The house was incredible, beautifully decorated in a Moroccan/Algerian style. We had the top floor apartment and access to the pretty terrace with a view of the river. Bed was very comfortable and there was air conditioning. The host was lovely and helpful. She provided a delicious breakfast and she gave us good advice about a beautiful route we could take to our next destination.
The town of Trebes doesn't have much going for it but it's only a ten minute drive to Carcassonne.

Pierrette is just the nicest host; kind, thoughtful and her home is a delight to stay in. We were in the attic which had 3 rooms! Everything was so unique and her balcony garden overlooks the river which was beautiful at sunset and early morning. She made us beautiful galettes and fresh fruit and coffee in her breakfast room. A delightful place to stay.
We didn't need disabled access but this is not the property if you can't climb stairs. We loved it though.

The landlady was so welcoming and helpful. The cottage is quaint and quirky and homely and exquisitely French! There was secure parking for our car. The breakfast was freshly made by the landlady and for dinner there are many restaurants along the canal within easy walking distance.

First, our host, Pierrette, was wonderful. She greeted us each morning warmly and provided an exceptional breakfast made with fresh, local produce from her own garden. Second, the rooms were impeccable, with views of the river. The bed was extremely comfortable and provided two nights of the most restful sleep during our entire trip. Pierrette made us feel like an old family friend. We would most highly recommend!

This is an excellent place to stay; good location well furnished rooms and facilities. We will use again on our travels. Owners very accommodating, friendly and do a superb breakfast, dog friendly street narrow and on street parking is difficult.

The quirkiness of the accommodation! Very roomy & a cute balcony. Nice shower. Hostess was very friendly.
Difficult to find by car through narrow streets.Two flights of winding stairs.
