It was so clean and beautiful and the staff was some of the friendliest I've encountered in Bali. The room was SO CLEAN with a beautiful clean bathtub and lots of hot water. Bonus for bath salts! A beautiful view, beautiful pool, and the food was good. Sometimes I could even hear the elephants from the Zoo close by!

My only disappointment was that I was put in the only room right next to the lobby and it was very noisy. The other rooms were set further back. I could hear everyone coming and going and the cars would idle right next to my wall. If you plan on spending a lot of time in your room, just be sure you're not in room 201.

We spent 4 nights here out of our two weeks stay in Bali. We tried a few different places to stay, but this was definitely our favourite. The view is amazing. If you look out of your room you see the pool and beyond that the beautiful nature. You can see this from the patio, the bed or from the bathtub. The staff was really kind and helpful in everything. You can have some great food at the restaurant and enjoy a beer, soft drinks or a healthy fruit juice. Our room always smelled wonderful when we arrived back from our days, and was always really clean too. If we ever go back to Bali we will be sure to book a few nights here.

Really lovely view out of our window and the silver class organised through the hotel was a fantastic experience - we highly recommend it. The Indonesian style breakfast was delicious and they accommodated our changes to the dishes (i.e., how the eggs were cooked). Bed is very comfortable and staff are polite.

Some of the experiences advertised (bike rental and village walk) were not available and we weren't really given the best explanation about it, or suggestions for an alternative. The room could have done with a bit of a tidy up in terms of the paint on the walls - there are patches of damp that has caused the paint to peel and it's a bit unsightly, especially when you are expecting a more premium room.

The pool with the view of the valley was just amazing, room was super spacious and clean, the food at the restaurant was superb. Most of all the staff were all so lovely, honestly these are the nicest people I have ever met. They are always available to help with getting taxis, give recommendations about what to see. My flight was early in the morning so I had to check out at 6am and they packed breakfast for me to take away. I would definitely recommend this resort in beautiful Ubud. It's a short taxi drive from central Ubud and the main tourist places there and the area where the resort is, is so peaceful, perfect for a relaxing holiday.

The outdoor areas are stunning. We stayed in a private pool villa and the pool and greenery surrounding it were beautiful. Also the main pool is very nice. The staff is all so friendly and the restaurant was great, we ate there multiple times.

The rooms need renovation and are not in line with the pictures. The staff definitely tries their best to keep the things clean but the walls were losing paint and some furnitures were damaged. Some beanbags would be nice in the private villa as there is not really any place to relax by your pool.

The staff are amazing, so nice and caring for every detail. I had a flower bathtub when I arrived, and one floating breakfast, which was amazing. I deftinetly recommend them.the private pool was super nice and good lighting at sunset. The water was good temperature.

The location is not really Ubud but a region close by. Also the food was a bit limited at the restaurant, would recommend the Asian food. But Western food needs improvement as it seems to be frozen pizza. GPS did not work for using a drone.

what I like about the property was the relaxing ambiance, the perfect timing wherein we get to enjoy the pool in the villa by ourselves. the fast response of staff whenever we needor ask something. we would also like to compliment their staff Nanik for going an extra mile in helping us and always smiling. 🙂 and for all the staff thank you for also stepping up your game in providing the best quality service and for making me feel special on my birthday during my stay at your hotel. Incredible service with helpful staff who truly go above and beyond where nothing was too much trouble. For example, we forgot our travel adaptor and they kindly lent us one during our stay. We even borrowed a pair of scissors from reception when we ripped a dress accidentally. The views at the resort was amazing and the pool is nicely maintained, we managed to use it a couple of times during our stay. The rooms and bathrooms were a great size with everything that you need. The breakfast was amazing with great options and flexibility (you can pick from American style, continental or Indonesian) - it is well worth booking your room with breakfast included. I would also like to mention our amazing driver, Pande, who did our airport pick up/drop off as well as almost daily drives to the beach/sightseeing (you can book through reception).

Very minor points which doesn't take away from how great the resort is, I did wish the restaurant had a larger dinner menu. Some items on the menu were unavailable which meant we ended up eating similar things during our 6 day stay. It would be amazing if management could look into a spa/massage facility in the future!

The staff at Yanyan were incredibly kind and caring. Resort was peaceful & spacious and we hardly saw any other guests during our stay. Good breakfast. They organised beautiful decorations on our bed & bath for our anniversary. Finally, in the private villa there is Netflix on the tv which was a pleasant surprise!

There was some construction work during the day next to our villa however staff told us we could tell them any time if we wanted them to stop it which they did. Great customers service which no other Bali resort would even consider!

A beautiful property overlooking the forest. Amazingly peaceful and such friendly and welcoming staff.

It is about 20-30 minutes outside of Ubud centre which isn’t the end of the world as it’s very easy and cheap to get a taxi to and from but just something to keep in mind that you won’t be in the middle of the hustle and bustle at this property. However I think this is why it feels so tranquil and peaceful anyway as it is out of the way!
