The ocation and ambiance of the hotel. As well as the admin staff.

Restaurant service was below par. ... lack of attention to detail and too few staff who were looking out for needs of customer, particularly eye contact. Poor anticipation of customer needs. Staff were eager but not experienced. Serving cold coffee with breakfast was unnecessary and avoidable. Empty buffet was not replenished, fast enough, and it seemed no one was watching that customer experience was paramount. If this hotels restaurant staff had been more attentive, I might have given extra point ratings.

Really lovely hotel, we stayed for our honeymoon and they gave us a free upgrade and cocktails which was lovely! Thank you. The rooms were spacious and clean, the bath is huge! Food and drinks were really good. Staff all very friendly. The spa is great.

Two bits of feedback - the pool in the spa could do with cleaning, there was dirt all on the tiles round the edges and the rooms are looking a bit dated. For a 5 star hotel I wouldn't expect paint to be coming off the wall, carpet really worn and ripped and lights not working 100%.

Fabulous boutique hotel tucked away in the 11th arrondissement near Place de las Bastille. Rooms are decorated to a high standard. Very modern and functional but with real character. Worthy of the positive reviews. The glass ceiling in the dining room creates a bright and contemporary feel. Staff were friendly and attentive. Excellent breakfast served from an open kitchen. Great value for money. This is a boutique hotel that offers all the benefits of a bigger city hotel but at far better value.

There was nothing to dislike

The hotel is in a fantastic location, right by a Metro stop and surrounded by loads of great restaurants/boulangeries etc. The staff were welcoming even during discussions before we arrived, and continued to be so during our stay - we stayed with our 7 month old and they couldn’t have been more accommodating, babies are welcomed in the pool! we also requested a bath and cot in our room, which was arranged without problem.

The only minor negative point for us was expensive coffee that didn’t taste great.

This is a fabulous hotel. Nicely appointed in a great location. Staff very helpful. Wifi good. Facilities are pretty impressive although I never got the chance to use the spa. I grabbed a cocktail in the bar just before leaving and it was delicious. There is also room turndown which is very charming and you get delicious biscuits!

They didn't replace stuff in the bathroom so I didn't have a shower cap on day two and no flannels. Shame because it was the only thing that lacked.

Location - perfect. Just far enough away from the main tourist spots so as not to be too busy but everything is still accessible. The metro station is 2 mins walk away and, for those in need, a children's play area the same distance. Gutted to discover an amazing looking bao shop literally next door as we were leaving but lots of bistros nearby, pharmacies, supermarket and a food market on the doorstep. The hotel is small and had a warm, intimate feel but, despite the size, the facilities were great (also a bonus not having to walk for miles along endless corridors to get to your room). The swimming pool was perfect, a big plus point infact was the decent length with wave machine and jets - and a much welcome addition along with the sauna and steam room to a standard gym offering. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - notable mention to Stef in the restaurant for his impeccable service and amazing cocktails. Room was clean, decor chic and modern, and the bed comfortable. My only gripe was the room size, for a "superior double", was on the small side for my expectations. There was just enough room to walk around the bed and we couldn't open our suitcase out anywhere without blocking a walkway entirely. The shower had an additional rainfall shower head which was glorious. Breakfast was adequate and the quality was good but felt the available selection - particularly the buffet - was somewhat limited compared to other 5 star hotels. However, it is worth noting we stayed for 3 nights during the industrial strikes so this might possibly be a factor (and it was mentioned to us on a couple of occasions that there was less staff than normal). The restaurant itself is lovely and I can imagine the retractable glazed roof and the glazed sun room will be amazing when the weather improves. Overall a fantastic stay and we would 100% stay here again.

The property looks very new and is beautifully designed. Room and bathroom were spacious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Coffee machine, tea and water were provided in the room. The SPA is a nice addition. Close to the metro. Not in the touristic area - we liked the fact that it was more local, with great restaurants and bars in the area.

If you are looking to be close to the main tourist attractions it's not there, but as mentioned we preferred this location that was more quiet and with a local vibe.

The design, service and food are top notch. Sleek, friendly, customer-oriented. Everything is just great! The pool, sauna and steam room are perfect to wind down after a long day or start your day with a quick swim.

A little far out if you are there to visit the main monuments. The Bastille area, where the hotel is located, is also prone to get locked down when there are strikes or demonstrations as it is on the main demonstration routes. Bear that in mind. On the facilities: a shower screen should be fitted as the whole bathroom marble floor gets wet and slippery otherwise.

Very stylish, retro hotel, with such friendly staff. The location of the hotel was perfect for getting around Paris, it is right by a Metro station and walking distance to a lot of the main sites in Paris, we walked to le Marais, then Notre Dame. We have breakfast in the hotel one morning which was lovely, the food is very good and we had dinner and cocktails one evening. Their cocktails are are art form and it is wonderful sitting at the bar watching them being made.

The room was a bit hot and dry and we couldn't turn the aircon/heating down. We could open the window but as the hotel is on a main street we could hear passers by, so closed the window. This didn't spoil our enjoyment of the hotel though.

The breakfast was very good, a lot of choices for adults and kids, all fresh. We also have dinner one night in the hotel restaurant and the food was wonderful, the bar has a big selection of drinks and the barman was very helpful. The pool was small but very modern and nicely located next the sauna. The staff was very friendly and helpful and our dog was very well received, they even had a bed and water-food plates foor him. The decoration of the rooms is beautiful and despite the bad weather we enjoy our stay.

We had 2 rooms, a double for us and a jr. suite for our 3 children, one of the kids had to sleep in the sofa bed and the first night they forgot to open it, when it was finally open my husband noticed that the sheet was dirty so we had to call again to the reception to change it. The sofa was not comfortable, it was hard and not pleasant to sleep. Our kid is 10 years. Another thing to consider specially if you have some mobility issues is that the shower is inside the bad and the bad is very high to climb.
