The breakfast was really good and I liked the choices of ham and cheese., the coffee was reallly nice. The room was very clean and comfortable the shower was really nice. The staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble

I don’t really have any complaints but it would be nice if there was a kettle provided in the room. It would be nice if there was better signage from the railway station to the hotel. The lighting in the area could be better but it is safe. I would be mindful near the station as there are beggars as you go inside the station

Excellent value for money and very close to the station. Breakfast is excellent and great value being included in the price. Our room on the 3rd floor had been renovated Andy was freshly decorated. This was a return visit for us at the end of our holiday. It was a handy place for the first and last nights of our Interrail holiday after and before Eurostar trips. We will definitely return.

This is more of a suggestion than a dislike - it would just be the icing on the cake if the room had a kettle with tea/coffee making facilities.

Old-school little independent hotel about a 5-minute walk from Aachen's Hauptbahnhof that was a delightful surprise. The free breakfast is superb- fresh breads, quality meats and cheeses, freshly-squeezed orange juice that you prepare yourself, good coffee. My room was comfy, with a decent bed and big, BIG operable windows. Impressive array of TV channels in many languages. Excellent shower with amazing water pressure. Very friendly, helpful staff. Quiet!!

The property is a bit run-down with peeling wallpaper and funky sloping hallways, but I'd say that's character. I loved it.

Friendly staff at reception. Clean, spacious room with comfortable bed and pillows. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options. The hotel is close to the train station where we parked our car for 10 euros for an overnight stay. From the hotel, it's about a 15 minute walk into the old city centre where we enjoyed the fabulous Christmas market.

Close to the train station. Very friendly staff. Excellent selection of cheeses, meats, and rolls for breakfast. Less than 1km to the town centre. They don't do meals, apart from breakfast, but that wasn't a problem.

It would have been nice to have more pillows. I personally prefer a nice firm pillow(s). It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room, but that appears to be a common thing I have noticed over the years in German hotels, but again, it's not a great deal.

The hotel's location is good, not far from the city center, close to the train station, and not a bad neighborhood. There is a closed room for bicycles. The room was very clean; the heating worked perfectly, which is important after a long cold day outside. For breakfast a variety of bread, cheese and dishes is served; guests can also make fresh orange juice by themselves.

Some of the rooms face the street, and then it can be quite loud in the evening and morning.

Very surprised, hotel looks dated and the rooms too. But room we had was clean, quiet and reasonably spacious. There was complimentary hot drinks in the lobby. Breakfast was plentiful. Fresh bread/rolls, cereals, dried fruit, jams, spreads, cold meat, cheese and a small hot section. Also had oat milk available at breakfast and gluten free crackers which were sealed.

It wasn't clear when booking that parking is in the main station carpark. However, don't let this put you off. We could park outside the hotel to unload/check in. The hotel provided a parking card which gave us access to the carpark. The parking felt safe and reasonably secure. Though car is left at own risk and it is public. On checkout we gave the parking card to reception who gave us a discounted rate of €8.50 per 24hrs. The carpark is about 200mtrs away. Collected car, returned to hotel to check out and hand back carpark card. Parking options should be clearer. Only 2 power points in the room, neither well suitated. Bathroom was a little on the small side

This was my second stay at the hotel and it was as good as the first. Comfortable room, good breakfast selection, quality food, just a few minutes walk to the train station (though you cannot hear the trains) and a Netto supermarket just a four-minute walk away. If going to Aachen, this will be the hotel I look to stay at. One good thing about Aachen, is that they have a very good Sunday market and the Cathedral is great to visit - it is quite something inside.

A very comfortable hotel, located just a few minutes walk to the the train station. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast room was very good and the selection on offer was also very good. From what I could see, free tea and coffee was available in the guest area on the ground floor.

A supermarket around the corner would have been convenient but you can't have everything but in saying that, shops and facilities were not that far away.

Easy to find from the station, although therefore quite a walk (or short bus ride) from the city centre. Clean and comfortable room and quiet overnight. Good buffet breakfast.

When I plugged my UK/EU adaptor into the socket all the lights and power in mine and the adjacent rooms went off! (This could well be a fault with the adaptor of course, but although it was quickly out right I wasn’t offered any alternative way of recharging my phone or hearing aids). The lift was out of service and from the condition of the notice this appeared to have been the case for some time.
