The hotel had great reviews but I was nervous about the location, seeming off the main track. Instead, the hotel is perfectly placed, just a block from main streets, so it was quiet but just a minute from food and liveliness. The staff was extremely friendly, and helped with our broken German language :) The hotel was clean and smelled nice :)

The bathroom has a see-through glass door. While some may not have privacy concerns with their immediate family, I prefer a door that cannot be seen or heard through.

Düsseldorf is a very industrial and in my opinion not a nice city for turists. However, if you have to go there, this hotel is very nice! In a older, more charming building, this was nice to see after walking through the city from the train station. Very nice room, pleasant staff and good breakfast where they cook omelettes personally for you. The staff didn’t know much English, but was very understanding of the little German I managed to stutter. The rooms have a book with information about anything you might have questions about, which was really nice. They also provide toothbrush, nail kit, sewing kit and more in the room.

For the hotel room you get a heavy key instead of a key card, which is the only negative I could think of.

Delicious perfectly small breakfast. Very cute hotel with personal service and great location . Rooms were small but tastefully done and recently renovated.

Hotel stylish. clean and modern located in a quiet, charming area. Staff very friendly and on the front desk 24hr. Breakfast simple but good - eggs cooked to order, cheeses, meats, bread etc. Conveniently located close to the riverfront and the 'old town'. Bathroom clean and modern and good shower with plenty of hot water.

No air conditioning, although a powerful fan was available in the room which helped me to sleep in the very hot weather. Due to the hotel location there is no on-site parking (although drop-off is available). The closest park is the Altstadt underground which is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The parking day rates are quite expensive (€36 in 2022).

Great location, walking distance to Altstadt but w/o noisy restaurants close-by. Perfectly adopted/renovated premises for the use as a hotel.

Little minus, shower size of 80x80cm is not state-of-the-art for this room price level - BUT there is a solution for the next round of refurbishment: Make the closet smaller and the bathroom larger. Such a spacious closet for short-stay travellers is luxury and a waste of space.

Hotel is first of all extremely clean and the fact that they don't allow pets makes a big difference. Very good breakfast buffet with personal touch gives you a good start of the day. Hotel is situated in a quiet, secluded and secure area but you are still within 500 meters to all the nicest restaurants / Hausbrauerei's and 800 meters to the KÖ Galerie.

Beds/pillows are a bit too soft, at least for me.

The breakfast was exceptional and the staff was outstanding. This hotel was beautiful, clean, and in a perfect location. The owner was kind friendly and hardworking. The front desk person recommended a restaurant fir dinner and it was excellent. She was there for dinner also and stopped by our table to set hello. Fantastic shower and comfortable beds!

Nothing it was perfect!

Orangerie is the authentic hotel you don't find anymore these days. The management is perfectly efficient, yet extremely sympathic. Just a few steps away from Carlplatz and its market, the old town and the Rhein, in a super quiet pedestrian street. From the bedding to the room temperature, the towel softness to the toiletries, the furnitures to the decoration, everything is carefully prepared to receive guests.

Location Is in the center of town yet in a very quite spot (no street noise). 1 minute walk to the AlteStadt and half a minute walk to the river promenade ...The Ladies team operating the hotel was warm and helpful all the time. The room was upgraded recently especially the roomy bathroom. Breakfast was rich full of varieties, the coffee was excellent ... I love this hotel

Couldnt see anything negative

I was delighted by this facility and the people working there! The Paul Klee room was cozy and extremely clean. Breakfast was spectacular, with a lot of choices to choose from. One of the best staying I've experienced. A special thanks to the staff who was so kind to offer me a cappuccino at 4AM as I had an early flight. Much appreciation! I'll definitely come back here if in town again and recommend the hotel for sure!
