We loved this hotel, it is stunning and every detail is perfection, great location. The staff was extremely gracious and helpful, answering all of our questions and recommending sights and restaurants. We were offered an exceptional upgrade and had the most beautiful suite with our own Hammam! The breakfast is generous and varied everything was delicious and fresh! Special thanks to Margarita, we hope to return again in the near future!

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in, if not the best. The location is great, not even a minute walk away from the city center. Upon arrival they bring you golf carts to take you to the hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were extremely friendly and kind. The hotel used to be a family mansion that was transformed into a hotel by the family who owns it and is extremely beautiful. We asked the staff for help to find a restaurant for my daughters birthday and they recommended Pallas Thallasa and made us a reservation. The morning of they surprised my daughter with a cake and when we finished our dinner at the restaurant we found out the owner of the hotel, Margarita, had contacted them and bought us dessert to celebrate the birthday. I think this hotel is a nice luxury to splurge on and have made the trip extremely comfortable.

Breakfast needs more options

The property is in a superb location. It has spectacular views from the rooftop. The owner (6th generation) attended at property daily to greet guests and provide helpful tips to ensure you are maximizing and enjoying your stay. I always book five star resorts/hotels when I go away, and this property exceeded my hopes for an exceptional stay. The room was more spacious than I anticipated (2 children, 2 adults). We felt like we were in a picture book. I will always stay at this property when returning to Crete.

What a gorgeous and historic property! We had three people to a room where sometimes one can feel squished, but Casa Delfino made it luxurious. An elevated bedroom for the parents and our teen was downstairs. There were two gorgeous balconies, one facing the gorgeous courtyard and the other facing the quaint streets of Chania. The staff were always so helpful and attentive to our needs, whether it be making reservations for restaurants or booking excursions. The best part was the hidden gem of the rooftop bar and garden with a gorgeous view of the Venetian Harbor and lighthouse. In fact, most nights we had the rooftop to ourselves. I never wanted to leave! Finally, this property is a sixth-generation owned luxury boutique hotel, and we were lucky enough to meet the gracious owner. All of the staff members felt apart of the Casa Delfino family and so did we—at least for a week!

One thing that would benefit the property would be a breakfast menu of all their items! It was hard to keep track of what everything was, especially half asleep!

Awesome from start to finish. The communication from the point of booking was brilliant. On the day of travel our flight from the UK was delayed. Managed to message the hotel whilst on the runway at Manchester to say we’d be late. Our taxi transfer was there waiting for us when we finally arrived in Chania airport and only €30 for the journey. Hotel recommended a restaurant (and arranged a table for us) on first night and all staff were fantastic throughout stay - so knowledgable and friendly. Lovely hotel. Make sure you experience the rooftop terrace bar - amazing views. Will definitely return here.

Pleasantly surprised it was a lofted bedroom for I’m an early riser and I could escape to meditate and read and not disturb my sister would loves to sleep in Staff was super efficient with making sure we had everything we needed Very appreciative you could accommodate my sister with gluten free breakfast options

I suppose the only thing I can say is to explain to the guests how the main power switch in the room functions .The next morning the room was cleaned and the the power was turned off we didn’t know we had to turn that main power switch back on because we were told not to touch it

the property was amazing, location was great, 1 min from the main main square. the hotel staff was great, very polite and help us with all the requests like book us a taxi to the airport, even prepared us a breakfast box to go to the airport because we left early in the morning. the did us an upgrade to the room and that made our stay even more fabulous. the only regret is that we didn’t stay from the start of our holiday, here. PS: visit also the shop in the hotel, ull find very beautiful pop art statues of the greek antiquity.

The front desk team was so helpful in arranging reservations, providing recommendations, and arranging transport to our car. The room was very large and very nicely prepared and cleaned each day. The location was super for great restaurants, shopping, and enjoying the harbor.

If you rent a car, it’s a little of a hassle to walk to and from the parking area but honestly we didn’t mind. The hotel offers help with a golf cart but if you don’t have wifi/phone reception, you can’t call them to request a ride. Keep in mind if you are arriving late.

A fabulous place to stay in Old Chania is just to good to be true. Quaint, family run with so much history, sit in the courtyard and soak it up. The people who work there go well above and beyond in making your stay perfect providing you will all of the local intel you could possibly want to ensure a memorable experience. The room itself was magnificent, spacious, impeccable with a superb bathroom. Our room had a rooftop terrace that looked out over the old venetian port which was great for relaxing after wandering the streets. The breakfast was wonderful with lots of yummy specialities, it did not lack anything...

In a word, everything! This stunning property is a really special spot - from the history to the details and superb staff. The breakfast was outstanding, and it was so lovely to sit in the gorgeous courtyard and eat. The selection was vast, and so much of the options were homemade. We were sad to only have one night at this spectacular place.

Um... Digging here... If you have bad hips or knees or lots of luggage, you might want to ask for a room on the ground floor. ;P I actually loved all the twists and turns of this place! Lots of stairs, tho.
