The location is a walking distance from a lot of bus, train and tram stations. The staff was very helpful and kind. The room was clean and fresh.

The bed was shaky and the room was on the ground floor on the corner of the street so we had a lot of noise disturbance at night which affected sleep. But the shutters helped dampen the noise a little. The other rooms on the ground floor didn't have the issue because it was facing only one side of the street.

Pension Absolut was a perfect place to stay for our time in Berlin. Located in a quiet area, access was gained to it with a PIN code. A big room with a double bed, small table and chairs. Along with that was a seperate bathroom that was well set out. Outside the entry in the hall way was a communal kitchen with fridge that was a bonus. Easy walking distance to all transport facilities, restaurants and other attractions.

Well located! Plus the room in itself was really lovely. The staff & host is very nice and helpful, the neighbourhood was exactly what we were looking for! It's a very nice location for Berlin if you're looking for cute cafes, trendy/hipstery shops & restaurants! The room was very cozy and cleaned everyday! Very easy to access as well!

The only LITTLE thing that could be said is that the double bed wasn't very comfortable. It squeaked quite a bit and it was sometimes a little bit hard to sleep on.

A lovely, well designed accommodation with very nice and helpful staff in a really good neighborhood walking distance to plenty of eateries and lots of public transport options. Appreciated the communal kitchen for making tea at night. all rooms on ground floor but there are good window shutters for night and light curtains for day and good windows so we heard very little from the street. I would definitely stay again.

staff is on site only until 1pm so if you have a late flight and want to store luggage you can’t leave it here but there’s the U-Bhf Gesundbrunnen with 24 hour lockers and an easy ten minute tram ride from the pension. be sure to have coins as it doesn’t take bills or cards. That’s not a complaint; just an FYI. no complaints!

Staff is great, and self check-in instructions are also clear. The place is super clean, nicely maintained and crisp. The washroom is well cleaned.

You can literally hear other people having sex. There is no sound proofing at all. The kitchen has a lot of stuff but I missed an induction or stove. Only a microwave. The location is nowhere near the centre. But if you have pass for public transport, works well

Great location, not far from Ubahn station and shops. Really easy access to building and room. Clean, big and nicely decorated room with great shower.

It was a bit chilly in the room the first night so instructions or timer system for the heaters would have been helpful. We were really happy with our choice for a weekend away regardless!

The bed was incredibly soft and comfy! The bathrooms were shared with other guests however it was very clean and tidy. The location was fantastic. We used the trains to get around and it was very easy to get to the city center. Cafes close by and delicious restaurants too.

An improvement suggestion would be to add more cubby space in the bathroom so you can comfortably stowe your toiletries during a shower. But other than that it was phenomenal!

Spacious, clean and silent room (towards courtyard). Never any queue to the common bathrooms (also spacious and clean). Good to have access to a small kitchen for some light meals. Friendly staff. Nice neighbourhood with good communications.

The room was clean and comfy. Newly furbished, renovated bathroom interiors.

The walls are thin and you could hear people walking upstairs at night or in the hallway in the morning. The building is a bit old, so if you didn't run the shower for half of the day, it was a bit smelly. Comes from the old plumbing and cannot easily be avoided in older buildings like this in my experience.

Major reason for choosing the hotel is the location. It is just across the street from people we are visiting. It is very quiet (having a room to the back) and a good firm bed

Although the bed is very good it is squeezed in so it is very tight around it. You need to be in pretty good shape to jump in and out of it. The fan in the bathroom is very noisy and continue quite a long time after turning it off.
