The room was really beautifully furnished with a lot of attention to detail and great taste. It was also very comfortable, extremely clean and very cosy. It was beautiful to see how carefully they treated the existing structure in the renovation. The location is also great as it is in the middle of the old town of Lindau with a nice view over the square. The breakfast was also very delicious with plenty of choices and a cozy breakfast room.

Unfortunately, in our room we could hear a constant buzzing of a fan or ventilation shaft, that we couldn't turn off as it must have been coming from the central installation system. Otherwise, the room and location was very quiet.

Historical charm and modern amenities. The hotel has decorated with frames of the old thatched roof from the original structure. Delicious breakfast spread and very helpful staff!

the shower was a little confusing to use. They tried to help us but the language barrier was hard to bridge.

We stayed in the apartment over looking the lake which we absolutely loved. Extremely spacious with plenty of living space over 2 floors in addition to the bedroom and 2 bath/shower rooms! With 2 balconies/terrace areas this really was a superb spot to enjoy Lindau. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend the Adara , a true boutique hotel with quality and stylish design in abundance.

Sadly no air conditioning is available in the apartment but Dyson fans were on hand given the extremely hot weather conditions.

The shower over the bath could have used a fixture to hold it up.

We have stayed all over the world and this very well may be the nicest experience we have ever had, the beds, the fixtures, the design, the location, the staff, the breakfast, the added touches were amazing!!!!! Best place we stayed while in Europe without a doubt and the only comfortable beds! Can't go wrong with this place! Amazing!

If I had to be picky, they went overboard with the electronics, the switches were tricky to figure out at first, how to control the lights but the heated bathroom floors made up for it!

The Hotel ist located in a very old building. The unique rooms include many historic details like walls, wood, floors, windows. However renovated this building did it very carefully and with respect of the past. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The rooms are clean, everything is working and properly maintained. Truly an amazing place to spend some time in Lindau.

The bed in room 4 was a bit small. :-)

because of central location can get a bit noisy early morning with delivery vans etc but small price to pay for such a nice hotel

The rooms are beautifully decorated and designed. Everything was of a high quality. The breakfast, in the beautiful dining room, was excellent with both a buffet and cooked-to-order options. Pascal was very helpful directing us to a good restaurant for dinner. The location is ideal being within walking distance of the harbour and many of the attractions in Lilndau. We would certainly love to go back again for a longer stay.

We had some friends stay here back in 2019 while we stayed at another place and decided to stay here is December. We convenient for dropping off luggage and the main parking garage outside the walls is maybe five minutes away walking. Since Lindau is a small island, all the hotels are nicely located for walking around but the fact that you don't have to drag your luggage around is nice. Staff was friendly. Room was quiet. Breakfast was good but not great. Could have used some eggs maybe or more different meats. Room was clean and the shower was very nice.

I didn't really like the way you turn on/off lights and control the sky-light through the all-in-one system on the wall. The receptionist explained it but unless she's actually showing it to you, it's not all that easy because there aren't any words just symbols and I'm not sure who made the symbols but they don't really match what they control. Could never get the sky-light window to open once I closed it. Nothing I did made it work. There are stairs. There is an elevator but for the last floor you still have to use stairs. The room had lots of hanging things and sticking out things that would be easy to run into in the dark.

Hotel ambiance was very lovely. The restoration of this historic building was very well done. Breakfast buffet was nicely presented and had a good choice of selections. Hotel was easy accessible and also a lift to bring luggage up. Staff was very friendly and informative about early dinner reservation and things to do. We also received a delicious jar of strawberry jam at our departure. Little bottle of Prosecco and water have been complimentary in the room as well. Hotel was connected with an independent restaurant ( KARRisma) and we had one of our best meals during our trip there. 5 Course Truffle dinner for 125 euros per person plus wine. It was fabulous and definitely worth it.

Our room was a little noisy at night. Mostly from people walking and talking. So our earplugs worked pretty well. I wish the room fridge would have been a little more stocked with wine and snacks. One night, we didn't feel for going out and would have loved just a nice glass of wine and a snack but the restaurant KARRisma was to our surprise closed. Not a big deal but "Hey "you know what's like to put cloth on after lying with your PJ's on a rainy day on the couch.
