The location cannot be better…the Victoria is close to everything. We were also very happy with the park garage, the friendly staff, the cleanliness, the quiet and efficient air conditioning on a hot day, the elevator, and the lovely breakfast…with eggs to order, excellent coffee, and a very beautiful assortment of delicacies as well as “regular” breakfast buffet selections.

Our updated, renovated room in this older hotel was much smaller than we anticipated. It was well-appointed, but definitely sized for a day to be spent outside in the city. Not a bad thing exactly, but we did feel squeezed. We were also without hot water for probably 24 hours, due to a system breakdown. The staff was apologetic, and we understand things can “happen,” esp. in an older building, but, it’s hard to give a top rating when that happens, esp. after missing…or taking cold…showers.

Rooms were comfortable, quiet with double glazed windows and effective air conditioning. Breakfast was included in the tariff, was good, fresh with options for cooked eggs, variety of breads, spreads and cold collations as well. Hotel was well located for restaurants and bars, was 3 mins walk from the main train and bus stations, and 5-10 minutes walk from the centre of the old town. Staff were very helpful in giving tour or travel advice.

Being close to Main Train Station, there were a number of homeless and or drunk persons on the street nearby. Driving to the hotel itself was difficult due to pedestrian malls and various one way streets but the hotel had very good instructions on their website, and good directions to nearby parking; these work but only if followed precisely.

My husband and I spend Christmas at the Hotel Victoria. The room was clean and very comfortable. The location was a huge plus point. We did not use any form of public transport to get to the main attractions. They are all within walking distance and a short 2 mins walk to the main train station/tram as well if you need to get to a different town/city. The breakfast was tasty and had a nice variety. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely love to come back.

We stayed in five different properties in our three weeks in Germany, and this hotel wins, hands down, for our favourite place. And it just so happened that it was the first place we stayed, which is often the one people forget about! The room wasn't huge, but it was large enough for our needs. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Bathroom and shower was excellent. The location is fantastic! It's within the core area, but not right in the middle - it was quiet for sleeping at night. The breakfast was incredible. The ladies at breakfast were always gracious and accommodating. I didn't realize that breakfast was included with our stay, so to find out that it was, and that it was that exceptional was a fantastic treat! I would not hesitate to come back here again, and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Nuremburg!

I picked this property due to its proximity to Nurnberg Hauptbahnhof and its closeness to the Altstadt and it did not disappoint. Exceptionally friendly staff and a nicely designed hotel offering a good service. I thoroughly enjoyed the healthy and plentiful continental breakfast. Although given its central location that was a lot of city vibe going on (the noise from the bars and restaurants literally on the doorstep) it did not affect my enjoyment.

There was nothing I didn't like but rather a suggestion - add some reading materials to your room - perhaps local tourist magazine or design magazines and a little bit extra to the welcome tray.

Parking was easy and secure. We were in the center of the old city and near the museum and Frauentor and the main train station. The view was great. Restaurants in the area were convenient and good. The salads were the freshest we have had in three months. They must have been brought in hours prior to being served. The room was large and comfortable. Had a desk and chairs. Bed was comfortable. A/C adjustable and comfortable. Slept well. Shower easy to control. Breakfast was excellent. The staff was friendly, helpful and efficient.

From the moment we walked into the hotel we were greeted with such a warm and happy greeting from Moritz … He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, he answered all our questions we asked him in such a friendly and helpful manner and was always smiling and willing to please ! He is a credit to the hotel We booked an Attic room which had a lovely nite view over the Opera . The beds we extremely comfortable and the room and bathroom were lovely and extremely clean , the rooms looked new and the air con was amazing … there was nothing to fault . There was a great selection at breakfast and to the 2 lovely ladies Soreya and Babara that served us each morning, they too were so welcoming ,friendly and their service was impeccable .. If I could give this hotel a 20/10 I would ..it’s the best place to stay in Nuremberg Thankyou for such a lovely stay at your hotel .

We loved being inside the Old Town and the easy access to the public transportation, train station and easy walking access in the town and surrounding area. The staff was really helpful and pleasant. The added bonus was the breakfast and the numerous selections of food. We loved the little bowls of eggs and bacon that the staff served to our tables. We can’t say enough about how helpful and friendly the staff were with any of our requests.

Our room was on the smaller side but that really wasn’t a problem for us since it met all our needs. I really didn’t have a negative.

This was perhaps my 4th stay here. Great location, close to the station. Inside the wall, so easy to walk around town. Close to good restaurants and historical sites. The hotel were more than happy to look after my luggage while I was in meetings for the day, after I checked out. Breakfast is superb, plenty of choice and fresh each day.

I cannot fault this hotel.

Hotel Victoria excels on every level of service. From the staff upon arrival to the hosts at the lovely breakfast in the morning…everything done on the premises is stellar. The rooms are nice, well appointed and comfortable. The breakfast provided in an elegant setting is worth a stay by itself. Rarely is customer service given such a high priority…here it is the norm.
