The staff at the Hotel went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. The hotel is perfectly located right on the main pedestrian area which is full of shops and cafe's. Also just a short walk from the beautiful Lindau Harbour. The room was big with an excellent bathroom.

As in all these historic old buildings, there was no air conditioning and the weather was hot. Fortunately, We were given two fans which did help a lot.

Good service, we arrived late and were in need of parking. Staff called to tell us what to do and made things easier for us. Breakfast was excellent. Location in the pedestrian part of town was great for reaching everywhere on this beautiful small island. Room is Euro sized, so was compact. But there is enough space for everything.

Being so close to a pedestrian thoroughfare, you can hear the odd conversation late at night through the window as people file home. We would have liked a kettle to make some tea, but there wasn't one in the room when we arrived late. i expect if we arrived earlier and requested, the staff would have provided one.

A mid-century hotel in a great, central location on Lindau-Island, with a stylish touch, helpful staff and a nice breakfast buffet. They took COVID safety serious, and the manager also made arrangements for unexpected late arrival due to train strike disruption. I felt safe and happy, would be happy to stay there again.

Single rooms have quite narrow single beds, rather typical for Germany, when 110-120 cm wide would be more comfortable and more in keeping with international standards. There is no lounge area, so definitely a place to stay and explore the area from

Close to railway station and town centre(its in the town centre). Comfortable bedroom with a good view, from the top floor. Good Breakfast and friendly staff.

Nothing, it was as expected, would have liked a kettle but knew there wasn’t one before we arrived. Did have a fridge.

The room was very hot so unfortunately it was very difficult to sleep (only a small ventilator available which didn't help much). It was a nice and hot summer day, but those are not that rare in Lindau so investing in an a/c would be recommended. Valid during covid regulations: the breakfast was buffet style in 30 min time slots, which felt a bit rushed and caused the buffet table to be crowded in the beginning of the slot. The staff did their best to keep up, but maybe a pre-order breakfast to the table would be more stress-free in this situation...

Brilliant location, quiet and spacious. Nice breakfast. Staff very helpful with bike parking even when I arrived after hours.

Room was very warm and the tiny fan provided was loud. Staff forgot to give me the key code to the hotel, so when I arrived in the rain, had to wait outside called them to be let in. Little expensive, but not too bad. Otherwise a lovely stay.

This is a real gem of a small and friendly hotel in a great location with everything in town within minutes walk. Staff were super friendly and breakfast was sufficient with fresh produce. Room was large and nicely furnished as was the bathroom.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was confortable and clean. The location was perfect as you are right in the middle of the island few minutes away from the arbour. The breakfast was also really good. I have been in Lindau a few times, stayed in different hotels and I highly recommend the Insel Hotel.

Very good central location. The host is probably the friendliest you will ever find, and nothing is too much trouble. The Hotel parking is a few 100 yds away, and perfectly safe.

Nothing really to say. There is nothing to dislike about it.

All staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is modern and clean, not very samll. The location is top, you can access amazing landviews in few minutes. The Lindau insel is incredible place, must visit.

Breakfast is little simple, but the service is top.
