As my trip was last minute there were no dorm rooms left so I ended up booking a private room. The room was very big and spacious with an optimal bathroom. Close to U-bahn stops that connect you around Berlin well. Even with the bar below it wasn't too loud. Decent restaurants and cafes around which was a huge plus.
For a private room in a hostel, it was on the pricier side however this was the most affordable when booking last minute. There's not much going on socially to allow you to meet other people, but also during the time I was there, there was a massive cohort of teenagers that were being obnoxiously loud in the seating area.

We loved the hotel’s location, so close to central Berlin that almost everything is within walking distance. There’s also a tram and metro right next to the hotel. Being situated in a courtyard made it very quiet at night. Upon arrival, we used the free luggage storage service from 8 AM, which was very convenient for checking in later in the afternoon. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel’s facilities, despite it being a youth hostel. There’s a bar where the staff can make cocktails, serve beers, and provide snacks. The breakfast was excellent, with a lot of variety, including vegetarian options. The common area next to the reception is great, with comfy chairs and a spot full of recommendations for activities in Berlin. There’s even a pool table! Our double room was very spacious. We expected a small room typical of hostels, but it was comparable to a standard hotel. The bathroom was small but functional and very clean. There’s even a smart TV with Netflix, which is impressive for a hostel. Finally, the entire hotel is very clean and well-organized. The afternoon staff were lovely (special shoutout to Giulia and her Italian colleague!) and helped us a lot during our stay. Thank you again!
We found the morning staff, especially a girl with glasses, to be quite unpleasant and unwilling to speak English with us. For example, the breakfast offers coffee specials and scrambled eggs for an extra charge, but without any explanation, she refused to make them for us, even though we asked within the designated hours. Additionally, the soundproofing of the rooms was poor, and we could hear people in the hallway, especially those returning at 1 AM and shouting without considering those who were sleeping… but those small details are nothing compared to the quality of our stay!

I had modified expectations for our stay, given that this is a "hostel". I assumed the rooms would be miniscule and only just "ok". The bed was excellent (if you like a firm bed... if not, you're in trouble!), the shower was fantastic, everything was impeccably clean. We slept with the windows open and the fan going every night, which we were nervous of initially given the city location. We weren't disturbed by any noise at night, either from within the hostel or outside. I also didn't realize that breakfast was included with the rate, so that was a happy discovery! Honestly, this was the sixth and last place that we stayed in on our three weeks away, and it was honestly one of the best. No notes.
We didn't realize that we booked on the weekend of the Berlin Marathon, so that explained why the rate was a bit higher than I would have expected for a hostel. It was on par with the other hotels that we booked throughout Germany. But given the action in the city that weekend, the price made sense once we got there. And it was worth every penny.

I loved the room, the space, my confortable bed, the many options for toilets and showers (hot water). I loved the garden and the other outside area for after 10 pm. I haven't had breakfast in the hostel but it looked really good. The stuff is amazing and will help you with any question. There is a lot of space in the common shared area and you can play tabel temnnis. The location is the best. So close to the center but still so quiet for a huge city. There is metro close by. You habe a lot of supermarkets, cafe's and parks around. I loved my stay!
The room door was a bit noisy when you slip it and let it close by itself. But if you are careful about other guest you can hold on to the door and but it more soft into the lock.

Good room size with comfy private bathroom, nice staff and an amazing breakfast. Its near to a subway station so its easy to move around the city.
Quite hot rooms, no air conditioner with a lot of outside noise from other hostels at night. So leave the window open was not so much of a choice.

Located in what seems to be a charming industrial area, the spacious reception area is staffed by a friendly and informative team. The breakfast is served buffet style, where you help yourself to what you want and pay a standard fee, although the fancier coffees cost more. There is also a free water fountain. My dorimitory was clean and held 6 men well enough, and the bathroom and WC were clean too. The lockers are secured using the keycard you receive at check-in, which you also use to enter your dorm. I'd happily stay here again.
There was nothing to dislike. This is a well-run hostel, with helpful staff that went the extra mile, even after I checked out of the hostel, by holding onto my luggage while I explored the city before leaving.

The place is great, is a repourposed old building and has an amazing vibe. Personel were suepr nice and fun. The restrooms and showers are in good shape and clean. Rooms are also clean and ok. Be matresses are a little on the thin side but still comfortable enought and the lockers for your stuff works with your room key. Also just outside you have a nice food market with amazing hamburguers, ramen and tacos and the location is close to the center, you can even walk to the museum island if you want.
Is not that i didnt like it, but beds could be a little more comfortable, but for the price range are good enough.

The reception guy was super friendly and helpful. The room and the ensuite bathroom were clean. Free drinking water is such a nice touch. A lot of space and options on the ground floor to relax after your day or play some games or whatever. You can store your bag and go walking
The bed sheet had a stain on it, the light by my bed did not work, the pillow was not comfortable for me. The common ladies bathroom on the 1st floor was not very clean. The beds are very squeaky - whenever someone moves even slightly it makes a lot of noise. I would add more hangers in the ensuite bathroom.

What to say? So many good things! At first, the building, the decoration, the staff, the common areas, the breakfast, the location. All of them are excellent. The staff has a plus, I had all kind of help that I needed. The garden is stunning, the breakfast is very good for those with diet restrictions. Go ahed and you’re not going to regret. The wifi connection works well.
The buildings in Berlin are protected to keep inside warm, have this in mind when visiting the city during the summer.

The location is excellent, and it is easy to walk to the most popular places for tourists from here. The neighbourhood is very calm and the staff is super helpful. The room was clean and tidy, it was very easy to check in and check out. And they allowed me to leave my backpack after check out which was very very helpful. The bed was very comfortable! I highly recommend staying here, the price is very good and the location is perfect for tourists.
Nothing, everything was perfect.
