The whole Paris is so so flat! Perfect for walks! It just invites you to stroll the city aimlessly and discover cute spots filled with a vibrant culture, beautiful and astounding architecture, incredible food and amazing wine! What a experience to have with someone! Montmarte district, is on a hill, almost like a mini mountain. It's a perfect spot to see the whole city. It's definitely one of the most romantic districts of Paris. Besides the great view, there are many tiny restaurants and cute little cafes. It just looks so lovely! I messaged the hotel in advance if it would be possible to prepare roses, rose petals and and bottle of red wine in our room as well as some french snacks. The staff was just amazing and I was able to get exactly the experience I was looking for! The room with the city view was captivating us every morning while still in the bed. The only thing I would wish to change would be to replace the milky window in the bathroom. We were constantly opening it as the view there was just as incredible! You can enjoy it while brushing your teeth or do you make up. It feels as if the city with Eiffel tower in the centre flirts with you, especially during sunsets and sunrises! Thank you!

The hotel is really well positioned, you can reach the metro in 5min walk and also the Sacré coeur in Montmatre. There is a also a wallace fountain right in front where you can fill your water bottle. Breakfast was a small buffet, but they had everything we wanted, to be honest it was way better than I expected for a 3 star hotel. The rooms are small, like everywhere in Paris, but the bed was comfortable and they even had a water boiler in the room

Most of the staff in the reception were unfriendly and when you asked a question, they seemed to be annoyed. A little smile wouldn't hurt. We also asked where we can find drinking water and they didn't even mention the fountain in front (which can be easily overseen when you don't know what you are looking for). But overall for the price it was a great stay.

Location was excellent in the heart of Montmarte. We chose a room on the 4th floor with a small balcony with a view of the Eiffel Tower. The room was small but we really didn’t mind because that’s typical in Paris and we didn’t spend time in the room other than to sleep and enjoy a sunset toast on the balcony. It also was surprisingly quiet from outside noise though the internal walls are thin

We could hear neighbors every move coming and going. Breakfast was pricy for what you get so we opted to not eat at the restaurant on site. With so many gorgeous cafes around, why would you unless it’s included which it was not

Location, location, location! The hotel is a gem in the heart of Montmartre. I loved facing the courtyard and hearing, seeing and feeling the buzz of this arrondissement. Waking up to a man playing the accordion every morning was magical! And the staff were superb! Friendly and always helpful.

The shower box was awfully small and no face cloths or hand towels in the bathroom. I'd have those instead of the bathrobe perhaps. Also, it would be helpful to provide clients a small pamphlet as to where the small markets (dépanneurs) are located so people know where to grab a Coke or Perrier or snacks since there are no vending machines in the building. And where to find the post office and mail box specifically. Some of us still like to send postcards.

Lovely location at foot of 'La Butte' de Montmartre. But steep climb on foot up to top! The top fifth floor has an incredible view over Paris and the Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre Basilica nearby. But it is a bit expensive compared with the rooms below. Worth it for a nice experience!

Breakfast a bit basic but okay for a few day stay. Or eat out for breakfast. Our most expensive small apartment room '517' on the top floor had no extractor fan for the toilet or the shower - so the poo smells stay in the room, unless you can get the opposite windows both open for ventilation. Which we did, but the window has a hinge that is a bit loose! So we closed it quick! Needs attention. But you can just enjoy being in Paris!

I live in Sydney Australia and booked online . When I received confirmation , I realised I had booked TimHotel Montmartre ,not Montparnasse . As I had prepaid , I was afraid I would not be able to change it . Upon calling both hotels , Montmartre and Montparnasse , they kindly organised the swap for me , for which I am grateful .

I was lucky enough to have been given a fairly spacious room , with a bath , which is rare in Paris . Having said that , my brother and my sister have stayed at TimHotel Montparnasse and both said the room was very small . As I said , I was lucky as my room was spacious for a Paris hotel room .

We came to Paris for a weekend escape and stayed in Timhotel Montmartre. The room was very clean, location is excellent, bed super comfy, in general the room looked much better then on the pics. Stuff is great! We came late and I asked for a second comforter, which we received in a minute. We didn't take breakfast at the hotel as there very many cafes in the walking distance, including a couple of new wave coffee bars with amazing coffee drinks.

Bathroom doesn't provide you good privacy. It is tiny with a sliding door. For us was ok but it depends on how you feel with your travel partner. On the other hand it is Paris, you will most probably not find anything different.

Ideally situated near the Abbesses Metro station, Sacre Cours, and a wide range of restaurants, the Timhotel Montmatre is a gem. Facing a tree-shaded place, it's intimate and comfortable. At around 400 feet higher than the center of Paris (the 'mont' in Montmartre...), our room offered a commanding view of the city, including the Eiffel Tower, and the Moulin de la Galette. The hotel staff was peerless - friendly, informative, and helpful. The breakfast was good. After my last stay in the 6th Arondissement - basically a closet above the Metro, with no elevator to the fifth floor, at twice the price - I vowed I'd find a better solution. The Timhotel is every bit of that. We were delighted.

The room was small, though workable, and the shower was quite tight - I'm 5'10", and banged my elbows on the walls every morning.

The location was great! It was a little hard to find--even the taxi driver had trouble negotiating the small one-way streets but once we were there the neighborhood was terrific with lots of small shops, cafes, and bars. Very close to Sacre Coeur and a short walk to the metro and maybe 25 minute walk to the Gare de Nord. The Timhotel is right next to where Pablo Picasso lived and worked in a shady square where people sat outside a small bar enjoying a beverage and the evening light. It was beautiful. Breakfast was good--good coffee, croissants, and nutella. If that's not enough, there was fruit, muesli, hardy breads yogurt, baguette and much more. The view was spectacular from our fifth floor window looking out across Paris to the Eiffel Tower, La Defense, and if you looked way out you could see the Arch de Triumph as well.

If it's your first time in Paris, you might find it a long way from most of the main sights to which tourists normally flock. We've been there and done that so this was a nice change. Real Parisians live and work here. The area was much more diverse and interesting.

Area is amazing just next to the where restaurant were you can grab a cold glass of wine before you go to the bed. In general, location is very good. Metro stations several are close and we even walked to the Effeile Tower, so if you want everyoing is reachable by foot too! Rooms are also clean with really comfortable bedding!

On bathroom sink plug was blocked like a bath. Thus, should be checked.
