Great view and super friendly stuff. You could basically see the sea while laying on your bed!

There was one poor guy at the breakfast doing his best to please everyone. Hotel must hire for sure more people! The quality of the window frame was kinda poor. Even with every window closed, you could hear everything from the outside environment. I also don't understand why hotels choose to install glass doors on bathrooms. Not many people like to watch or to be watched while in the bathroom.

San Sal Boutique Hotel is very sleak and clean, the rooms are spacious and very modern, the bed extremely comfortable. I loved the unusally generous shower placed in a glass box in the middle of the room. The view is gorgeous and the location a little bit away from the bustling town center perfekt. The roof top pool is a treat. They make good cocktails too.

I had a gyros at the pool, that was really not good, actually it didn't look like a gyros at all. It would be nice if the pool was open a bit longer than 7 o'clock. I was also not so thrilled by the breakfast, which for me is ok, as a like to save my appetite for later

I really enjoyed our stay and it was the staff that made it for me. The staff were really friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. They really helped us understand how to make the most of our short stay - what to see and where to eat. It was really helpful. The room was a fantastic size with some lovely little touches. I really liked that we had a choice of pillows as I can be picky about pillows! The location was excellent, walking distance into the harbour and historical sites. The hotel food was also fantastic, I rarely eat in hotels, but we did twice it was so good. Breakfast was also lovely, lots of options and great service.

I honestly couldn't fault this stay

This hotel is just beautiful. It is pristine, the attention detail is amazing and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was perfect, with views to the harbour and the sea and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. Listening to the waves is a sound I miss being back home! The shower is only hidden by a curtain, just FYI if you’re sharing with a family member or friend who you’re body conscious around. The location was perfect, so close to chania harbour but enough away to not hear it when it gets busy. Breakfast selection was good, there was a lot of choice. We never ate lunch or dinner there so we couldn’t comment on that but the cocktails in the roof top bar were unreal! They can make whatever you’re in the mood for, just pick a liquor and they’ll fashion something together. We never had a bad drink and we sampled many surprise cocktails. I would absolutely stay here again, without hesitation. The decor and vibe of the hotel feels high end and clean without a ridiculous price tag.

The rooftop bar wasn’t always manned but we were very early in the season so understandable but there were times I would’ve loved a coffee.

Excellent hotel from all points of view, very well located between the promenade area and the city beach. Extremely helpful staff, superb sea view, breakfast not very diversified but extremely tasty, delicious food at room service, very good cocktails at the pool. Depending on availability and for a fee you can check out late but unlike other similar hotels the room is cleaned on the day of departure and all supplies changed. Overall a great experience.

Maybe it's a matter of personal taste, but I missed the minibar in the room. There's a functional fridge, water, coffee, fruit, traditional sweets and rakiu plus an app where you can order anything but I think it was more convenient to have that classic minibar we were used to until the pandemic.

Just outstanding. We have stayed 4 nights and everything, from start to finish, is first class: 1) The super complete breakfast with excellent products. 2) The incredible pool sector, we could see the sunset from there and it was unforgettable. 3) The room with all the comforts and a fantastic size. 4) The wifi works excellent. 5) You leave the car key at reception and they park it for you. And finally the best thing is the staff, starting with Manolis the manager and Anna, Apostolos, Constantinos, Anna and Harris all always with a smile and a recommendation at hand to suggest you. In short, more than a hotel is a perfect experience that you will not forget 🫶🙌.

WOW! This place is absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were treated like celebrities. Staff - AMAZING, Food - AMAZING, Rooftop pool Drinks/Cocktails - AMAZING. We stayed in the beautiful room with the private pool and my friends haven't stopped asking me for the details of this place. The best thing, albeit a small thing, was a lovely handwritten welcome postcard from the manager himself. How is this not a 5* hotel?! Thank you so much for a wonderful and most memorable stay SanSal Boutique Hotel. We have left our hearts with you :)

Excellent atmosphere, clean and well designed room with an excellent view of the seafront! Highly recommended!

Beautiful boutique hotel. Rooms well laid out with lots of space for luggage. Especially loved big bathroom the with heaps room for toiletries. Good size balcony. Every guest need was thought of . Loved the fresh towels in the evening. The staff were amazing & so welcoming & helpful. Anna -Maria was especially wonderful. Location was great.. easy walking distance to Old Port restaurants & shops. If we travel again to beautiful Chania will certainly stay again at SanSal .

unfortunately the breakfast was not something one would expect when staying in a 4 star hotel, in the first few days we had a buffet and the variety was poor, in 4 star hotels (at least the ones that we stayed in) you get more options and the verity is larger, on our last days, since we were only few guests we had à la carte, that was even poorer, that should be improved. though food was delicious and we were not hungry still ...
