getting into the shower wasn't very comfortable, but still, it was clean and the shower worked well, so it's still fine. This is a very good option for a budget hotel. If it costs more, I would say it's not good enough but for this price it's very good.

1. The elevator was super small! So it can be only you and your suitcase or you and another person, nothing more. Keep that in mind. But of course, it's not a huge issue, as if you're a group of 4 people it just means you'll need to use elevator twice. 2. I really wanted to see a kettle in the room... We had a coffee machine which is very cool but I don't drink coffee... So of course, having a kettle would be life-changing. 3. As I already wrote the room was small but considering the price it was fine (harder to deal with the small bathroom though).

Really happy with the hotel, the room was small but that was expected - and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were a good size. It's in a great location with plenty of cafes, bars, shops around and also close to a number of metro stations so you can get around really easy all over Paris. The staff were also really friendly and helpful.

The only thing was the room was a little noisy from both the street and also the noise of water from above. So if you are a light sleeper this might be an issue.

The location was very good as the hotel is Charonne Station Line 9 is just a 4 minute walk. Line 1 was also close just a 7 minute walk. The beds are VERY comfortable and room was OK not big not small. There is an elevator that is a bit scary as it is very small just for 3 people that will be a challenge for claustrophobic people. The stairs are circular and are also quite challenging to go with luggage farther than the second floor. So if you have a lot of luggage ask for a lower level floor. Other than the elevator or stairs this hotel is superb. Staff is also extremely helpful and nice. We try the breakfast and it is really good also.

Small elevator and stairs
