Rude reception. Told that they had no room for another day. And we had to pack out and than had to check in again for the same room. Becasue despite the reception we booked easily from booking.com. It was exhausting for us.

During my recent stay in Budapest, I was pleasantly surprised by how wonderful the hotel was. The property was not only clean and well-maintained but also situated in a beautiful area, making it easily accessible to all the main attractions. The staff were incredibly kind, and they even gave us a free upgrade for our last night. The experience was truly worth the money, and I highly recommend this hotel.

The location of this property is amazing. You are on a hill overlooking the city. It is peaceful at night and in the morning. The amenities were good. They provided a bottle of water to the room daily. Staff was friendly.

Breakfast is expensive but very good. The fitness area was closed.

We’ve never stayed at a Hilton before, and we were SO IMPRESSED. The location of the Budapest Hilton could not be better. You can walk - even my husband with a cane - to Mathias Church and the lovely and uncrossed Christmas Market next to it. Several authentic Hungarian restaurants within 2 blocks. A TukTuk came right to the front door and we took a personalized tour. When we arrived my husband was not feeling well and had to lie down. It was 10:00am and check in is 3pm. I explained the situation and we got a room within 10 minutes. I was so touched by their caring. The front desk helped us several times with local information. We got a last-minute deal on our reservation and we were so grateful. I was glad we could afford this at least this one time. It was GREAT.

I have to think hard for this and hesitate to say anything. However, this morning as we waited for the taxi to the airport, the doorman invited us to have danish and a coffee at the little stand in the lobby. I went to get my husband a coffee but the machine required payment so I backed off. Complimentary would have been sweet. And in keeping with the rest of the stay.

Location was great, parking was easy but very expensive. The hotel looks very nice, my first room, witch i specially booked did not meet my expectations, and when they changed it, it was still not to my liking but now i know what to do, i have to put in my requests in advance, so they can get it right.

there is always something, but i was there 1 night, when people change room, look what facilities the have and give them a better room with the same facilities, but that is maybe only me talking. there is a minbar but this is very expencive, much better to go outside and get something i a little shop around the corner for more then half the price!! i would say: put less in the minibar and make it free of charge, the rooms are pricy enough.

Had a river view room on 6th floor, probably one of the best views in the city( ok sky bar is slightly better but can be windyer). Room large enough with good facilities. Started to show need for a deep clean and refresh (if you close bathroom door it shows signs of needing a clean). Dark wood shows all marks and splashes very early in its life. Had an issue on 1st day with no hot water for shower, however hotel on it straight away and issue fixed within a few hours, same with a sticky sink plug. Reported this on way to restaurant and was fixed when we returned to room. Food was good with massive selection at breakfast including my favourite honeycomb. Can get busy at breakfast some days due to tours using hotel as a stop over and all leaving at a set time for the day. However they have it well organised and staff work hard to ensure this is not a problem. Evening meal at on site restaurant was really good, well presented and well cooked. Good local wine (recommended by staff) complimented meal very well. Front of house team always helpful and pleasant. Overall had a very good stay.

Room was generally clean but attention to detail in easy to miss areas let them down i.e back of bathroom door which staff must not close when cleaning so missed all the marks that are there.

The views were amazing!! You could see a beautiful skyline with beautiful sunset and sunrise. The rooms were very clean and good size. Breakfast was tasty a variety of options as family is vegetarian. We were there for my daughter’s graduation from med school. Staff were excellent I lost my sunglasses were found by reception, my so sons keys were left in taxi going to the airport the staff tracked the taxi down and got him to drop them off at the airport. Due to our flights being 4 hours I asked reception to help with a bouquet from a florist which they helped with . Staff were exceptional !!! The king loft room held all our family became a meeting place . Highly recommend this hotel and we have been to plenty. We booked 2 King superior rooms with Danube view and king loft room.

Could not fault the hotel, cleanliness, views or staff everything was spot on.

The hotel was Gorgeous! The bed and pillows were great. Although we would have preferred separate duvets. The location was great, right near the most beautiful part of Budapest. The neighborhood felt very safe. Breakfast was nice.

We arrived to the hotel at around 19.00. After check in, we asked the concierge where to eat nearby. Without asking further of our preferences, He guides us to an Hungarian restaurant that was a tourist trap, the restaurant then “overcharged” our meal, due to they did Not inform us that the tip was already included. And encouraged us to tip. I would have appreciated if the concierge guided us to a better place, since we had informed that it was our first time visiting. - we did not have issues regarding tipping culture in any of the Other places we visited. We would definitely visit again. Although we spent most time on the other side of the canal.

Thanks for great stay at Hilton Budapest, it’s so comfortable, cozy, stylish and friendly hotel. Location is great. Our room had amazing view on the river and bridge. Everything was clean and ready for hosting. Special thanks for the staff and they polite policy. The gave us all information about what we asked and even was honest with us about the food (because we choose only halal food)
