Very good location. Front desk staff were polite and professional. Room was clean and comfortable, though the bed (typical double = European twin beds attached) was 'sunken' in the middle. Room was warm (good heaters in bathroom and bedroom). Great water pressure and warm/hot water. Breakfast was good (meats/cheese/yogurts/hard boiled eggs/ juice/ coffee, etc), with a variety of breads (sweet and 'normal'). No warm items. Did not use the sauna so no information on that. I would definitely stay here again.

Unrelated to the hotel, but FYI, the parking in the garage across the street is 22€/24hrs. Breakfast is 13€/pp.

Quick 5 minute walk to the cathedral, a little farther to Petit France. Parking lot across the street. Great restaurants and shops nearby. Just off the riverfront. Staff very helpful with restaurant recommendations, tips, taxis, etc. Breakfast was good. Rooms were large. Beds were firm but comfortable. Clean and spacious. Drug store across the street anbd great Pâtisserie anround the corner a block anway. Away from the bustle of the Christmas markets, it was a nice break from the crowds. Quiet for sleep.

Towels were threadbare. Flimsy cups not good for hot drinks. Dated decor.

I liked the staff and their helpfulness. They made us feel at home.

Unfortunately a younger staff member, tall and dark hair (maybe new on the job?) made us feel not so welcome. I do not know if it was because of our clothing or what? We had been driving all day and were tired. He seemed a bit unsecure if we were your guests or to the albergo? But a crash course in who pays your salary, maybe a good thing. It was a very small room and the cleaning was not that good for the price category of hotel. A dirty balcony and towards a hectic street and even if they had double windows you heard the traffic.

The hotel is conveniently located, not far from trams, and quite close to city centre. The room was smallish but clean, with a bed that was between double and single in size and very comfortable. There are standard electrical sockets as well as USB ones. Breakfast area was spacious enough and the possibility of leaving the luggage after checking out comes in handy.

The shower was tiny and leaking due to how it's built. Breakfast could have bigger selection of cheese and some vegetables and fruits wouldn't go amiss. I had kettle in my room, but the tea / coffee was never resupplied.

We stayed here while we were in Strasbourg to see the Christmas markets. We arrived by train and we took a taxi to and from the hotel from the train station. We were a short walk to the Christmas markets and were very happy with the location. We had breakfast here the first morning and we thought the choices were great. We arrived near the end of the breakfast session and they resupplied choices that were getting low. We requested a taxi for our departure from the front desk and it arrived exactly at 11:00 am as requested. The location of the hotel was on a quieter side street.

The location of Hotel Roses is great. The Ill River and its broad walkway is just across the street. It was a short, pretty walk along the river to the Strasbourg Cathedral and the heart of the city. Several inexpensive restaurants are along this walkway. We loved the rose themed decor. Our bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff are very helpful and speak English. The breakfast was ample with a good assortment of croissants, breads, cheeses, meats, and yogurts plus coffee, tea and juices.

Our only complaint is the deep, slippery bathtub and the hand held shower. We felt that anyone, especially the elderly, could easily slip in the tub or getting into or out of the tub.

My stay at Hotel Roses in Strasbourg was simply delightful. The hotel's quaint elegance and warm hospitality immediately made me feel at home. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, offering everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location is perfect, just a short walk from Strasbourg's main attractions. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure that every aspect of my stay was enjoyable. I would highly recommend Hotel Roses to anyone looking for a charming and memorable experience in Strasbourg.

The genial receptionist when I checked in on my arrival was very welcoming and helpful. I loved the location and the intimate feel of the hotel. It was a great welcome to Strasbourg, my first visit there.

There was no heat in my room on my first night and I was extremely uncomfortable. Breakfast would be improved with the addition of some fresh fruit.

The hotel is very pretty and unique, each room is named after a different movie star ( Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, and so on). The location is amazing! The space for one person is just big the right size, but the air was a bit stuffy and the cleaning could be higher. All in all good hotel, and location but the price could be a bit upgraded.

Downsides- bathroom could be a bit cleaner, and the rooms could be aired more often. YOu could feel as if the room was stiff and not aired before my arrival. Also, it was a bit noisy from other guests, but that is not the hotel's fault.

Hotel Roses was perfect for what I needed during my short trip to Strasbourg. It was centrally located and near public transit. It felt safe for me as a woman traveling alone. The staff spoke English, and the room was comfortable and clean.

I had a hard time working the air conditioning, and ironically, my room ended up being a bit too cold. Still, I intentionally chose a hotel with A/C - it's not always easy to find in Europe. Also the room was quite small, but that was fine as I was traveling by myself. The bathroom was roomy!
