We spent two weeks in Bavaria during the Christmas market season and this was one of my favorite hotels. I expected it to be the most "American" of all the hotels I booked, and it kinda, sorta was, but it far exceeded my expectations, as I rarely have the pleasure of staying in such a nice hotel in the U.S. The staff were over-the-top friendly and accommodating, the room was posh and had a great, spacious bathroom, the breakfasts were out of this world, and you couldn't have a better location to get into old town to see the markets, museums, and artisan shops. The hotel is on a very busy thoroughfare and there is constant traffic noise when the windows are open, but you wouldn't know it when they are closed. They seemed to have put a lot of effort into noise-proofing the rooms. Overall, it was such a nice stay that it was a bit of a disappointment to pack up and leave. I would happily stay there again.

I really can't think of any cons aside from the traffic outside, but that didn't affect my stay in the slightest due to the noise-proofed windows. This might have been the only hotel that didn't allow us to check in early, but I don't fault them for that, as they were completely booked (and they have no obligation to do so); however, they held our luggage for us in a safe place and our room was ready a few minutes before check-in. They were also willing to hold luggage after check-out so you could continue your sightseeing.

Park Plaza was a delightful experience overall, boasting a fantastic location that, in my opinion, is the best in the city. The staff at the reception were friendly and accommodating.

While the small details may not matter to everyone, they do make a difference to me. For instance, there was no umbrella in the room, and when I inquired about it, they asked for a 20 euros deposit. Furthermore, I missed having a notebook and a pen, which are usually standard amenities in 5-star hotels. Despite these minor drawbacks, I genuinely enjoyed my time at this hotel.

Great breakfast and very well located for touring inside the city. We employed a guide to assist us and this really added to our understanding of the location and history

Saturday night in the centre of the town close to a railway station it's always going to be a little bit of a challenge. The area around round the former moat was a little edgy with large gangs of youths and there are quite a number of tramps and other such people searching bins for food etc. This was a surprise given the family friendly nature of the central area. Yes London is similar, so for a big city then quite normal. Not the Hotel's fault but the City Fathers.

What a fantastic hotel! The staff were so warm and welcoming and the check-in process was very easy. They allowed us to store our luggage with them as we’d arrived before the check-in time which was very helpful. They also accommodated many of my needs which seemed to be no trouble for them. The room was super clean, smart, modern and well stocked. I really enjoyed the shower facilities and the level of cleanliness and tidiness by the housekeeping staff was terrific! The mini-fridge was a pleasant surprise and the finishing touches such as bottled water and toiletries were so lovely. The TV even had UK channels! The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable (albeit the mattress felt like it was sloping off at the edges slightly but this didn’t bother me too much). Overall, it made our trip to Nuremberg even more unforgettable. Thank you and keep up the great work!

The only downside was the room temperature. It was a little hot in our room which meant we had to open a window but with this came a lot of noise from the street. The air-con system didn’t seem to do a lot. As a side note (and not really a criticism), I would’ve liked a dressing gown/slippers as an extra but I understand that you can’t have everything! And this hotel was pretty close to having it all!

Quiet, clean, comfortable, well maintained. Some reception staff very friendly and helpful (given the language differences), good location to Old Town, main train and bus stations. Housekeeping staff helpful.

Shower mixer prevented a sufficiently hot shower (I like a hot shower), despite hot water in pipes and hand basin. Restaurant not open till September, Tried ringing Reception on 3 occasions but no answer, Some Reception staff a little 'cold' and 'short' but still professional. A little overpriced.

Although built several years ago the room, and the hotel as a whole, had the appearance and ambience of brand-new accommodation. The room had obviously been designed with great care and forethought. The provision of coffee-making facilities and a free bottle of mineral water- still the exception rather than the rule in German hotels - were welcome after a long journey. The hotel is across the road from the station and equally close to the old town. We did not have breakfast or use other facilities at the hotel.

No negative criticisms whatever.

The hotel itself was a perfect fit for our stay! Easily walkable to all of the main attractions in Old Town Nuremberg and the hotel was beautiful. Our room was clean and well appointed. We would definitely stay here again upon returning to Nuremberg!

The most frustrating part was that when we checked out of the hotel, we received a parking ticket to discount the price of parking at their chosen garage (next to the train station). When we went to pay in the parking garage, the ticket did not work. Even upon asking the attendant, the ticket would not work and he was unwilling to give us the discounted price. We were expecting to pay 17 euro for parking over night and ended up paying 41 euro because we did not have time to go back to the hotel! That was super unfortunate and frustrating.

On arrival on the 10th of August the lady at reception was not so friendly. We were early and just wanted to leave our bags. one of our rooms was ready which was great. When we arrived back around 3.30 to check into our 2nd room it was a different receptionist and a much more pleasant experience

The rooms were really lovely but air con wasn't great. My daughters room, 317, there was an unpleasant smell as you came down the corridor and also in the room itself.

Excellent location. Right next to Old Town. Across the road from Main Station and tram stops. Quiet, big, comfortable and clean rooms.

For a 4-star hotel, and over the Christmas period , the service and facilities available were very disappointing. No bar service or food facilities. Lounge area where we were hoping to order afternonon drinks or tea - table dirty and no staff. When we requested an extra dressing gown, we were told to come downstairs to collect one because there was only one person working at reception.
