This hotel exceeded all expectations. The location is ideal with everything you need just a short walk away. Hotel operates smoothly and the rooms are spotless with pleasant fresh scents. The beds are extremely comfortable, ensuring great sleep. Our room faced courtyard making it wonderfully quiet and perfect for restful sleep. Breakfast was exceptional, offering a wide variety of options to suit even the pickiest of eaters. They also serve excellent coffee. Hotel provides on-site parking, which, although charged separately, is very convenient and secure. The staff is wonderful, friendly and always ready to help. I will definitely be staying here again!

Stay at Roombach was just fantastic! And can be easily the best in our whole trip! From the moment we entered the hotel we were greeted by very friendly and warm reception. And every morning, every night without fail the staff will greet us with a very nice smile and greetings. Really brighten up our days! Good start to every morning! Location is also great, near the train station, airport bus. Really very accessible.

Staff are really kind and even prepared us breakfast earlier than usual before our flight. Good breakfast selection. Perfect location. Many restaurants to choose from nearby. Walked everywhere on the first day and second day we went to further places with the public transport, literally 3 mins walk from the hotel. This is a perfect stay for a 2 day trip.

A kettle would have been nice to have. Rooms are small but good for a 2 day trip.

We arrived at the hotel around 7am after a very long trip. Even the official check in time is 2pm they manage for giving us a room in advance with no extra charge. Staff made our day!!! We will come back!

Everything was fine

The hotel is in a fantastic location, very close to all major public transport stations, making it perfect for exploring Budapest. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, always ready to help. Breakfast was diverse, with options to suit every taste. The room was perfectly heated, the bed was very comfortable, and the innovative system for notifying housekeeping about the services you need was incredibly practical. Overall, a great experience that I would highly recommend!

The only strange thing was that the bathroom door looked like a shower cabin door. It’s hard to explain, but it didn’t have a lock or the ability to fully close properly. If you’re not traveling with someone you’re extremely close to, it could feel like an invasion of privacy. That being said, this might have just been the case in our room, so it’s possible that other rooms don’t have the same issue. Another potential issue, which might have been specific to our room, was that the housekeeping storage was located right next to us, and we shared a wall with it. This made it a bit noisy in the mornings when they started preparing for cleaning.

The hotel is very good. The staff very friendly and helpful. There were a lot of options for breakfast and it was very clean. The best part of course was the location. It is close to everything. A subway station is near by as well as many other public transport options. Furthermore, the best nightlife spots are within a short walking distance. The general vibe of the neighborhood is quite cool, youthful and alternative.

The bed linen and matresses could be better, although they are not really bad and the hairdryer is impossible to dry your hair with, especially if you have long hair. Still, those things didn't bother me much.

I found this hotel by chance on booking.com as it had an offer on. I did not know what it was going to be like but my god was I impressed ! Firstly, the location could not be more perfect- we took the airport shuttle direct from the airport and the last stop was a 2 minute walk away from the hotel! The staff were so lovely and the whole check in/ out process was so easy. The room was exactly like the pictures and was very comfy, although we did only have one pillow per single bed but I’m sure you could ask reception for another one if required. The bathroom was clean and bright- always hot water in the shower and towels changed daily. We also got a breakfast included in the price which was from 7-10am each morning- they had a range of foods to eat- including pastries, cold meats, toast, cereals, fruit and veg as well as juice and hot drinks. In addition to all of that, Roombach had so many extra touches that made our stay that much better! For example they had a wall of discount cards for activities within Budapest, as well as running route maps and even local concert flyers. Upon check out they gave us a box of praline chocolates as a thank you which was so generous and kind. All in all ,this hotel was perfect and made our trip so much more enjoyable. I cannot stress enough that this is the best hotel in Budapest for affordability, location and comfort. I will definitely go back to this hotel if I visit Budapest again and I very much recommend- you will not be disappointed.

Maybe a few more food options at breakfast. Such as hash browns, bacon or waffles etc (Although these are not very Hungarian so it’s not a massive issue) - the selection they had was still good. And two pillows on each single bed

Location is great. Stuff is very friendly. Breakfast is good.

The room is small. The elevators are two and very small. The worst experience was the transfer service from the airport. The driver just left us because she waited too long. The plane landed at 6 AM and we came out half an hour after passport control and security check. The driver was very rude and blamed us for not contacting her from the sky while flying🙈. Also as it is stated in the transfer service driver doesn't not come to the exit. Passengers should go to the driver to zone 3 and wait for the driver there.

Staff was super kind. I had a long journey and arrived super tired and way too early. Staff made sure I was comfortable until I could get the room, (which I could move in a bit earlier than usual). I had several requests and they helped me with everything I asked for. Staff is knowledged about city attractions, they answered all questions. Hotel is bigger but still cozy and in the middle of the city centre. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

Somehow our room was super hot on some days, even with heating off and windows open.

This hotel is centrally located within walking distance to the center and Christmas Market. The staff was very nice, but I have to give a special thanks to Frank who was the star of the reception staff. Frank was very helpful in giving suggestions, answering questions, and just giving good advice in general. He is a wonderful representative for the hotel. The breakfast was not only fantastic in taste and abundance, but was so beautifully and artistically presented. It is among the best hotel breakfasts I've had. Parking is available in the secure courtyard behind the hotel. Would be happy to stay here again.
