I liked the workers there. They’re very nice and helpful. For example, I got sunburn and they gave me some cream to make it better. They’re also very polite and reliable. The location was amazing, hard to beat. Safe neighborhood and easy access to subway and other transportation as well as foods.

Breakfast is nice but I think it lacks choices. It’s 100% European (which is ok because France is in Europe) but having for example Asian food as well is kinda mandatory for this price in my opinion. The old fashioned rooms are decent, but I’d like them to be more modern (shower instead of bathtub, etc) while respecting the traditional parisien style.

This is a favourite hotel: wonderful location; stylish and comfortable amenities; delightful and helpful staff; and great breakfast! There is a discreet elegance about this charming hotel. It is top of the list for a visit to Paris.

The room size was disappointingly small. Having paid the extra fo a superior bedroom, there was not much room to move!

Beautiful property in Le Marias with wonderful staff who cater to your every need. My son and I stayed there for three nights, and it felt like a little home away from home. Love the library/living room setup where you can make your own drinks! Will be recommending this property to friends!

Room was a little small for two people, and the separate toilet closet from the rest of the bathroom was a little odd and felt stuffy. It’s an historic building though, so these things are expected.

An absolutely wonderful trip! My husband and I went for our delayed honeymoon and it was so worth the wait! The hotel is beautiful inside as well as stunning on the outside. The location is superb, with a vast selection of amazing bars, restaurants and shops close by. The staff were incredible. No detail was too small to make this stay truly magical! Cannot recommend enough.

I was returning to this lovely hotel where I had spent a very enjoyable week with my daughter in the spring. I also wanted my husband to experience the Marais district of Paris - an area we hadn't really known about before. When we arrived we were given the most amazing upgrade to the Victor Hugo suite. It was a beautiful space and we couldn't have asked for a nicer surprise for what was a birthday celebration weekend. As before when I visited, the staff were excellent: friendly, courteous and thoroughly professional. We will be back! And Thank You once again for our wonderful stay.

Location

Only 2 among the staff were welcoming and genuinely friendly and helpful to the guests. The rest looked tired and overworked , never smile or look you in the eyes, just going through the motion. Don't know if other guests receive the kind of treatment. The hallway to the rooms is dark and small and there are some steps going up or down some rooms, definitely not wheelchair accessible.

Stellar location, breathtaking courtyard, amazing concierge, quiet neighborhood, park with fountains across the street, best one of a kind boutiques in Paris within walking distance.

Our first room was a duplex and way too small/claustrophobic. We were moved to a larger more traditionally shaped and sized room. The elevator only fits 2 people at a time.

Location is very central for Le Marais. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Entrance and local garden were very beautifull and the central lobby and bar were very stylish and comfortable.

Rooms missed a working phone and could use some extra space to hang up coats etc. Bar could use a little bit more of a bar feeling instead of sitting in someone's living room. Hard to see where exactly the entrance is located upon a first time arrival.

This hotel is a beautiful hidden gem in one of Paris' most gorgeous areas (La Marais). Not only is the location fantastic and walking distance twosome of the best cafes, restaurants, patisseries, and ice cream spots, but the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. Sitting in the courtyard sipping on a glass of rose was probably one of my most memorable moments during my solo Parisian trip. The breakfast was delicious with an abundance of options. The room, wow. I had asked for a room with a view and was given a room with three views; over looking some of Paris' most beautiful architecture, quaint streets, and overlooking the courtyard. I will be coming back again!

This is an exceptional hotel in every aspect. From the intimacy of its rooms and public areas to the breakfast options to very helpful staff. I must acknowledge the incredible work and diligence of the luggage helpers and their associates who make entry to and exit from this oasis a wonderful experience. I cannot recommend the hotel enough with full knowledge that by doing so, it may make future stays that more difficult to obtain! Breakfast on the patio is superb and the location cannot be matched by any other hotel in Paris. Well worth the indulgence of a stay!
