Great AC, great common room with an airy, modern kitchen. Very fresh and modern bathroom and restroom, which are directly inside the dormatories. Very friendly staff with good information about touristic questions. Jokes about Greek gods on doors. Very central location, towels and linen included.

Very loud music in the bar (but good view of the park and church below). No table nor chair in the rooms. No shelf in bathroom. Nowhere to change clothes in the room if you want some privacy.

Guys, please give people a backup roll of toilet paper, especially if they're going to be there several days. It's not a great situation to need it, but the only way to get it is to ask reception. Also, maybe rearrange things in the vending machine so they don't get stuck. 2/2 things I tried to buy got stuck. One I managed to get, the other Is stuck there for eternity

Fantastic atmosphere in the hostel, helpful staff, great common room with sofas and places to work. Awesome design- modern, fresh, funky. The location was great too - 10 mins to the sea.

Our double room was noisy- noise was coming from outside, from common room above (I think it was vacuum cleaner in the morning) and also from bed (we couldn't move without very noisy sound). I didn't have any singe night with good sleep. If you are booking double room keep in mind that washbasin is place without any wall between bedroom.

Good location for walking the city.. Common room very spacious with nice kitchen. Rooftop bar with snacks.. 4 person female dorm had own separate shower and toilet.

The room was small but comfy. There was a separate toilet and shower. Very warm and spacious shower with two different shower heads. We were provided with soap, toilet paper and towels. The view was amazing; we could see the whole Aristotelous square and the towers outside the city. There were curtains around each bed for privacy and you could open a separate curtain towards the window so you could see the view from your bed. There was also a light and a charger in the space of the bunk bed. Under the beds, there are huge storage spaces that lock (no need to bring your own lock). On the upper floors there is a kitchen, a common space and a bar. You can also watch the view from there. The ladies working in the kitchen are super nice. In the kitchen there is everything you need to cook and eat. You can also watch Netflix and participate in the group activities of the hostel. 24h reception. Right by the main square and all the available buses.

Maybe provide more toilet paper. I had a long stay and i noticed the housekeeping wasn't coming every day. I don't care about the cleaning part, but just to have enough supplies in the bathroom. Of course, if you ask at the reception, they don't deny you any supplies. Also, a tiny recommendation is to put a stand for the shower head in the shower. It's a bit impractical when you hold it.

- Wonderful location - The rooms were very comfortable: beds with curtains, AC, en-suite shower and bathroom, secure and spacious lockers. - The staff was very helpful, moving me to another room for the last two nights of my stay because the two new people in my dorm were sick. - The common area/kitchen on the sixth floor, though I didn’t really spend much time there.

Not a negative for the hostel itself, but my (minor) negative experiences were from the other guests. Someone stole my chips and bread in the kitchen even though I’d labeled them, for example :(

The staff were always really friendly and helpful, the ladies preparing the breakfasts were especially great. The hostel is in a good position opposite an old church, with lovely views all round. There could be street noise at night, but with earplugs I found it OK. Our room with ensuite was excellent, the bed and the shower good. It was really nice to have a washing machine in the common room, available free for guests to use. The breakfast was really good too with plenty of choice.

The windows were a bit grubby, but with so much glass in a city it must be tricky to keep them clean. We went up to the roof top bar one evening and I just wanted a small beer but the guy behind the bar refused, saying they only served beer in half litres. Also, we had to sit down in a specific place, meaning everyone was sat in couples, and when we wanted to move tables (for a better view) the waitress insisted in moving our drinks for us.

The staff is such an amazing surprise : helpful, attentive, smart to unusual extents. The room was perfectly fine : spacious, always clean, warm and highly comfortable. The mattress & bed size were perfectly fine - very suitable for overweighted folks and those guests who display especial difficulties for locomotion - the same can be applied to the entire hotel’s facilities ( and bathrooms ). The hotel is located into the most interesting side of Thessaloniki- the most important sightseeing points are all around the hotel, moreover, all the meeting points for the Tours I had scheduled in advance were also around the hotel’s block. The distance to the beach is just a 300 meters stroll from the Lost Zeus. Absolutely amazing, perfect hotel - excellent cost / benefit rate. Especially accounting that the visitors won’t come to Thessaloniki just for stand still into a hotel’s room . I mean, That’s the perfect hotel for those looking for adventures, fun and knowledge. One more positive ingredient: the local opened market is a highly alluring place - the visitor may eat the best Greek meals ( also the exotic ones) , purchasing souvenirs, clothes, shoes, fresh vegetables & fruit, enjoy the Greek night life for the best prices ( ever ).

I have no negative remarks. In so far I have no suggestions to improve anything - cos everything was already perfect. Unfortunately, Thessaloniki has no underground facilities .. we must relay on taxis or buses to go anywhere .. anyway, even taking into account that somehow negative remark towards the CITY, this hotel remains the best option amongst their equivalents

I believe the hostel is overpriced. Even though I really enjoyed my experience, I would probably not stay at Zeus is Loose again based on how much I had to pay.

Huge super hostel with great roof bar area and modern dorm with en suite bathroom. Very comfortable bed and there was no problem swapping my pillow for a firmer one when I asked the cleaner. Very centrally located right by Aristotelous Square. Helpful, friendly staff and easy check in with towels and locker provided as part of the booking. Excellent value for money.

There was a very unpleasant smell in the room (like rotten vegetables) almost the entire time I was there. I suspect a problem with the sewage. Other reviews on Booking also mentioned the smell so it wasn’t just my dorm room. I reported it.
