Great location, amazing house coral reef, super nice and helpful staff, beautiful and clean bungalows, included boat shuttle to LBJ twice a day

Where to start? The manager Hubert is a great guy – he clearly cares about each and every guest's experience. And his team is fantastic – the nicest, hardest-working group of hotel staff that we've ever encountered. The room was fantastic, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The view from our balcony was like something out of a postcard – really a million-dollar view. You almost have to pinch yourself to realize it's real. The house reef is as good as others say. Our snorkelling excursion was wonderful, too, and Jodi was a great guide. In short, this is a dream destination. You won't regret coming here.

There will always be very minor annoyances at a remote place. Once or twice things were left off a meal (for example, they forgot the cream with the French toast, and they forgot the sambal with another dish). But these are a small price to pay for being in paradise – and it really is paradise. One thing they probably be should clearer on is the two different types of bungalows. Some are attached, and noise can be a real issue. You should know what you're getting ahead of time. Fortunately, I enquired, so we booked a detached room and loved it. But they should be clearer on Booking.com

This really is an amazing place to stay. It really is beach island bliss, with the most amazing view of the ocean when you get out of your beach hut each morning! The private reef which takes all of one minute to reach was the best snorkelling we did all trip, and the food at the restaurant was incredible. Staff were all so helpful, organised some amazing tours and we were incredibly sad to leave

Only watch out is for people who are looking to go diving. Just because it's quite a small hotel, it's not guaranteed you will hit the minimum number of divers needed for the boat to go out, and we weren't able to dive one day. However, the dive centre connected to the hotel were brilliant in trying to help, and made sure on our second day we got to go, even with a different company.

This is an amazing hideout from the crowds. I was often the only person in the resort and could snorkel right outside my accommodation . In reviews, the price of the food provided by the restaurant is always mentioned. If all the food and drinks have to come by boat from the main land and all the many staff have to be paid, I really do not think it was too over the top on price. Perhaps compared to Indonesia rates, it is expensive, but compared to home, it was not. The government tax and surcharge are added at the end, which makes the meals more than you think. Staff were on hand to help you, snorkel , dive, and organise trips to other islands. They were so kind and always smiling. All plastic from the sea is removed immediately, and the sand beach is pristine. Accommodation was incredible with no ants, mosquitos, etc, to worry about. I would recommend this resort to families, couples, and solo travellers.

- Aqura Diving Club: they are much more expensive than those in Labuan Bajo with similar speedboats. In our case, they tried to charge some clients almost double than others, same trip same day, arguing that the ones paying less had asked prices some weeks before… which was totally unfair and unacceptable. Also they keep asking for pcrs (not available in the island, going to mailand is 160eu + 3h time) when all other dive clubs are not requiring any test. Really sad to see the lack of transparency with pricing management taking advantage of being not in town but in an isolated island. (we recommend blue komodo divers in town, they have speedboat, good new gear and offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off at Seraya)

moslty of things, foods its delicius but price its little bits expensive if for local, room nice and comfotable, free pick up by resort staff from airport and habour use long boat from harbour to resort, staff very helpfull not much to complaint.

you need take off your shoes or sandal when in restaurant or cafe resort ... its weird.. never happen like that... if you want keep clean why dont use sands floor in cafe or restaurant lol.., i think because room little far away from receptions why dont leave couple snorkel stuff in front room so every time guess want going swim and snorkling in beach so they dont need walk far away, waste a time and ask a guys in receptions. maybe will be nice if resort put a price information day trips to komodo national park and couple sandals hotel in room so all guest can see and dont need walk receptions to ask make easy for us to organise.

House reef, amazing view, great bungalow.

Restaurant was very expensive and very average taste, expected way better being on remote island and having no other options for food (only next door resort, the same quality of food). Quality of services depended on how many guests were staying.

The most relaxing 3 days I've ever spent. The rooms were lovely, clean and super comfortable. The reef is one of the best snorkeling spots I've ever been to. Food was delicious. Transport to/from was very organised, they even sent WhatsApp message to confirm pick up. Highly recomend and will be back again!!

Nothing, everything was superb.

It was just really too good to be true. A perfection in our trip. The staff really attended to all our needs, even when it comes to babysitting our baby so we can snorkle or dive - or even have a relaxed dinner. Food was clean and amazing, they even told us we can request anything outside the menu if we were bored of them. I have never had such good sleeps for some time; the sound of the wave in front of our doorstep was a perfect lullaby to sleep. Speaking of room, we even had it upgraded when we arrived! All in all, the lack of internet connection really doesn’t matter cause there’s just soooo much to enjoy. The detox was totally worth it 😉 This trip has also opened our eyes to the plastic problem we’re facing as a society. It was not that bad as if it was in crowded beach or something but for a place with a proud house reefs and well maintained private beach resort, the plastic problem surely made everyone mad. But we honestly never encountered that because the WHOLE staff woke up in the morning and literally clean up the beach together before we woke up! When you’re there, I strongly recommend to take the diving course with Ilham. He’s a very calm and competent instructor, very patient and make you feel comfortable being under water. I was afraid of being under water in general but Ilham made the diving less scary and he made sure that you understand the techniques that can make you feel safe underwater. He seems to be very passionate and knowledgeable about the life down there too. Definitely worth it to take the course! Last but not least, they arranged the airport pick up and transfer to our next hotel for free and catered carefully to our schedule. In conclusion, I have never been happier and most satisfied with an overall holiday experience. Thank you Huberth and team! We are sad already to leave the island. Definitely a place worth coming over and over again.

nothing, everything was beyond perfection

we decided to choose this resort for our honeymoon destination. yes, compare to others ths resort quite higher. but after arrived, we already fallin in love. the room was very tidy, comfortable, water pressure also good. they also taking care the beach with very well so no wonder if the house reef look so amazing. quite place, like private island. i’m personally highly recommend this resort, Pak Hubert, Ange, Ilham, Pak Edu, Densi, and all of them so very friendly (sorry if i cant mention one by one) they all taking care of us during our stay. btw we also saw some of manta just in front of room, so cute! shuttle boat also comfortable, they prepare life vest and brief. everything they organized very well. thankyu so much sudamala seraya! n

price for food quite expensive but understandable remind they should buy everything from land.
