Our room was clean and functional. It was definitely small - though we expected that for Paris. The twin beds were smaller than the average twin and we kept seperating them for a little personal space and every day they had been pushed back together. There wasn't quite space for 2 people to open up their luggage - but we made due. Bathroom door didn't have a lock - but it wasn't a deal breaker. A little more space would have gone a long way - but for the price, we were content.

Small beds. Limited space for luggage.

The hotel is a five minute walk from the metro at Breguet-Sabin and it only takes 10 minutes from Gare du Nord (1.65euros). Very friendly and extremely helpful staff. The whole of the reception area is full of well cared-for plants, which gives you the feeling that you are in a botanical paradise. Our room overlooked the street, which was lovely. I spent a lot of time watching the comings and goings of a day in Paris. The central rooms overlooked the roof top herb gardens, used by the chefs in the restaurant. The hotel is located in an interesting area of Paris, near the Marais. Visit the famous Bastille market on Thursday and Sunday mornings, where stalls sell an abundance of fruit and vegetable, fish, bread and flowers to name but a few. There is a lot to see for free. Probably the most famous cemetry in the world - The Pere Lachaise, where Jim Morrison rests in peace, is a 15 minute walk to the east. Walk another 15 minutes south of the hotel, past the Bastille monument and you find the magical High Line Gardens, where trees and shrubs grow along a disused railway, raised high above street level. The concept has been copied in the High Line Gardens in New York. Paris is for walking and for exploring the many hidden treasures. Many pubs have happy hour, half price cocktails from 6pm-8pm. The best cocktails are at the Grand Cafe Bataclan, a ten minute walk north of the hotel. The Ten Belles Cafe, where you can buy artisan breads and good coffee is two minutes from the hotel - try the excellent scones, butter and jam. The breakfast at the hotel sounds expensive at 9.5 euros, but in reality it is cheaper than buying breakfast in local cafe's. So much to see and do - so little time!

Please remember that the hotel does not provide tea and coffee facilities, so we took a travel kettle, plastic cups and tea bags. There are a number of supermarkets minutes away to buy fresh milk. Noisy rooms beside the lifts!!!!

Design is nice, room was cozy and looks like the hotel was recently renovated. The blanket was warm and heavy. The cleaning was provided on daily basis. Very nice staff at the reception desk, very helpful.

Very small rooms. It was pretty cold in a room in January although we switched the AC on. A clear instruction is needed for the fresh eggs at breakfast: 1st day we smashed an egg thinking it was boiled (no). Second day we boiled eggs for 3-6-10 min but after 3rd minute someone else took our eggs as he thought they were free for all. A lot of awkward moments were caused by this eggs process every day😄Please, either have them cooked or make a note: Please, cook and set your own timer. No vegetables at breakfast. One day there was a little mouse running across the hall. The breakfast hall is nearby the entrance from the street so it could get inside easily. We didn’t pay attention to it.

Great customer service from the staff who were always happy to answer questions about the local area. Very pretty large foyer on the ground floor with lots of plants, comfortable seating and and charging points. It has a free table football, bag storage for €4 a day and could be used for working if you need. This is all open plan to the restaurant (which serves reasonably cheap food but I found the menu to be a bit unclear on what type of cuisine they do.) Room was a small double, with a little ensuite with half sink and shower and toilet. Perfectly suited for short trips.

Would have liked the option of a bath instead of a shower. No safe or bedside table for storage eg of passports

The location is close to everything, different choices of metros, food and recreational activities. From the hotel one can easily connect anywhere in the city of Paris and other European countries through buses and train from Gare du Nord and Gare du Lest which are about four metro stations on line 5. I am really fascinated with the open market that operates twice per week close to the facility.

The breakfast was not so inviting, despite the fact that it was a buffet style it presents the same menus everyday. Throughout my nine days at the hotel it was the same choice of breakfast. I will suggest that the management reviews the menu on the the breakfast.

location was brilliant litrally surrounded by everything you would need from supermarkets to bakerys from pubs to popular restaurants everything you could need is in walking distance including the metro not to forget their is a large market at the end of the road on a Sunday. very good looking hotel inside and out, the continental breakfast was excellent and evan included hot sausages and scrambled eggs each day, fresh juice and a variety of pastry items were also included the hotel was very clean and staff were very polite and always willing to helo. I would honestly rate this hotel a 5*

rooms were a little small but for the price you can't really complain.

The location was quiet but so close to many lovely restaurants, cafes and bars. The metro stations were all within a 5 minute walking distance. Comfortable rooms that were so clean each day.

Unfortunately the staff members were very abrupt and we did not receive any information on breakfast times, facilities etc. They did not have any information about the local area and attractions, and because of some members of staff being abrupt we felt that they were unapproachable to ask for information.

This Ibis has a great atmosphere in the lobby with loads and loads of plants. Like loads. Really appealing to the green-thumbed guests or nature and plant lovers. Check in desk staff are helpful and friendly. Great location. Easy to get to things by foot.

Pity they wanted to charge €50 for a couple of hours early check in even though the room is available or they make you come back for 3pm. Why not just give the room to the guest if it's available? No kettle in the room? :-(

It is so beautiful walking in... Like a forest. Very clean, very comfortable. I thought it would be very very basic, but it was actually quite nice. Cozy bar, with good drinks and snacks and great tables for socializing with friends. Location is fabulous, tons of great restaurants and cafes close by, shopping and Place de Vosges less than ten minutes walk.

Rooms a bit small but adequate. Missed having a hot water kettle to make my own tea or coffee.

The location of this hotel is brilliant - very close to several metro stops, which can get you very quickly to wherever you want to be in Paris. Some great little restaurants and bars around the hotel as well as supermarkets, and the restaurant/bar facilities in the hotel itself are also very nice. Very comfortable and warm rooms.

Only thing that I would have liked to have had, but didn't, was a kettle or coffee machine in the room.
