Pictures did not do the property justice! It was a fantastic hotel..fantastic location, great interiors, comfy nights sleep, delicious cocktails & the most amazing food! But the staff made the stay memorable and couldn’t do enough for us!!

The hotel is very well placed and the rooms are clean, quiet spacious and well furnished. The lake facing rooms have a great view. The staff are very friendly and fluent in English. The exterior pool was small but very nice to be in and they provided towels on demand without any hassle. They also have other services like bicycles and sup with extra charges.

Breakfast was expensive and not very well suited for vegans like me. The mini-bar refrigerator wasn't working and the assortments (not-free) were not clearly marked, so some family members were confused and opened them. Near the pool, they decided to place a lot of plants that had flowers, resulting in a large number of bees and wasps (some kids even got stung).

Exceptional location by the lake, overlooking the bike path. Very nice heated pool (26C) and terrace. Good spa with large sauna and hammam and modest indoor pool (28C). The room and balcony were lovely - light and spacious.

Many minor points that showed a lack of attention to maintenance including poor ventilation in the bathroom, which smelled a bit moldy. The WiFi in the room hardly worked - not at all for our phones and only very slowly with a computer. Two electricity sockets in the room didn't work and neither did several lights in the garden. In the spa, there were puddles by the entrance for no apparent reason. One shower head sprayed water on the ceiling and the pool had a high chlorine level while not being especially warm. Not critical, but it's not really a five star hotel.

The location was amazing. The facilities were great! Our lake view suites exceeded expectations. The pool and lounging with beautiful backdrop was my favorite part definitely a place to completely relax. Loved the close proximity to Annecy. We took the train from Paris to Annecy. Black Bass is a 10 minute taxi ride and a 20 minute bike ride.

Breakfast & dinner on hotel property was very pricey. The dinner the first night was outstanding and made up for the cost. The steam room was not open and working in the spa area we tried to use the sauna and that was not turned on for use 2 days in a row when made mgmt aware we were told the sauna would be turned on within 10 minutes that didn't happen not a game changer but it was a disappointment considering it was a service provided alongside a beautiful indoor spa pool to not be able to experience both was a bummer.

Everyone on staff (front desk, room cleaners, restaurant waiters. Bar tender) was absolutely amazing. They were hospitable, friendly, and professional. The room was lovely, with tasteful decor and nice amenities. I ordered the full tasting menu in the restaurant and every dish was fantastic. I absolutely loved the flavor combinations. I tried two different cocktails over my stay, with Clement (the bartender) making me a drink of his choice each time. They were delicious! Rubin, my waiter, also gave me recommendations for local events that were helpful. Wonderful stay & I would love to come back in future.

We were on our honeymoon and it was our first stop we were very excited to be in Annecy. I have a problem in my lungs so I asked for a nonsmoking room so I don’t get any azmah. We arrived and there was a problem in the bathroom it smelled very bad it had a smoking smell that effected my lungs. The staff tried to solve the problem but it wasn’t solved they gave us a smaller room and we paid for a junior suite. Also, they got us an air refresher but still it didn’t solve the problem, even the refresher didn’t appeal in a good way it looked bad in a 5 stars hotel. it is not what I expected from a 5 stars hotel Unfortunately, the problem effected my lungs and my honeymoon. I don’t feel good now. i wasn’t satisfied at all.

The room and the view of the lake. The staff were excellent. The facilities were private and peaceful. Well located for Annecy and the cycle path. Very clean hotel and excellent pool area.

As cyclists, we would have preferred a more varied and substantial menu than was offered. The service in the bar and outside areas was somewhat slow due to an apparent lack of staff. For instance, you had to fetch your own drinks etc when by the pool and it was sometimes challenging to find a staff member when seated on the terrace. The bike storage advertised as secure was not.

The location was fantastic, simply stunning. The staff we're brilliant, super friendly and always on hand to help with anything that we needed.

A lake view would have been amazing, as our 'forest' view was a bit limited, but we didn't pay for a lake view so we can't complain about this.

The view from our hotel room, over the lake, made this worth every penny. Staff were very helpful and the whole place was pet friendly. Sitting out on the terrace in the evening was lovely and plenty of places to walk the dog (the hotel backs onto a cycle path that's between the hotel and lake).

Beautiful contemporary but elegant hotel facing east on the waters edge across lake Annecy. Gated secure parking. Rooms spacious, clean & bright. Comfortable bed, modern bathrooms. Most impressive were the staff, especially Melanie on front desk, extremely professional, knowledgable on local area & always friendly. Remembered our names & our plans, impressive. Will definitely be recommending & hope to return. Excellent facilities & just a 10 minute cycle into Annecy.

For a pricey gastro restaurant we were disappointed to see very young children were allowed in all evening, ambience was occasionally interrupted by a tired, bored toddler. Not expected for the price. Excellent food quality & presentation but pricey.
