In Paris one typically either needs to pay a bucketload of money to get a nice hotel room, or else runs into all sorts of compromises. 123 Sebastopol was a fully unexpected surprise therefore - great value for money, super nice hotel with movie theatre, film and actors as its theme. Nice and spacious room, impeccable cleanliness, the free drinks in room and in the lounge are great value-adds and the staff is super attentive and helpful. Great location, 1 minute to the metro that connects to central Paris and Charles de Gaulle airport in 45 minutes. This hotel will now become my go to place in Paris.

The hotel is very close to metro’s. It is beautifully decorated. my room was quite spacious and had a coffee machine and bar fridge with complementary drinks. I requested an electric kettle and they provided 1. the breakfast was excellent. Large variety of options to choose from. Scrambled eggs, cheeses, cooked veggies, salads, salmon, quiches, fresh fruits, pastries, juices and pancakes and waffles on weekends! Loved the breakfast! Free pastries and drinks available after 2pm every day. A cinema to watch movies in. The staff were amazing and allowed us an early check-in and later check-out! Very highly recommended hotel! A short walk to lots of restaurants, crepe stands and a very Vibey area

The staff is very hospitable. Beautiful hotel. The "film" theme is a nice touch. The breakfast was incredible, and the "tea time" they have in the evenings was so above and beyond our expectations, with freshly made, delicious French pastries available all afternoon. They even let us enjoy it after we checked out! We will for sure stay here again next time we're in Paris.

The room isn't very big, but to be expected in Paris. The elevator is painfully slow--we were on the third floor, even so we usually opted for the stairs. It would sure be amazing if they could change it out, strange having such an outdated elevator in a new hotel. The minibar in the room only had one of each drink, which I found strange being a couple. I'm sure if we'd asked for more, they would've provided it, though, and the tea time more than made up for this.

The hotel is film-themed but in a cool and quirky way rather than it being tacky. There is a cinema in the basement where you can watch films from their collection which we did and had it ourselves! Plus free snacks / coffee always out in the foyer. Little gym as well which was small but had good selection of weights plus bike and cross-trainer. Genuinely loved it and would stay there again! Also 5 mins from the Metro and really close to loads of great independent shops. Recommend eating at the Brasserie Dubillot which is right around the corner, we went there twice

Free mini bar in room, free soft drinks and coffee and snacks in the lobby, great decoration (French movies), oasis of calm, but not boring. Good air conditioning. Great location, just walk straight down Rue Sebastopol to the river and Notre Dame, or go round the corner from the hotel and find the Metro. Very helpful - I left my iPhone plug at home (I had cable and travel plug!) and they were able to lend me an iphone plug. TV French and German, not much, if any, English TV.

We did not get the "briefing" when we checked in, so we didn't know about the benefits of their sister hotels, i.e. that we could go to any in Paris (there are about 10) and get free drinks and snacks when we show our door key.

Everything listed above, plus easy check-in, roomy bathroom (shower), spacious elevators (2 lifts) and great breakfast.

Only one small gripe. Went to breakfast the first morning at 0800 and had difficulty finding a place to sit (3 in the group), decided to go the next morning at 0900 and again had difficulty finding a place to sit, on the third morning we went down to breakfast at 1000 and again had to work on finding a place to sit. Missed the last breakfast due to an early departure for the airport. Will say, the staff was friendly and helpful, but still a little awkward holding a plate of food and chasing down an open table. This won't stop me from staying here again.

Layout of the beds in the room - really hard to move around with the beds positions in the middle of the room considering how small the room was. To get to my bed i had to squeeze past the bottom of the bed making sure i dont knock off the tv on thhe wall. It was a twin room and beds were joint together. Placing each bed horizontally by the main walls would make moving around the room much easier. Not a major problem, as we spent most of our time outside.

+To be honest- everything was perfect. Room was designed in good taste , comfortable bed, even managed to place everything we brought for our long stay on the shelves in the absence of a cardboard, shower was spacious and very comfortable, excellent breakfast and all day round offer of free coffee -tea -pastry in the lobby. Nearby Metro stations that provided access anywhere. The proximity to Saint Denis did not bother us I am aware of its reputation but we walked there feeling safe and secure. We enjoyed walking to the Marais, to Les Halls and Centre Pompidou by foot. Above all- friendliness of all staff members who offered their assistance and had answers to all our questions and requests. To be noted- Mourad, Xiolane, Philippe and Julian

A cool hôtel with live music in the lobby, free refreshments/snacks during the day, nice vibe and location close to hip neighborhood. Friendly staff. The breakfast is not overly varied, but good — I liked a nice selection of French cheeses. Dommage I didn’t get a chance to watch a movie, which you can do in a private movie theater at this cinema-themed hotel.

The room was rather small - but enough for one person. The light switches are manual (no “remove your card to switch everything off” option). One time during the night the TV switched on by itself scaring me to death. View from the window of my room was not great. But those were minor inconveniences, overall it was a pleasant stay.

The staffs are all very friendly during check in and check out. They refill the little fridge with complimentary drinks everyday which was very nice to have a drink ready when coming back to hotel in the evening. The location is not super central but is close enough that is walkable and very close to metro line. It is convenient. The WiFi works very well. I had online lessons every morning and I never had any issue with connection. Room is decent, well kept and clean. I didn't hear any street noise at night so it was quite in the evenings for light sleepers.

The breakfast buffet was just ok. Nothing special.
