Everything. The kitchen is well stocked with a coffee machine, stove, fridge, electric water boiler and all kinds of dishes to eat with. The bathrooms are super c;lean and comfortable and there is automatic LED lighting turning on at night as you walk from your room to the bathroom or kitchen. The hostel is environmentally conscious with many green policies and recycling boxes. The staff are all warm, caring and knowledgeable. The owner Carmen is the most wonderful person so welcoming and helpful you can ever meet on this Earth.

I don't know where to start. Place was absolutely very clear. Workers/owners were super nice, you cannot believe. Kitchen tools and everything were fantastic. They have a coffee machine, it blends directly from coffee beans and it's totally free. They labeled everything, which is super helpful. And the location... Location is literally perfect: Not too much noise but you can be in the real center in 5 minutes by walking. Absolutely perfect, I will definitely come here again.

The hostel is conveniently located in the old town, close to most of the tourist attractions. The room was spacious and quiet, and all facilities were clean and well maintained. It has a nicely decorated common room for people to hang out and relax, and a small kitchen with amenities including a free espresso machine and milk. The staff, Carmen, was very nice, friendly and helpful, always wearing a warm and welcoming smile. She seems to be on duty from early in the morning until late in the afternoon, so guests can rest assured there is someone to help if needed. Overall, it was a wonderful stay in the beautiful city of Heidelberg!

THE BEST location! Super friendly people. Cereal 24/7 was amazing! And oat milk for a non dairy person was a happy surprise! Kitchen/common area great. I was shocked to hear that they wash up for you! You just leave dirty plates in the tub and they put in the dishwasher. Meant all the cutlery was super clean. Small supermarket just around the corner so perfect to make some fried eggs in the morning. Getting to cook and not clean was a treat! Female dorm was very quiet, comfortable bed and lots of space. Stayed 3 nights and had an amazing stay!
Busses were hard to navigate from train station as there are lots of bus/teams stops, very confusing. After an hour ended up having to get a taxi. But going from hostel bus stop is right outside so very easy to go anywhere!

Great and kind service, they provide you with a city map and think along. Also the hostel is creatively decorated (and in some places even has interactive decoration...) and there's a cute living room with books, board games and guitars. The kitchen provides you with several types of cornflakes and milk. The hostel is clean and there's good hygiene. The surrounding location is even more beautiful in life. The bed's are quite good. There's free coffee or tea. Also there's a seperate bathroom for women. Free shampoo/douchegel. They are environment-oriented.
The hostel's isolation is not the greatest probably as it's an old building. Now the dorm noise is part of what you pay for, but if people were smoking outside of the hostel or talking it could keep you awake at night. Especially if they were standing there for a long time, it was really loud like they were in the room. Also if people in the (living room?) were loud at night, you could hear it in the dorm. But this is minor compared to all the +'s this hostel provides, would definitely go again.

Perfect hostel!! Hostess, Carmen, is really friendly. When I first came, she introduced the environment in details, and carried my luggage for me(even my room was in the ground floor) The living room and kitchen are small but cozy and lovely. Since the hostel is not big, everyone is easy to meet each other in the living room or kitchen. I just made some new friends and hanged out with them on the second day. Location is also perfect. 10 min by bus from Heidelberg central station. And the hostel is located below the castle and near the old bridge.

This hostel might be small and somewhat aged, but it's been lovingly maintained and adorned with an extraordinary sense of style and enthusiasm, resulting in a wonderfully snug and welcoming atmosphere. The staff members are fantastic and consistently friendly, always attentive to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. The hostel effortlessly provides all the amenities one could hope for. The rooms are pleasantly spacious without feeling overcrowded, featuring in-room lockers for your belongings. The beds are fairly comfortable, and the cleanliness of the toilets and showers is impeccable. even the pleasant demeanor of other fellow guests, who seem to understand the importance of maintaining a peaceful ambiance, further adds to the hostel's positive vibe. It's safe to say that this harmonious atmosphere is largely due to the hostel's unique character built by passion and care.
Watch out as the hostel is very nice and comfy, you may want to stay inside and lose the beauties of Heidelberg! :) just kidding! there is nothing bad about this hostel.

This is a very good hostel that very much keeps the backpacker vibe alive. Unlike the large fleshed out gigantic hostels with little atmosphere it is small and cozy while still having everything you need, and still kept tidy and professional. There is a nice living room/common area, a well equipped kitchen, free breakfast cereals even. There is a shed where you can lock your bike for the night. Dorm rooms are comfy enough and spacious. The staff are friendly and so are the other guests. Toilets and showers are clean. Location is right in the oldtown, and a 5 minute walk from the Altstadt station.
A few small downsides I found are that the showers didn't drain well even when there were no visible stuff blocking the drain, and the number of toilets felt a bit low. Also the lockers are sometimes a bit loud. Despite that it didn't really hamper the experience.

The location cannot be better. This is quite literally the best-placed building in the entire town, 1 minute from the center and 5 minutes from the castle entrance, right next to the bus stop and the funicular station. The staff was very kind and attentive, and they also did their best to keep the place clean. We liked the kitchen too and the common space next to it. We definitely recommend staying here to anyone spending a weekend in Heidelberg.
When we arrived, a kind member of staff took us to our room. The moment we opened the door, the most putrid sour smell of sweat hit us in the face as a gentleman was just standing up from the floor, where he had apparently used his towel as an exercise mat. He then crawled into bed (in clothes, sweaty as he was), and despite it was obvious that he had no intention to shower or care about the smell in any way, the member of staff appeared to overlook this issue. We took this as an obvious sign that this wouldn't be solved even if we complained. We agree that the staff cannot control guests' manners but since 6 people share a room, there should be minimum standards in place to prevent such antisocial behaviour.

I liked the bed, is like getting a back massage laying on it when resting ang sleeping, just wonderful. The coffee machine is great, the whole beans are ground when you want a cup to order and the coffee tastes good. The entire property is spotless result of staff relentless and thorough cleaning, especially the bathrooms and kitchen.
