Located right in the old part of Linda’s. Easy walking distance from everything. Very attentive staff.

Ts not that I didn’t like it or there is anything the staff can do but I think people would like to know and understand. Building is very old (which we loved) but that comes with issues of steep stairs (there is a small elevator). Smaller rooms but we didn’t come to stay in the room. As it’s in the old part of a very old town it is almost inaccessible by vehicle and parking is offsite at a cost. But I believe this is the state for any hotel on the island.

We had a three night stay. The hotel was in the middle of the island, a 5 minute walk to the harbour. Room was large enough for 2 of us, clean and located on the front of the hotel above the breakfast room. Large bathroom with a great shower.

Remember to book the next day's breakfast before 2000hrs to ensure it is prepared for the next day. Not really the Hotel's fault I suppose: We had the windows open at night to cool the room, the noise from guests sitting outside the hotel 2 doors down kept us awake each night until 0200 and then because you are in Germany there were the church bells every 15 minutes.

Very cosy, exactly how you'd imagine a hotel on a beautiful little island in Germany to look. Nice breakfast, great location. Useful to have a lift as we were on the top floor and my legs didn't work after the 3 country marathon. Also had a nice balcony on the top.

restaurant downstairs was a little expensive.

Beautiful hotel in the perfect location! The breakfast was delicious and they had a table set up for us every morning which was delightful. We ate at the restaurant for lunch as well and it was superb- highly recommend. We could easily walk around the island from the hotel. Would definitely stay again.

Historic, authentic yet clean, renovated bright, cozy rooms. Very helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast. Amazing location!

Rooms are on the smaller side, maybe for longer stay it would be not perfectly comfortable. But for a weekend gateway they are perfect!

The location of the hotel is right in the city center. It is walkable to the port, shopping street, and Lindau-Insel train station. We were warmly welcomed by friendly staffs who showed us to our room. Moreover, after checking in, we even got a welcome drink to kick start our tour day. The hotel's main structure is made from wood, therefore walking on each floor will creak, but I have no complaints about that. It is very authentic and real. I love how they took care of and preserve the building so well. At night, you can also walk down to the first floor to get yourself a cup or two of tea for free. The breakfast was amazing! Due to the COVID situation, we have to pre-order breakfast via paper, and food was served at the table. I actually like this method more than the buffet style :) We had dinner at our hotel and the food was delicious. They have a variety of wines and beers for you to pick, but the best part is that they have fresh beer from the barrels so how more amazing can it get? Definitely a very cozy and satisfying stay for us here - highly recommended!

We loved the location and the design and atmosphere of the hotel. The receptionist was very friendly on arrival and we really enjoyed our welcome drink on the hotel terrace, which has a wonderful view. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and spacious. The shower was great. The breakfast room was very cute and cozy and our breakfast was delicious.

We would have liked to have more coffee with our breakfast - we were only able to have a small cup. Maybe a serve-yourself coffee machine might be a good addition, or else provide a full cafetiere with the breakfast.

Location. Breakfast was excepcional and place too. Welcoming drinks. Checkin is upstairs but it has an elevator. Close to a quick parking for unloading, and over night parking, both with chargers.

No AC, but we expected that. Very small room and bathroom.

Beautiful old building at a superb location. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I was informed that the room is small but in fact it is so tiny that the access to the double bed was from one side only. The bath room was very narrow. Luckily we both are quite slim otherwise it would be difficult to get to the shower :-). People should be warned about that! As well as how to find the way to the hotel by car. There was no problem with parking nearby but normally you need to drop your luggage first.

Stayed before and is still as good. Historic building in old town centre about 5 minutes walk from Insel station and boat pier/ harbour. Full of character converted upper floors with modern clean rooms and preserved cosy lower breakfast/restaurant rooms. Very welcoming family run establishment, welcome drink and made sure we could get a table for evening meal. Very good food and substantial breakfast ( preordered )
