The location of the hotel was fantastic, allowing us to walk to most of the major tourist attractions with ease. While the rooms were a bit small, they were cozy and comfortable. We booked two rooms—a double and a single. The double room had a better view compared to the single, but both were well-maintained. The standout feature of our stay was the exceptional staff. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Special thanks to Guilherme for his outstanding service!!

The water leaking from under the bathtub is an issue that could be improved. We experienced it in our double room.

The decor was really fantastic. Small room but comfy bed, balcony, claw foot tub plus fantastic timeless decor made up for it. Also, at no extra charge, they brought breakfast to my room. Guillerme was working the desk when I arrived and was so accommodating and helpful. A+ customer service. I was messaging before I boarded my flight to Paris which did not have WiFi and asked for him to arrange airport pickup. I didn’t receive a response until I landed and figured it wasn’t going to happen. Much to my surprise a driver was waiting inside the airport with a sign with my name who helped me with luggage and brought me to the hotel! I will definitely book with this boutique-style hotel again!

The only thing I can comment on is that I booked the hotel based on their customer service. There was a different person running the desk the next day who was somewhat new and couldn’t really give solid recommendations nor offered to make reservations for dinner.

The location was brilliant! A lovely and safe neighbourhood with every tourist site within 15-25 minutes reach. Lots of lovely cafes around, chocolatiers and others shops too! We stayed in the Junior Suite overlooking the beautiful St Augustine Church. It was nice and spacious, lots of storage space, very well use of space, shelves, cupboards with lots of shelving. The two rooms were interconnected with a passage along which there is a large bathroom ( a bathtub and shower facility), therefore the rooms did not feel tight, well designed. The beds were large and I have to say were very comfortable (including the pillows) and we slept really well. Any amount of drinking bottled water available at no extra charge. We were a family of 3, the suite can well accommodate 4. However a note, the toilet is a separate cubicle from the bathroom, and no health shower. The rooms have large windows which can be opened for fresh air if one didn't want to use the AC. Breakfast was wholesome, Fresh juice, plenty of Coffee, fresh fruit, yogurts, assortment of breads, cakes, pancakes, (hot and cold breakfast options). The team at Maison Malesherbes, led by Manager Tebbi Djamel was just fantastic - very responsive, warm and so hospitable right from booking to check out! They also accommodated our request for a late check out which was great! Many thanks to Djamel, Rosine, Zahira and others for making our trip so very special! Merci beaucoup!

Beautiful decor and friendly staff

The only issue was the room service. It took over an hour and was missing items (a bottle of water and ice cream that went with the dessert). After calling down, they brought up the water but not the ice cream and suggested they were afraid it would melt (then why is it on the menu?). They said to call when I was done. I thought they would bring the ice cream then. They just took the tray, and I waited and waited and gave up. I also ended up going out with wet hair bc the blow dryer did not work. Presumably it was replaced after I asked but I hadn’t tested it.

All employees were very friendly and supportive with different questions. I liked the interior of the whole hotel and also the breakfast (petite déjeuner) was very delicious and fresh. You can choose for different bread types, yogurts, cheeses and fruits).

Unfortunately you can hear your room neighbours, which can be difficult when you have different interests and different plans (meaning night life). Therefore I‘d recommend to use ear plugs when you have a light sleep.

We loved the hotel and staff. We felt like visiting distant family. The staff was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. A beautiful designed boutique hotel with great views onto Église Saint Augustine. Walking distance to everything. Brasseries and cafes minutes walking away. Very comfortable bed and great water pressure. Rooms are small, but that is normal for boutique hotels in Paris. Worth it for the charm.

Loved our stay. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. Our view was stunning as we looked out onto the cathedral outside. The location was great, walking distance to the Opera district, Galeries Lafayette as well as Arc de Triomphe. The area around the hotel felt very safe as it was just myself and my daughter travelling. Fantastic boulangerie located within walking distance as well as a good selection of restaurants and shops. All the staff we met were friendly and really helpful.

I loved this hotel! Perfect location, just a few minutes walk from the metro and around 15 minute walk from almost all main attractions. The bedrooms were spacious for Parisian standards, and very comfy with all amenities you need. I especially liked that you could control the temperature of your room -- so many hotels say they have AC but they control the master temperature. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Even though it is on a busy street it is very quiet in the rooms. Definitely recommend!

The only issue was my sink drain was getting stuck closed. Other than that everything was perfect.

I wanted somewhere with some French character rather than some modern hotel which could be anywhere in the world. This hotel is small, quaint and well-located with many sights within walking distance although the metro station is less than 5 minutes walk away. Room was a reasonable size with an extra large, comfortable bed. Despite being on the corner of a busy junction it was not particularly noisy at night so we slept well. Lovely view of the church from our little balcony. Decor was charming and there was plenty of storage space with use of a safe. Decent size bathroom with roll top bath and a hand-held shower. The toilet, however, is in a separate cubicle. The reception staff were very helpful, Zahira on arrival and particularly Rosine on departure as she dealt with a potential crisis. Because of the traffic during the Rugby weekend, our airport transport tried to contact us to arrange an early transfer. Unfortunately, I had left my phone in a nearby cafe and when Rosine tried to ring me it was answered by the cafe staff so she arranged for the taxi driver to walk round to collect it. Therefore, when I arrived back at the hotel unaware of anything Rosine reunited me with my phone. If it were not for her I would have left France without it!

The inconvenience of the toilet being in a separate cubicle. The hand held shower over the bath was not ideal. The breakfast room downstairs was very attractively decorated however while there was a very good choice of cold continental items the two warm tureens which should have had scrambled eggs and bacon with sausage were often empty and when requested a small amount was refilled. Not sure it was worth E16 but that was my only complaint about the whole place.

We stayed at Maison Malesherbes for two days on a quick visit to Paris. It was the highlight of our stay. The service was phenomenal from front desk/concierge to the kitchen staff and cleaning staff. Beautiful facilities well kept, a great breakfast, clean rooms and just a lovely boutique hotel in the centre of everywhere you would want to be in Paris! Highly recommend and hopefully we too will be back one day too! Thank you every one of you for making our stay so amazing.
