Wow! Where do I start… staff were exceptional, very warm and friendly and did everything they could to make my stay perfect. Which it was! Bed was like sleeping on a cloud, so so soft and big. The room itself was so clean and very modern, bathroom was great with a big shower. The show stopper was the glass floor and bathtub on the balcony which was a surprise after I only booked a premium room but mentioned it was my birthday. So the receptionist when I checked in said the hotel wanted to gift me the luxe glass room as a present. Was so grateful and surprised. I was also given a bottle of Georgian wine. Bathtub is heaven, I had 2 baths in it, in the evening and morning and was really relaxed with the sun coming down on me and watching the river boats pass by. Pure bliss! If I get get a chance to come back to this hotel I will definitely spend the extra money for this luxe glass room again!

The buffet breakfast wasn’t to my taste as it was traditional Georgian food and little choice but that’s only my opinion as I’m not a massive fan of cold breakfasts. However the scrambled eggs with cheese which you order was exceptional, really tasty and delicious and a good size portion.

I really loved this hotel! The staff were super friendly and informative from the beginning, the place was clean, the bed comfortable, the breakfast was so good and varied, and it was a 5 minute walk to the old town (actually, I think the hotel itself is technically in the Old Town...a 5 minute walk into the centre of the old town, in that case). I would recommend this place to friends, and I would stay here again. Great value for money, too.

My only gripe is that a couple nights I woke up seriously overheating, because my AC stopped working. As it turns out, every room is connected to the same ac/heating system, so if a guest requests the heat to be on, they have to switch over the entire system for the hotel, so that anyone who had the AC on is out of luck. They were pretty good at turning it back, though. This may be a point to fix in the future?

I had an amazing stay at this property! The staff went above and beyond to help me with a unique request, and their kindness and professionalism truly stood out. The mattress was incredibly comfortable. The room was spotless, and the attention to cleanliness was impressive. To top it all off, the view of the river from my window was breathtaking. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back again!

While my stay was overall wonderful, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The breakfast was quite simple, but that’s subjective—it was served quickly and everything was fresh and tasty. Additionally, I noticed there were no single-use toiletries provided, which might be inconvenient for some guests. However, these are small issues compared to the overall great experience.

Sandali Metekhi review Very good location on high point on the river near Metekhi church. The staff is professional and friendly. The hotel has elevator and is spotless. The first room we were given in 4 th floor was comfortably, compact but unattractive street view. We complained and got view room. Which is the reason to be in this hotel, the amazing view of the fortress and river as you sit on balcony. Airco works very well. Our last day we had to move to no view room. Wifi didn’t work well in room 406 but excellent in viewroom 501. The hotel is walking distance from many attractions and bus station for onward travel. In room 406 there is no bathroom fan!! There is a small fridge in the rooms stocked full of drinks and snacks so if you like to use it for your own items you need to remove theirs.

I’d say if you can’t get view room choose a different hotel.

Sandali Metekhi Boutique Hotel is a beautiful hotel in the old part of town. It has an ideal location for exploring many of the Tbilisi highlights, and at the same time being away from the main hustle of the tourist location. The views of the river are fantastic and I would highly recommend upgrading to the bathtub on the balcony which was a highlight. Breakfast is super tasty with lots of freshly cooked, baked and picked offerings and the reception staff are very welcoming and helpful. A wonderful stay than you!

A gym would be the only thing that could improve the hotel. Otherwise nothing.

I stayed at this hotel for one night and found their service to be excellent. They offer the option to pay half for a late checkout, which I needed. The location is very convenient to tourist spots, and the view from my room was superb. The staff were very friendly and polite. The interior design is up-to-date, and the entire hotel is super clean.

The only downsides were the lack of a handspray in the toilet and the breakfast area, which doesn't have a view. The rooftop would have been a great spot for the breakfast café. The balcony lacks privacy as you cannot comfortably stay there if the guest next door is on their balcony too.

Beautiful clear room, perfect view, tasty breakfast with lots of hot options- eggs/porridge/ sausages/ bacon. Good service and nice staff.

Some problems with the bathroom- the floor is always wet after the shower. The neighbours balcony has side view on the bath on your balcony :D

The staff was incredibly helpful and always made sure we had everything we needed. They even explained all the tours and helped us book transfers, which made our trip so much easier. The room was spotless and super comfortable, and we loved having a terrace with a beautiful view of the lake. The city views from our room were also stunning. The breakfast was delicious, and we appreciated that they offered us food from the menu too. The location was perfect, in a quiet area but still close to everything we wanted to explore. Even though we booked the hotel late at night, they were fully available and arranged an airport transfer for us. The guy who contacted us even woke up to make sure we were doing well. The hospitality and warmth of the people there made us feel so welcome. We absolutely loved everything about our stay and can't wait to come back!

A light in the shower would be great.

The property is well-maintained and tidy. While it's not located directly in the main area like Freedom Square or the Old Town, it's a reasonable 15-20 minute walk to Freedom Square and a 10-minute walk to the cable car station for Narikala Fortress. Conveniently, taxis are readily accessible, and the staff is accommodating.

The breakfast was somewhat limited, lacking variety in options. The breakfast area is confined to a room-sized space. If you choose to have breakfast in your room, you can do so by paying an additional 10 Gel. It's worth noting that the hotel itself doesn't offer any food services, but there are numerous restaurants in close proximity.

The view from the room was spectacular and indeed the highlight of the whole stay! The room itself is spacious, nice and has a sense of style to it. Bathroom was clean and cozy. They have little touches on eveything, even the towel was soft and with pattern to it. I like it a lot and wish we can stay for more nights. Location is very convenient, only 5' walk to the center of old Tbilisi.

Unfortunately there was a electricity outage during my stay, and they didn't have generator so we got no electricity for the whole morning (the lights were still on though)
