Really good location - near Kudam (10 mins max) and also Savyngplatz station in 5 minutes by walk. The room is old, but very cleasn and ceiling so high, I really enjoyed being there.

The shower is really uncomfortable. The curtain is not convenient and too short for shower and water after my shower water was EVERYWHERE on the floor. The cleaner also took away towel for floor, so I tried my best to clean it up as much as possible.

A decent place for an overnight stay. Has all the essentials in place, good lighting, warm, comfortable beds, towels, clean shower/WC and an optional breakfast. The person at reception was polite and the check-in checkout process smooth

WIFI is non existent. I did not expect this from a mid range hotel in Germany where they simply ignore WIFI requirements. I was asked to connect to an open network with hardly an reception in my room. I ended up using my mobile internet and paying for the an internet pack on the mobile network. The hotel should seriously think about investing in a good modem and a WIFI range extender, a small price for such a review. Would be nice to get 1/2 empty glasses in the room.

This is a beautiful place to stay in a great part of Berlin. If you do not like generic chain hotels, this is the place for you. The staff is friendly, the dining area nice and well laid out. There is a great courtyard out back to quietly enjoy breakfast or just have a drink outside. The room was extraordinary. Large and beautiful. The hotel is in a vintage building with the high ceilings and details have been retained from the buildings original glory. It is also safe as, at least for my room, there were three locked doors needed before I reached my room. My only comment is this is a place for people who want to stay in the middle of a vibrant city. Meaning that it is on a popular street with an active night life. The windows are well insulated if you need to close them (I never did) . There are so many bars and restaurants just a minute or two away. There is also a train station that has multiple S Bahn lines. This means your walk from your trip is short. To summarise, the next time I am staying in Berlin, I will be staying here!

All the stuff was super friendly and helpful! I was met with a smile and all the questions were answered. Location is very good! 10 min to train, buses, Zoo (which is huge and interesting inside) and the park (if you walk through it, it takes 45-50 min to Branderburg Gates). I had single room with a garden view and it was quite enough place for one person, bed was comfortable. I didn’t see hairdryer in the room (was too tired to find it), but it was no problem to ask about the one on reception. Noise cancellation is good, I heard nothing from other rooms. Breakfast was pretty good, nothing special, but enough not to be hungry.

The location is amazing, very close to a place that seals typical food that is AMAZING. The pension was perfect for us, we just spent one night since we attended to a concert nearby. We chose the room with a bathroom outside, and we did not have any problems, since the bathroom was directly in front of our room, and it was private (we have a key).

The bathroom did not have any ventilation and got some humidity smell after showering and the wooden floor was a little bit noisy. However, nothing that bothers us too much!.

The staff were welcoming and helpful particularly Johanna. My room was very big with a high ceiling and a nice private en suite and TV the bed was very comfortable. This hotel is very close to buses and the S bahn train station so it made getting around Berlin very easy. I love the huge( but very heavy) front door and the grand looking stair case Breakfast was varied fresh and plentiful

A little noisy as the floor boards are creaky so I could hear each time the residents above me walked across their room but I am a light sleeper it may not wake others.

The location was amazing. It was 3 to 5 minutes to the train station. It was also a very decent and safe part of the city, so we were very comfortable. I loved the building and the room. The building was old and authentic, the room was very large and had a very high ceiling. even though there is no AC we had pretty comfortable nights, When you open the windows you feel a very breezy weather. thank you for this experience!

if the room had a little fridge it would be nice

The location is hard to beat. very well connected be it by his, the S Bahn or even walking from the Zoo Station, the area is brimming with local life and flavors, while still feeling very local, not touristy.

A lift would be more than welcome when one is traveling with bags. mine weren’t particularly heavy, but I’m coming from a rather intense week of touring… so did feel it. Also, I specifically asked the front desk to remove any feather or down pillows. They said they had, but hadn’t. It wasn’t until later that they came round to check if what I was saying was true that they found out that they hadn’t really checked correctly.

it was spacious and comfortable. It was in a good location for attractions, transport, restaurants and shopping. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room we had slept 3 comfortably. There we’re plenty of towels. It was quiet and warm. There was a breakfast (for a fee) if you wanted it. They gave us complimentary coffee on arrival.

There was no lift. But we were fit enough. So nothing really.

The location is great, in Charlottenburg next to Savigny Platz. There are many varied restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood. Just a few steps from the S-Bahn station that brings you anywhere (S3, S5, S7, S9). The room was adequate. It is refreshed by a cleaning person every day. The breakfast/service area is bright and spacious. The breakfast itself is typical for Germany: bread rolls, cold cuts, cheese, eggs, yoghurt, müsli, honey, etc. Nothing fancy or exceptional, but everything is fresh. The bread they get is very good. The people who run the pension are particularly friendly and helpful, and accommodating. I arrived much later than planned because of flight problems, and they left my room key at the bar next door for me to pick up any time when I arrived. That was very nice of them and made my otherwise stressful arrival in Germany much more pleasant. That bar also serves good food until late in the night, which is convenient.

The bathroom is small but sufficient. The shower is extremely small, and its curtain is arranged in a strange way (attached from the centre) that makes it almost useless, so water splashes all around when taking a shower. I heard a bit when people walked and talked in the corridor outside my room. It’s an old building. But my neighbours were generally quiet. My room’s windows gave on the inner court, so I also heard some hustle from the court in the morning, nothing dramatic. The electrical outlets are located in somewhat awkward places. The bed’s foam mattress could be changed or rotated. It was soft and leaning toward one side. But it was very clean.
