One of the best places I've been! It was our first time in Crete and I chose this hotel because of a review. When we entered, we were greeted by a friendly atmosphere, and of course Michael is the receptionist. He was very friendly. We were in a superior room on the second floor. We like slightly harder bed mattresses, this was perfect for 7 nights! Air-conditioned, absolutely quiet, automatic, efficient. Perfect noise-insulating windows, we really pulled it off and it's completely quiet! For whom it is important. Breakfast: every day Giulia made some local delicacy, all the while there was melon juice coffee. We weren't hungry. There was a fantastic pool, comfortable sunbeds. The location is good, the city center is a 6-minute walk away. We always found free parking at night. I can only recommend it!

The room was great, nicely decorated and spacious with comfy furniture and a large balcony. We were offered an upgrade, free of charge upon our arrival. The breakfast was good without being spectacular, but the view from the rooftop cafe-bar was spectacular. The gym was quite well equipped and the pool was fine and clean.

We ordered a snack upon arrival and asked it to be delivered to our room, but it took 40 minutes to be brought when it didn't seem too busy at the bar. Another time, I was forgotten about while waiting to use the hammam. I didn't like not seeing prices for extra costs of facilities or food and drink available from the bar. I would suggest displaying these things clearly so the guests know and can budget accordingly.

This Hotel made our holiday. The staff were friendly and efficient and extremely accommodating. A shout out to George on the front desk who always greeted us so warmly. Other front desk members were also very good, unfortunately I didn't get their names. The breakfast was really good with the lovely lady in charge describing the food that was handmade every morning with a good morning and a smile. Other staff in the restaurant were also so friendly and warm. Very good choice for breakfast with fabulous views over the town of Rethymno as it was situated on the 5th floor. Our room was very spacious & air conditioned with a comfortable kingsize bed. The decor was very attractive and we had a huge balcony with a view of the sea. It was a nice quiet area even though not far from the old town. There was a walk up hill to the hotel which didn't trouble us but if you had health difficulties it may be a problem. The room is not serviced unless you request it but when we needed anything like extra towels or soap it was provided. The shower was really good, the best I have experienced. The spa area was closed on this occasion due to difficulty, however when I requested a massage, it was arranged that I could have one in my room. The lady came supplied with her own equipment and the massage was very good. Parking near the hotel was never an issue for us even though there wasn't much space directly outside the hotel. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel and if we return to Rethymno we would not hesitate to return here.

It is a very pleasant place close to the city centre. The taxi will bring you from the bus station for some minutes; if you walk, you'd need around 15 minutes. The hotel is situated quite high in comparison to the Old town, so take into consideration, if you have problems with health, but we enjoyed these walks a lot. The room had a nice view on the sea, however there are some other buildings close to the hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. We liked the breakfasts, too. We surely recommend this hotel for business trips. There is a swimming pool and a gym available, but we didn't use it. We also liked the church bells in the mornings.

It would be nice to have fresh foot towel, it did not have time to dry.

We really enjoyed the breakfast and the view from the 5th floor. The swimming pool area was also a big plus. The atmosphere was perfect for relaxing and cooling off from the intense heat. The staff was always there to help, really kind and always with a smile on their face. A special thanks to Michalis for all the info he gave out about what to visit and where to eat. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Menta and will surely come back when in Rethymno.

The only issue we had was with the pillows, which were too firm and gave me neck pain.

- Very nice, friendly and helpful staff. - Everything was really clean. - Breakfast on the roof is amazing. The lady is incredible, she welcomed every guest every morning with a huge smile and showed us the buffet very proudly. She made every morning something new, the Greek sweets and desserts are super delicious. :)

There was automatically no daily room service which can be a little strange considering the toilet paper situation in Greece. :) When we asked they immediately cleaned the room and changed the bin for free. It's actually not a negative thing, much more a little side note for another guest.

Michalis is excellent! He was very thorough and gave us ideas on great places to eat, visit and sites to see. His friendly personality made us feel welcome right away. The property is clean and modern . We loved the breakfast every morning which included all home cooked meals . We had an issue where I thought we booked an extra night but did not . The staff was very accommodating and found us a room right away. The hotel is about 15 minute walk to Old town which is convenient.

Everything was satisfactory.

The hotel was very clean and our room had comfortable beds. The lobby and the pool were really nice and with a great music, which is a great backup plan for windy days. The breakfast is served in a rooftop bar with an amazing view of the whole city. George from the reception was very helpful and provided us with some great recommendations for restaurants and beaches.

The breakfast could be improved. There weren’t so many choices and most of the food was served cold. It is ok for one night stay but it can be come boring for a longer stay since there is no variety. The hotel has only a couple of dedicated parking spaces which means that you need to park on the surrounding streets. This is not a huge issue as we always managed to find a place after circling a bit.

The hotel was obviously newly renovated, all the facilities were in great condition and the outdoor/pool area was very nice. The room was spacious, with a decent sized balcony. The bed was comfortable and the extra pillows were appreciated. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious! Although the location is not in the old town, it only takes 10-15 minutes to walk downtown.

For those with mobility issues, the hotel is located on a rather steep hill that can be difficult to navigate - as the sidewalks are either non-existent or uneven and cars often restrict access to them. A taxi downtown costs 5 euros. There are no restaurants nearby, and the hotel does not provide dinner. So if you are taking a taxi back and forth multiple times per day, it can become a bit costly.

Amazing people! We were feeling like in home! Clean swimming pool, such a tasty coffee and other snacks/drinks from the bar (good price ranges) Room&bathroom very clean, comfortable air-con which gives nice temperature with not freezing one area! Delicious breakfast (totally must to try!) on the top of the building with breathtaking view. Also rooms on the top floors have beautiful sea view so you can enjoy the sunset 🧡

Everything was perfect!
