Firstly, I am South African not Thai. One looks for value for money when booking and this was well worth every penny. Liked everything. Looked suspect from the outside but never judge a book by its cover. Not the most welcoming on arrival but staff turned out to be really nice and helpful, was allowed to check in some hours early. Old but really charming hotel on the outside. The entrance is impresive, stairs etc. Then all stairs are wooden and on the outside, really good. Passage/walkways wooden and also all on the outside with neat table and chairs outside each room door, magic. All a little rough on the outside but once I opened the room door....just perfect. Serperate nice big bathroom with glass shower and good water and pressure. Large room with all you would want/need, kettle, tv, table and chairs, fridge, cupboard, comfy bed and good pillows etc. Now, the views are worth millions. Opposite side of the river to the city so you look across at the city and cable car, everything. A neat deck with tables and chairs on 5th and top floor. Sit with wine in the evening and coffee in the morning hardly a better place in Tbilisi. I only spent one night as I had not discovered this place before 4 days skiing in Gudauri. Stayed 3 nights in another also magic hotel "the Classic" but not quite equal. A 5 minute walk to Avlabari metro and it is backed onto the main road so bus stop also 5 minute walk away. Will certainly be returning to Nata on my trip next year.....dont you miss it

Nothing to dislike

Breathtaking city views from the terrace!! Location was just perfect for me: a lot of convenience stores, pharmacies, a Pizza di Roma cafe and public transport stops in just a 3-minute walk from the place (just go round the corner, climb up a small street left of the hotel entrance, see a great cathedral and turn right to the high street in the area). While staying in the Nata hotel, I particularly loved the way I was treated by the receptionists, with all of them with no exception speaking good English and Russian and willing to go an extra mile when necessary. I also liked the spacious and very warm bathroom in my room on the fourth floor. I saw so many beautiful people in the gorgeous old city! As I was due to leave Tbilisi soon this time, I stayed only for a couple of days in the Metehi area before moving forward along my complicated route and I must tell you, despite being centrally located, the Nata hotel proved the right place for me to relax after a bustling city life.

The condition of some household equipment, the electric kettle in particular, left much to be desired, but when I addressed the receptionist lady, the problem was immediately solved and I was given a brand new kettle to use in my room. The heating system in the room was way too powerful, so I had to open windows from time to time, but that must be a plus in some circumstances. Outside temperatures at the time of my stay were at about -2 degrees by the way. To my surprise, there wasn't any open restaurant or cafe at the hotel at the time. Perhaps, the reason was that there were only a few guests there right after the New Year holidays.

Excellent location, close to historic districts, wineries and restaurants. It also had a lovely terrace to sit and enjoy a cup of tea in fresh air (which we did).

There are three things I didn't like, but those were bearable in my case. 1. The beds were with two matrases, which always gave you the feeling that you will get down through those. I just got used to it ( 2. The internet connection was unstable. For a long time it didn't connect. Imagine if you had to work remotely or you don't have phone internet connection. Meh. 3. There were other guests in the hotel, who made a lot of noise even at 2am. The rooms truly need isolation and noise reduction. Gladly, earphones and some music helped me to fall asleep.

Traditional old hotel in the heart of the historic city. Balconies on every floor, a roof terrace, and a cool courtyard with some hanging seats (swinging) and a breakfast area. Whilst there is no lift facility in this old rambling hotel, my luggage was carried for me, up 4 floors, to my room. The view from the bathroom in room 404 is amazing! See night photo through window. Low level window with only black open mesh on glass, no frosted glass, no blinds. Unsure whether the view was only one way with the bathroom lights on, so I showered in the dark or with only a slight glow from the room. The view across the city from this room is 'wow'. Room well equipped with fridge, kettle, air con (quiet), hairdryer, and all areas were spotlessly clean.

slightly noisy as located within the lively old city and near a main road behind but it didnt keep me awake. overall the location was a plus.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Nata in Tbilisi and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed. But what really stood out to me was the cleanliness of the hotel. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, and the view from my window was absolutely breathtaking. What made my stay even better was the staff. They were incredibly supportive and kind, going above and beyond to ensure that my experience was a memorable one. They even helped me with my luggage, despite there being a few stairs to navigate.

it is important to note that there are stairs throughout the property that may be a disadvantage for some guests, particularly older individuals or those with mobility issues. While the hotel staff is very helpful and accommodating, the stairs could still pose a challenge for those who have difficulty climbing them.

The location! Very central. Just 15-20mins walk to Freedom Square and 5mins walk to the nearest metro station. There are a lot of restaurants around too. Very good value for money and the staff were all nice and helpful

There was a construction site next to the hotel which was kinda noisy during the day

Located in the heart of the city. Walking distance to touristic places. Great city view from terrace and also inner garden was so nice! We checked in at the hotel in the middle of the night and didn't face with any problem. The staff was kind and helpful. The room was clean enough. High quality with a low price! If i come to Tbilisi again, I would definitely stay here!

The bed was really so uncomfortable. It's okey for a few nights but not more...

The hotel is nice (Old georgian habitation) just five minutes walking from Bridge of peace and Metro station, the view is waw, also the room is big and washroom is clean Nice staff especially IKA

If you have a sensitive sleeping as me you will struggle to sleep the 1 night because there is too much noise from cars from the street at night. Housekeeping enter to the room without knocking on the door.

I loved the building itself, it had a cozy courtyard with a fountain, the view from the top floor was spectacular especially at sunrise and sunset and there were tables and chairs! The location was optimal, just a few minutes and you were in the heart of the old town, across the river.

Everything was great, I have no complaints.

The hotel was well located, close to the old town, and transport links, including bus stop from the airport. My room was clean and comfortable and better than I expected for the price paid. While no private balcony, there was a table and chairs outside the entrance to the room with great views over Tbilisi.

All was good.
