Despite some bad reviews, I decided to give it a try and I must confess that I was surprised. Everything worked out perfectly. Check-in was easy and the room was clean/organized. The shared bathroom was also clean. Really do not have any complaints and think it is a great offer considering the price/service. P.S. It is worth mentioning that I rented a private room. Don't know how the shared bedrooms are like.

Not much to say. Think it'd be good to have a mirror in the bedroom as well (in instead of only the shared bathroom). Also, I noticed there was no A.C. When I was there, the temperature was comfortable. Don't know how it is during summer time...

The location is perfect. You only need 1 train to travel between the airport and Paris. There is a great choice of great places to eat. The cleaning of the hostel was a variant that keep me relaxed. It’s a very old building. It has gone through many improvements and renovations. You need to have attention to the stairs and also have no physical limitations to get to the upper floors.

I stayed in a room with a private bathroom. There is a water heating system that limits the use of hot water. So it is not working for 2 people to use the shower for sequential baths time. It has always taken a wait of more than 40 minutes between one bath and another for the hot water box to be ready for a new round of bathing. The internet is terrible. You simply can’t happen anything on her. In the room the 5G signal was almost non-existent.

It was extremely well located and the staff were very kind. The cost of the accomodation was incredible for where you’re located and how close it is to facilities such as the metro and dining. They also have a cat living at the property that was a highlight for us. He was such a little cherub and we felt like the vibe of the place was improved by his presence. Highly recommend!

The bathroom whilst clean had a damp smell. It was a shared bathroom so we didn’t expect much and it was fine for the price you pay for the property. The damp smell wasn’t in the room so we weren’t majorly affected until we wanted to use the bathroom but it mostly felt like a ventilation issue.

The location is very nice, almost near all the tourist attractions (only a 10-minute walk to the Musee de Louvre). The neighbourhood is very hustle and bustle, and you won't be afraid to go home after 9. With this price and area, I would say it's a good stay. The cat is super cute and friendly~

The wifi wasn't working at all during my stay, even a 240p YouTube video. And about the toilet, you have to accept a shared toilet. You also have to get used to not throwing any issues to the flush. Fortunately, I don't smell anything next to my room. It's acceptable but of coz not the best case.

The location is simply too good to pass up. You are right in the center of the city and getting around by walk is absolutely an option for many of the city's attractions. Also there is a metro station right there with good connections. Even though we didn't have the breakfast they offered, they still gave out free snacks which helped fuel our trip. Although the room was a little dusty, the shared bathroom was always immaculate.

The walls of the room were a horrid chartreuse, but it made the whole situation of being in a 6m2 space much funnier (I'm kidding it's really quite fine). The floor in the room was a little dirty but it's all just part of the experience.

Front door with password instead of reception which makes me feel deep freedom and sense of peace. Vibrant, dynamic and young neighborhood.

In general, nothing to complain. Sound proof could improve if possible. Neighbor can hear what I was doing in room.

Great location, good price, nice staff. There is a shared kitchen where you can warm up food and eat. A charming cat lives in the kitchen, which will not leave anyone indifferent)

The price is very inexpensive, so it's hard to write what I didn't like. We had a sink in the room) It surprised me. Shared shower. This is not a problem if you want to spend the night and walk all day. If you want comfort in the area, be prepared to pay a lot more.

The location couldn't have been any better! And the staff, especially the main bar man that showed us to our rooms, he took extra special care of us, providing us tourist information, a great conversationalist and very friendly and approachable. The rooms are clean and tidy, can't expect much else! The only trouble was that we were positioned right next door to the shared toilets so the noise of the toilet door being opened and shut throughout the night caused us to have broken sleep. But can't complain when the price is low and the bar drinks are delicious 😋

Owner was onsite and accessible always; he owned the bar under the rooms. Room was as advertised, a good value. Walkable to all the major attractions. If you are a guy, looking for a bed at a reasonable prices and not fussy, this is the place for you.

I strongly recommend Hostel du Globe! Stuff is very nice and helpful, and the place is in a very good location, just few subway stops to the centre. I am very surprised that rooms are for 2 people - I used to be in hostels with multiple beds so that was a very nice surprised - we had a private room just for ourselves and keep there our private stuff. There is a place to sit and eat a breakfast or drink coffee, also hostel provides free coffee, tea, bread, croissaints some jam and cream. There are free hair dryers, microwaves and kettles. Also there is a space to eat and drink, wifi is free. That was a great visit and I highly recommend this place for all of you :)
