The staff was very nice, our airplane was delayed, but they have waited us. The metro station was very close, so we could reach many sights quickly. The neighborhood is good, there are shops, bakeries, restaurants. We got cleaning every day, they made the bed, took the trash out and put new soap and shower gel if we run out of them.

We have missed a fridge (they did not offer but it would very useful). The bathroom is small - although we counted on it because of the the comments. It is really true: you can take a shower, wash your teeth and use the toilet at the same time :D And it is a little bit noisy, we could not sleep with open window. All in all this is a really good accommodation for sleep and starts from here the trips.

The owners were friendly and always around when we left in the morning and returned in the evening, so the hotel felt secure and welcoming. The room itself was a reasonable size and the bed was unexpectedly large. The location is not central or particularly close to tourist areas but had a nice vibe with lots of good restaurants around, and we were still able to cover most of Paris via walking across two days- there is a metro station very close by if you are planning on using public transport.

The room was quite hot overnight despite not being summer while we were there, and did not feature any kind of fan. There was also a fair bit of ambient noise including from the nearby metro, but I suspect that is unavoidable to a certain extent while in Paris.

The room responded to the promises made in the advertisement. The room is tiny but has all the essential pieces and facilities. It is super well connected and thanks to its strategic location it was possible to move on foot and visit the city by walking. The staff at the reception have been extremely nice and available. It was a perfect stay for a weekend's trip. I recommend this place to anyone looking for something central!

Unfortunately, the bathroom is very tiny so when you take a shower you basically wet the rest of the bathroom. Nevertheless, I was aware of this condition so I was not surprised when I found this space's organization. Therefore, if you stay for a short time, it is not a big deal

We were beyond pleased by the value for money staying here and the warm greeting we received by the owner who is more than accommodating! We knew the place would be small and simple for the price in Paris but it was so close to the metro, clean and comfy, great shower and a big window that allowed the room to cool down - perfect for our needs. Would recommend for a simple, comfy stay for someone travelling on a budget.

It was loud which is to be expected in that area and the window did open onto the bed space - however cooled the room down well in summer well so we didn’t mind. Also quite a few stairs but overall we were happy.

Hotel Anya is perfect for a short stay in the city. It is an absolutely charming little hotel, with all the basic amenities you need in the room. The location is great, just three minutes from Voltaire metro station, and the neighborhood is diverse, lively, full of bars and restaurants, and much fun to explore. You can walk on foot to Centre Pompidou in 30 minutes. The street of the hotel is tiny and quiet, (though sound within the hotel travels easily in the back yard and along the corridors), and I felt perfectly safe walking around the neighborhood alone at night. The hotel owners are very, very helpful and friendly. I’m very happy I found it! And you can go from the reception desk to the platforms of Paris-Est in 18 minutes by metro.

Can be loud at night when hotel guests return.

The host Nedjma was the sweetest. She made the entire stay better. It is a traditional Paris hotel, very old school and a real Parisian experience. The location is excellent too, with lots of good cafes, metro stations, etc within walking distance. The rooms were small but good otherwise.

I wish there was a lift, but this is Paris, and well, it's an experience I guess. Also, the room's lack of basic amenities such as coffee/tea was a little disappointing. But a boulangerie(bakery) right around the corner kind of makes up for it where you get a croissant and a cafe for as cheap as 2 euros.

The staff was friendly. I was able to enter my room about 11 a.m. It looked out on a small, interesting countyard and was free of street noise. The heating was adequate. There was a small table for my laptop.

The shower stall and the bathroom are one and the same. So you have to remove anything that shouldn't get wet, including the toilet paper, towels and the trash basket, before taking a shower. But the arrangement works fine once you're used to it.

The location is awesome, very convenient. The hotel is clean and the housekeepers came every day to ensure the beds were made, towels changed every 3 days (on longer stays) and I felt safe. Comfortable bed as well. Rooms are basic inside the room in terms of furnishings, but it has everything you need for stays. The staff are wonderful especially Mustafa & Ndejma - who were a delight and made me feel very welcome!

The room was ok: clean, having all facilities (bath towels, gels and soap, TV, desk, wardrobe and a comfy bed). The location very nice, close to metro station Voltaire and to some shops and cafés that remain open at night. The staff was really kind. They offered me coffee. I will come back for sure :)

Isolation not really good, it's common in Paris because it's old buildings. So, you can hear your neighbor coughing. But, it was ok for me.

Lovely little hotel central in the 11e arrondissement. Small room and no AC; however these characteristics were in the description and as expected. The staff was friendly and the gentleman at the front counter went out of his way to assist me! Perfect hotel to use as a home base for running around Paris!

Everything was as expected or better.
