I booked this hotel for one night before my flight on the second day. The location is perfect. It takes only 2 minutes from my room to the platform for the train. And another 10 minutes you are at the airport. Very close to the hotel there are many restaurants. Hotel itself has a very good one too. Though close to both the airport and train station, my room was very quiet. The girl at the reception is very friendly and check in process was straightforward. The room itself is old but clean. quite spacious for me alone.

The cleaning lady forgot to fill the minibar. I had to report to the receptionist to avoid confusion at checkout. And I did need to clarify it again at checkout. But no extra problem.

The staff was terrific (Sarah in particular) as was the location to the DB station. It is seriously less than one minute from the station...and the trains did not bother us at all. And 15 minutes (2 stops) to the MUC terminal via the S1 so it is a great place to stay before a morning flight. We thoroughly enjoyed the beer garden...so much that we just had dinner in the garden as well (try the Currywurst & fries). Breakfast was terrific. Our room was fairly unpretentious but plenty of space and was very clean. It also has an elevator which we greatly appreciated. The owner (who also doubles as a chef) came out while we were eating to see how we were enjoying it. We didn't particularly understand each other that well but we appreciated that she took the time. She also bid us a farewell on our departure. Nice touch.

Rooms were a little dated and the beds were a bit soft for me (but that varies person to person). I would suggest adding shower gel and shampoo dispensers in the showers - we had tiny soap bars and packets of shampoo which were fine. But dispensers would raise the appearance level of the bathroom.

The hotel is very well situated right next to the train station. The rooms are well insulated and there was no noise heard from the trains. The room was lovely, very clean and a good size. It was a traditional however the bathroom was modern. The breakfasts were very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very good and there are shops, cafes and other restaurants in very close walking distance. There is a car park which always had spaces. I’d certainly stay again.

Nothing I didn’t like. Tea and coffee making facilities would be a welcome addition.

The property is at 16 km drive of the Munich airport and just in front of a train station connecting it to the airport and to the city center. This is a small family business well managed, with care for clients. The rooms are large, quiet and clean. There is a lift; the wifi worked very well and the breakfast was fantastic - with many options and very generous.

Our room was the last one on its floor, close to the elevator, and had more than an outside wall, therefore it was quite cold inside, and the supplementary blankets very thin and light, rather for summer than for winter.

This is an ideal place to stay if you are flying to or from Munich. The hotel is about 50 metres from the S Bahn station giving easy access to the heart of the airport. We checked in and then returned our car to the airport coming back to the hotel by train and stayed a couple of nights in this family run hotel before flying home. It has has a good restaurant ,very popular with the locals and is a refreshing change from the usual impersonal airport chain hotels

The room was wonderful. I was there for an early morning flight. The S1 airport train is a short 2-minute walk from the hotel. I was only there one day and had an opportunity to eat dinner in the attached restaurant (very good) and explore the town a bit before I retired for the evening. Had a wonderful breakfast with fresh fruits and breads. There is a wonderful comfortable living room for the guests. However, I did not have a chance to use it.

Not sure but I think the walls were not too soundproofed. I think I heard conversations next door, but that did not bother me. Slept like a baby.

Very comfortable in a traditional surrounding. Also quiet considering the town’s train station is a stone’s throw away. Very happy with the welcome I received on arrival. Excellent list of breakfast items and the breakfast room staff were wonderful, full marks for their friendliness and assistance. The town also had a bit more going on than I expected with several restaurants a short walk away. Easy to Munich airport.

Never got to sample the hotel restaurant, it was understandably closed on my arrival date, Good Friday but was also closed on the Saturday, my second and final night. Any temporary changes to a hotel’s normal operations should be mentioned if possible during the booking process. Hotels such as these attract many airport stop over travellers and it could be very inconvenient for some with little time to make alternative eating arrangements.

It’s location next to the station with trains running frequently to the airport and Munich centre is the main reason we booked it. However its a great hotel with comfortable rooms and beds and a really nice bar and restaurant, although we went into Munich. We have stayed here twice now.

The lift is switched off at night and when you have a 6am train to catch to the airport with bags and ski gear on the 3rd floor this is a serious problem. The second visit was a relaxed 11am departure.

My second stay here, again as a convenient stop-over from nearby Munich airport. Easy to reach by local train. Very comfortable and quiet stay in a traditional surrounding. Staff again very pleasant.

I arrived at 20.45 to be told that the hotel's highly regarded restaurant would soon be closing; considerably earlier that the time indicated within the booking information. Its important to be accurate with this especially when many will consider it an important feature of a prospective stop-over selection.

imagine walking into a hotel for the first time after the plandemic hysteria and being called by name and personally welcomed by the family: what a warm feeling! The location is right off the S-bahn, a couple stops from the Airport. I was able to get immediate access to my room after a hellish flight, and sleep! The S-bahn goes to downtown every 20 minutes. Wonderful breakfast buffet, as always, and when I asked about the sausages I remembered from pre-Corona days, the supervisor asked what kind I’d like and within minutes they were delivered to me. This family business keeps up the old standards as well as they can, so I highly recommend giving them business. Monday is their “rest day” but the other days of the week, the kitchen provides great Bavarian food (& drink!!).

Alles war einwandfrei (ois super!)
