Stunning decoration and beautiful gardens. Kind and helpful staff. Close to a small open-air shopping mall. Breakfast has many choices.

The AC in the room was weak and not drying, so it was very humid. Even our clothes were wet. The fridge was not cooling. Food and drink were expensive in the restaurants, and portions were small. We went to Bali Collection mall for coffee and dinner, and had coconut juice from the warungs just outside the hotel.

Good location, a lot of options for children, grate kids club. Really nice experience in the evening, they make fire, provide cocktails near the beach, you can listen live music, etc. We come to Melia time by time on the weekends, already tried their villas, lagoon access rooms and standard room. Villa is ok, we like it. Lagoon room is too dark and wet, standard room is much better (one the 1st floor with own terrace).

Restaurant prices are high. Food quality is average. Cocktails were brought at one times normal, and at other times very bad quality. The most expensive coconuts on the island that I have ever seen! Too many staff on the beach. It feels like they are watching you. There are a lot of vendors on the beach. You will not be able to relax comfortably. They come up to you and tug at you every few minutes. Why did you start taking money for renting bikes? It used to be free for guests before.

Beautifully designed complex; romantic garden and lighting. Room spacious, comfortable and quiet. Staff exceptionally service-minded, helpful and kind. Great spa and yoga in the morning.

Limited selection of local food - don’t want to go to Bali for pizza. Should be a separate swimming pool for swimming instead of a large leisure pool as now, full of jumping children and large groups of young adults. Actual beach bit disappointing because of lack of opportunity to swimming. Difficult to appreciate local culture.

A very well managed resort with many great features and unique touches. The room was very clean and well presented. Staff were universally friendly and accommodating.

Breakfast Buffet was ok, although pretty underwhelming particularly compared to other 5 star properties in the area. The food and drink prices in general were pretty outrageous, especially given the very low cost of Labour. It felt like the resort was gauging anyone that hadn't bought the all inclusive package. The rooms need a tech update not a single USB outlet to be seen. The contents of the large pump style amenities in the bathroom were so old that that they had separated and couldn't be used, so we walked to Bali Collection to buy something from the pharmacy.

plenty of activities available to keep the family occupied. The grounds were kept immaculate and the gardens beautiful to walk through each day. the beach out the front it one of the best along that coastline. Housekeeping were constantly around which meant rooms were cleaned daily and and needs were met easily. The buffet breakfast was exceptional and the staff were beyond lovely. A beautiful walkway links the resorts along the beachfront which is perfect for morning walks or bike rides.

It’s a quiet area but easy to order Gojek food and drivers to the resort if you want to try local cuisine. The nearby Zahra Day Spa was our go to for massages.

great territory, huge garden and pool, spacious kids club, great location in front of 3 surf spots and walking distance to Bali collection and Zahra spa great selection of the high quality restaurants

- rooms are very small, old and smelly. the hotel was built almost 40 years ago, and the rooms since then have not changed much - biggest problem is the humidity. in 2 weeks literally all the stuff we put in the wardrobe got mould on it :( - if you a non-smoker, brace yourself. guests are allowed to smoke everywhere - on the balconies, in the restaurants, etc. non-smoking rooms do not exist (they do on paper, but in reality this is not enforced) - we were in a non-smoking building with literally all our neighborhoods smoking on the balconies all the time

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff and facilities. The kids club, in particular, is brilliant for all ages. beach is nice and pool is massive. it’s a really stunning hotel.

The pool is overcrowded and there are no sun loungers due to people reserving them but not using, from 6am. Staff were apologetic and unhelpful. The food and drinks are decent but hugely overpriced if you’re not on all inclusive; extortionate!

All round family resort with lots of activities to do. Nice private beach, excellent choice of breakfast, clean pool and above all the staff of melia bali who go above and beyond to make you feel like you are a very very special person

Suggestion- We ( room-1210 - 2 adults and a 9 years kid) opted for a non smoking room and was given one. But i could feel the cigaratte smoke coming into my room from the rooms next to our room even when I closed the rooms tighter. May be the people who want to smoke should have been given a different area which will not cause inconvenience to the rest of rhe guests.

We got the all inclusive package with our room and I highly recommend, otherwise it’s just not worth staying at this resort as the prices of restaurants is too high in comparison to other areas of Bali, and Nusa Dua doesn’t have much around - so you really need to stay + eat in the resort! Our trip was 6 days in total and I loved the resort, very family friendly and the YHI Spa is beautiful. Be sure to pack mozzie spray as they’re pretty bad in the area. We got the lagoon access room and it’s worth the $$.

The housekeeping is really unpredictable and not great, we had room service plates from breakfast and they cleaned the room but left it all there. This happened every day over the 6 day stay but for different items - eg one day they didn’t refresh our towels, the next day it was plates, the other day they didn’t empty the bins etc. Seemed really hit and miss. The resort is very family orientated which is brilliant for a family with young kids however as a couple travelling, we wish we booked at a neighbouring resort that is a bit more relaxing for a couple.

Lovely facilities with beautiful gardens. Food was great too and the staff was simply exceptional. Special thanks to Mrs. Karin at the Level Breakfast for helping me settle my stomach after an unfortunate dinner and Yudi for always being available.

A bit more entertainment in the evening would have been great. Also, as a suggestion, it would be better if members of the adults only section were not allocated next to rooms for families with young kids.
