The breakfast was amazing off the menu. The pool and bar was really nice with good quality drinks and food.

There could be more options in buffet breakfast ie cereal and cover properly so there's no ants. Service a bit slow.

Beautiful villas set in rice rice fields and jungle. Service was fantastic.

Main pool was too noisy with loud music and open to public. These things weren’t consistent with the rest of the property brand. The fact that we had our own pool gave us the peace and relaxation we were looking for.

We loved everything about this hotel, the location is stunning situated in a spectacular valley surrounded by the natural environment. The staff are so helpful and professional and went the extra mile on everything. The rooms are spacious, modern and beautifully designed. The food and drink are really first class both at the Jungle Fish & Pool Area and particularly in the upper deck restaurant. Even though the hotel has boutique feel, it is more than suitable for kids (we have 3) and offers are nice balance for the parents :) Honestly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at 10 out of 10!

Amazing location for peace and quiet, and everything was so beautiful. Breakfast was absolutely top ten. And the staff was wonderful.

It was a bit far from central Ubud, but really no problem since the hotel offer free transfer and pick up. Didn’t like the loud music and DJ in the pool bar, would prefer the tranquility of the jungle.

The hotel is stunning. The staff is very nice, punctual, and accommodating also reachable by Whatsapp which is great, whenever I needed anything I just texted them and they were fast to get me whatever. The staff gave us Chapung (which means dragonfly) bracelets; lovely touch and a nice souvenir to keep. Everything was super clean. The food is good, you must get the floating breakfast. The hotel has 2 restaurants; one for breakfast and one for lunch/dinner, both are great. Pool area was very nice. The views are to die for. We stayed at the luxurious villa (2 bedroom) it was really beautiful and completely private, except that one time a couple accidentally barged in on us haha!

Nothing, everything was top notch. Some recommendations: add locks on the villa’s outside door so no one mistakes the private villas for hotel facilities. Consider adding hot water to the private villa pool as the temp was a bit too cold for us.

Everything was like a dream. You are in the middle of peaceful jungle ! Spectecular valley view , joyful pool, super friendly staff, amazing management (thanks Stephan for making our experience great) and delicious food at great hotel restaurants! Simply heaven! Chapung Sebali has been the best hotel experience I have ever had in my lifetime! I really wish to visit them again! Special thanks to Tana who took us a great Ubud trip ! I love how peaceful and clean the place is. I love the friendly and always ready to assist staff. they made sure they have provided everything we need and asked. they well very helpful too pulling up my surprise birthday bouquet and cake for my mom. I love that they provide quality toiletries. I love their food at their restaurants too, we stayed for 4 days and I ordered almost everything in the menu and there was nothing we didn’t like. we also enjoyed blind pig bar at night, there was good live music and it was a perfect place to just chill and drink. i love how they make sure our villa was maintained cleaned everyday and they provide us sufficient water and fruits.

1. there was a little yellow stain on the toilet bowl. it wasn’t gross but it could have been cleaned better. 2. there were rats running in the ceiling at night and when we woke up we saw an empty pack of chocolate cookies on the floor. this is understandable because the property is in a jungle, we don’t mind. just letting you know because it might be bothering to other guests 3. villa 4 pool is too deep, my child couldn’t swim.
