The room was wonderfully calm (i was on an upper floor) and you barely hear anything from the street or the hotel itself. The bed was comfortable and the room clean with a quiet and well functioning A/C. The staff was very pleasant and friendly and there are metro stations very close to the hotel.

The check in experience was poor. I was left waiting in the lobby beyond check in time of 3 PM while 2 staff members were having a heated conversation. When i got to the room, staff was still cleaning it. So I had to go down again and when i finally was assigned another room it was already around 3.20 PM. The hotel encourages you to check in online before arriving so that you "only have to pick up your key upon arrival". Yet, i still had to go through a full check in procedure on arrival.

The location is great, close to many metro stops. It’s surprising quiet, especially for being an older building. We didn’t hear any other guests or even street sounds, and we happened to be staying during riot protests. The bed is comfortable and the room tidy. It is small, but that is to be expected and would be something someone would encounter at any stay in Paris.

The elevator was down during our stay. Not a big deal, but it was difficult to lug our luggage up 5-flights of stairs after a long day of travel. But, as an older building, things like this can happen and the staff was considerably apologetic for the inconvenience.

I am extremely satisfied with my stay experience. The hotel front desk provided a thorough explanation, and when I discovered that the room was missing a hairdryer, they understood the importance of my need to prepare for an interview. They immediately checked and supplied one while I was briefly out. On the next day when I was leaving, they bid me farewell and good luck. After my interview, I returned and wanted to change out of my interview clothes, back into my relaxed attire, so I could head out in a more leisurely manner. Even though I had already checked out and was only storing my luggage, they still arranged a bathroom for me to freshen up and change. This exceeded my expectations, and I am sincerely grateful. The hotel itself is very comfortable and clean. The small balcony overlooks a beautiful street view, providing me with a wonderful moment during my time in Paris. Moreover, the location is incredibly convenient and the environment feels safe.

Had a very nice dinner one evening, no breakfast,, food we did have was lovely. Our room was good sized although without the giant statue of the woman in the corner we'd have been a little more comfortable, size-wise. Staff was helpful. I accidentally left a book there and a purple leather writing book but that was my fault not the hotel's. I stuck them on a shelf with lots of other books so I failed to pick them up when we checked out.

Not the hotel's fault but the trash strike took away from things just a bit. Coffee pot in the room would have been wonderful.

The hotel was walking distance from a street of restaurants which were excellent. the staff were friendly and let me use a hotel adapter to charge my phone when I forgot my own. All information sent before the stay was clear and directions to the hotel were good. soundproofing was excellent.

The lift was small and on the second and third days of our stay smelled like vomit, which was awful as we were on floor 6 so using the stairs instead was difficult. I found it strange that such a new hotel did not have the option for usb charging. Also the safe was by the door and the open safe door was sticking out by the door entrance which I found hazardous. The tv only had 5 English speaking channels which were all the news.

The location is absolutely amazing. Centrally located, it is just a short walk to many restaurants and tourist sites. We also had a lovely view from the balcony of our room overlooking the square which was a lovely buzz to wake up to.

The communication with the desk person as we were waiting for a car (that was supposedly booked by them) was not good. The night before we communicated with someone at the desk to book a car for the morning and all was great, unfortunately when morning came around the new desk person had no idea and then tried to book us a car and nothing came. We had to rush to get to the metro to get to the train station in time where we could have easily left earlier if they would have told us it was unlikely for one to arrive. I realise they do not run the car service but if it was just communicated to us then we would have been fine to find other arrangements.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. Also, the location was great; central and accessible.

The room decoration, particularly the cars and superhero decors. They look creepy. I was like a decoration for a kid's room. Also, taking one's luggage up to the 3rd floor was a struggle because there is no lift in the building we were staying in. Having a lift will help.

We got family (triple) room. It was really good size. Both the room and the bathroom were really well designed. Loved the very soothing wall paper and the room smelled amazing - we want to know what the hotel is using so we can buy for our home. The location is walking distance to Rue Montorgueil, the most happening street, with wonderful bars and restaurant. Anything you want - bakery, bars, restaurant, grocery - all walking distance from the hotel.

There was nothing to dislike about this place. It was PERFECT.

We made a last minute booking arriving very late that evening, the room was not with twin beds as booked. The staff were very helpful and managed to resolve our booking issue quickly. We were transferred to the new hotel across the road which was newly renovated. We had a room at the top of the hotel with the right bed configuration - it was still 'bijou' but really quiet with a small balcony and view. I particularly liked the interior design - super cool and chic. We had a lovely waitress who looked after us for breakfast each morning, the hotel MD Harris was charming and very quick to resolve our booking issue and the lady on the front desk was also charming and helpful. My son particularly loved the greek yoghurt with home made crunchy granola for breakfast. We also had Pizza one night at Baretto - their other restaurant on the opposite corner which was delicious This quiet little square is a cool, relaxed, respite from the surrounding hubbub of Rue Saint Denis and a perfect springboard to explore so many of Paris's great tourist attractions. We will definitely come back.

We were booked into the wrong room initially and due to a late arrival we were not able to change. The following morning we arrived for breakfast but were told it was no longer available although arrived within the allocated time. I complained and we were served pretty quickly. My son ordered scrambled eggs on toast which had a hair in it. This was changed but without an apology from the male waiter. These two things compounded did not make for a great start but thereafter everything else was faultless.

Great location, room was very clean, held our luggage before check in.

The tv in our room did not work during our entire stay. We notified 2 different staff members on 2 separate days and were told it just didn’t work. No technician or anything. Seemed kind of ridiculous to not even try to fix it. Why have one in there if “it just doesn’t work”
