1. super clean. Full stop. That's the most important thing in a hotel and you just don't worry about it there. 2. sleep: mattresses, pillows and sheets were super cosy, the soundproof windows did their job. As soon as we closed them, we heard virtually nothing from outside. The air conditioning made it nice and warm for us in January. We slept well, which is rare in hotels. Fantastic 3. friendliness: everyone wanted us to feel comfortable and they meant it. It was exceptional service. We loved the little chats here and there with the staff who even disagreed on restaurant recommendations. It was so funny and made it even more authentic for us. (We ate very well throughout the week). 4. breakfast: It's a basket of love. Absolutely delicious!!! 5. location: the hotel is right in the centre of everything, you can literally walk to anything you want to see or do in Athens. 6. warning. I have one warning to give. There is a tiny little bakery about 30 metres from the hotel. Once you discover their absolutely delicious sweets, you won't be able to resist and may gain a pound or two. The stuff is simply addictive. 7. At this hotel we just experienced the finest art of Greek hospitality in the middle of a metropolis. That's rare. If you are looking for an insider's tip, this is a good one. Enjoy. :-)

The most amazing stay Went for a short city break to celebrate partners birthday and staff went above and beyond to make this stay the most comfortable and extraordinary. We have never experienced such hospitality, not even in the 5* hotels. Location: 2min walk away from the restaurant/coffee/bar district, 10min walk to central, 15min walk to entrance to Acropolis Rooms: bright, modern, renovated. Towels changed everyday, room service every morning. Beautiful view on the historical part of the city. Coffee maker, hairdryer, safe, tvs with some English channels. Mini spa, exclusively for us, in the basement including hamam, sauna, gym and mini heated pool - can book few hours in advance to rest after whole day of sightseeing (we were here in Novmeber though, in the season might be harder to find a slot). Amazing breakfast on the rooftop included in the price - fresh juice, coffee, eggs, salads, sausages as well as dry goods basket. Magical. Terrace available 24/7 with Acropolis view for romantic evenings with bottles of wine. Quick check in, including detailed recommendations and way to move around the city (don't use trains, taxis - everything is within walking distance). Very warm welcoming every morning, making sure we are not missing anything. Wonderful and unexpected gem in the middle of Athens. We are already booking another trip here in spring and bringing family with us!

The staff is absolutely fantastic! The room size was amazing. We had a spectacular Acropolis view and a large balcony. Definitely worth the extra fee. The breakfast that is included goes above and beyond and no food is wasted as they donate additional food to those in need. If you do not get the acropolis view you can see it on the roof top deck where you eat breakfast or can take a bottle of wine in the evening. Location is only a few minutes walk from Monastiraki Flea Market a definite must go to. Best coffee is less than a minute walk at Americana Deli. You can also get great sandwiches, water and wine there.
The elevator is small, but functional. We could barely fit 2 adults in the elevator. When you arrive in the area there is graffiti everywhere, but in Greece it is considered art. More of an awareness than an issue with the hotel.

We just loved it all. The view was brilliant (room 402 - Suite with Hammam and Acropolis View) and as depicted. Breakfasts were big enough to feed us both and half of Athens as well and really well put together. The cooked pies were made on site and were different every day - spinach or cheese or chicken or custard filled. We cannot speak highly enough of the staff - the managers on site were so caring and helpful the kitchen and cleaning staff were incredibly cheerful and friendly. Location worked out really well as there were many bars and good places to eat within minutes of the hotel. An easy 10 minute walk to Monasteraki and beyond it the Plaka.
Nothing - it was all excellent

The hospitality at this hotel was excellent. The Manager and staff were very welcoming and helpful on everything we asked about. The food was wonderful! The hotel is walking distance to many major sites such as the Acropolis, museums, shopping, and restaurants.
We had the "Deluxe Apartment with Acropolis View". Two abandoned buildings in our view were quite an eyesore. This situation, however, is no fault of A.P. Acropolis. A fix for this issue would be to replace the abandoned buildings with some gardens. We had 3 rooms in our apartment. Only a small room in the back of the apartment had a view of the Acropolis. This particular apartment is not the one to rent if you want a nice view. We were on a tight budget and gone most of the daytime, however, so it wasn't a big deal for us. The good outweighed the bad with this hotel.

From the moment we arrived at the Hotel we were treated like royalty. Nothing was a problem. The hotel surprised us with an upgrade. We had a jacuzzi in our room and each evening we had little treats left for us and a glass of wine waiting for us. Finishing the evening in the jacuzzi was ideal. We had a stunning view of the Acropolis. The attention to detail was outstanding. We got a second up grade to the Penthouse Suite for our last night which was similar to a Penthouse Apartment. 360 degree view of Athens. The food was amazing. Having a dietry requirement the management went over and beyond to provide the best food. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Athens. It’s a new hotel and the staff were so friendly and helpful.
There was nothing that we did not like.

This was a gem of a find in the Psyrri area of Athens. The entrance to the hotel looks unassuming and down a normal Athens street in the gentrified area of Psyrri, with lots of bars and restaurants just around the corner (on first arrival the graffiti gave me concerns but it is literally everywhere and not a sign of anything untoward in Athens). The staff, including Vasilios the manager, could not have done more to make us feel welcome. Vasilios gave us a great overview of where we were in Athens, things to do and see, areas to avoid, and made us feel incredibly welcome. Breakfast on the roof terrace each day was really wonderful, with a basket of cold food provided and then a hot plate also made available. The rooms were big - we had a deluxe apartment with two bedrooms (one with a sofa bed) and a small dressing area with a fridge and view of the Acropolis. There is a small spa in the hotel which is also brilliant and available to use. The lift in the hotel is tiny and the stairs are spiral, so be aware of that if you're booking and need greater accessibility. For us it was good fun and a work out for the legs. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough - the location is great but the team there go the extra mile and make this place exceptional.

The property is located in a lively neighborhood with plenty of good restaurants and in short walking distance to the Monastiraki Square & Metro station. Despite the central location, the room was very quite. The room was spacious and kept exceptionally clean throughout our stay. We've been welcomed with drinks & local sweets and surprised with wine and more sweets on our last night. The kids enjoyed the pool in the Spa area that the hotel manger arranged for us for private use. The very nice breakfast was served on the top floor terrace with great views. After the first day, the breakfast items have been aligned with our needs & preferences. The hotel manager was very friendly and available and helped with great local restaurant recommendations. Can only recommend!

My stay at A.P. Acropolis View Apartments was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience—they were incredibly helpful, assisting with everything we needed and even providing wine to our room. The room itself was spacious, spotlessly clean, and offered a breathtaking view of the Acropolis. The rooftop was another highlight—enjoying breakfast there while taking in the perfect view of the Acropolis was unforgettable. Speaking of breakfast, it was delicious and thoughtfully provided in a basket packed with plenty of food, all of which tasted amazing. This place truly has it all: great service, comfort, cleanliness, and a location you can’t beat. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Athens!

Heaven on earth From our arrival 28th June 24 to departure 4th July 24 our stay at the AP view apartment was outstanding. Unlike most travellers we were staying in Athens for the full time and not island hopping. The standard of attention, upkeep of the apartment never wavered in all our stay, it was like we have just arrived every single day!! To start the day you have breakfast on the terrace, our human nature is always to have an expection of what to expect with the breakfast, it is nothing what you've have expected it is fresh, clean and delicious. Next you get told you have a view of the acropolis on the terrace, how many times have you been told this in your booking? then been disappointed? Not here that is exactly what you get on the terrace that gorgeous view!! You are waited on hand on foot for every second of your stay. The ladies running the AP view apartment are exceptional. They are attentive, intuitive and genuinely lovely ladies and a pleasure to have met on our holidays. This is a must do, I can't promote this accommodation enough, you will not be disappointed. For us 5 * is not enough we will be returning again later this year. Julie UK x
