Seven Oaks B&B was just amazing.When we arrived we were welcomed in by the very friendly and cheery owner Martina. Our room was very spacious, spotlessly clean with all amenities. The beds , a single and large double ( maybe king size) were extremely comfortable. The bathroom was immaculate, hot shower with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Fresh towels every day. Breakfast was delicious, we chose a full Irish fry accompanied with tea and toast. There were also an arrangement of yoghurts, cereals, fruit and fruit juice to be had as well. This B&B was in a great location. Around 10 minutes from Knock Shrine and also close to main roads leading to the small villages and bigger towns.

Martina is a fantastic host The property is immaculate inside and out The bed was like a cloud it was so comfortable The en-suite was spotless and the shower had great power Loved that there was both shampoo and conditioner as well as shower gel available in a dispenser I slept so well, I found it really quiet despite being on a reasonably busy road Martina will cook you a full Irish breakfast. Lots of others options available. Filtered coffee - this was such a win for me.

Nothing it was perfect

Seven oaks is an outstanding B&B. It is the best place to stay while visiting Co Mayo. From the moment you arrive Martina the host does everything to make your stay perfect. The accommodation is spotless, bedrooms are spacious and so comfortable and breakfast is absolutely delicious. I have stayed in Seven Oaks several times and would rate it higher than any hotel in terms of cleanliness, warm welcome and high quality breakfast. I hope to return again soon. Martina, our hostess, was very easygoing and went out of her way to answer all our questions and meet our requirements. The beds were clean and comfortable and, although we had a very early flight and were to miss breakfast, she left us out enough food to help ourselves to a good continental breakfast before leaving.

It did not affect us as our stay was brief and we had a hire car, the only downside for a longer stay would have been that we would like to be a closer walking distance into town (for us old codgers at least).

Excellent value, very well looked after, cleanliness was immaculate, breakfast splendid, I would this is the best B&B we have stayed in and it scores 10/10 on everything. Without doubt this would be my 1st choice if I went to Knock again

NOTHING, it exceeded my expectations and Martina a fabulous host, I will definitely recommend this B&B to friends and family who intend to go to Knock, it was a short walk to the shops and pubs, where they served very good food.

This is possible the cleanest house I’ve ever been in. Completely spotless, fresh and very comfortable. On one of the coldest nights of the year, it was warm and cosy. Outstanding breakfast and everything was delivered with great charm and warmth.

A tiny point and a personal choice would be for bigger plates for breakfast. A great quality and well-cooked breakfast should have a larger plate to sit on. But, as I say, that’s just personal preference.

There was a large car park close to the front door. Martina greeted us in a friendly manner and showed us to our room which was large with a nice outlook. The road outside was not busy at all. The bed was comfortable and bedding was pristine. We ran out of milk and tea bags so went downstairs and received some more (including a jug of fresh milk). The shower room was a satisfactory size but, once I had mastered how the shower actually worked, I needed to take care when using the shower as the floor surface was slippery. We had a good night's sleep. The tasty breakfast included a variety of items including the traditional fry, cereal, toast, yoghurt and fresh fruit.

I would have liked fresh milk in the room rather than fiddly, tiny plastic pots and perhaps home-made cakes or scones rather than stereotypical, hotel-type biscuits just so it felt like I was in Ireland and not just anywhere in the world (but at least there were biscuits!).

I stayed in the unit on the outside of the house. Side to the house entry. The place was superbly clean, fresh and had no smells or noises. There was a small kitchenette with everything I could possibly need. A microwave and small fridge. Even some cereals and milk in the fridge. The Host was delightful and friendly. The breakfast was cooked perfect and exactly to my liking. I will definitely book at Silver Oaks again.

We had a lovely bedroom, pristine and spacious, had a very comfy bed. Nice and clean toilet, nice, big towels! Our room had a view of the hotel front garden which was beautifully maintained with gorgeous flowers. From our bedroom window, you are overlooking a green field with sheep you can see from afar. Martina was just lovely - helpful, warm and friendly. A perfect host! Breakfast was aplenty. The location is great - just 10 minutes drive to Knock Shrine which opens until 9pm. We wanted to book here again for our return journey to England, but it was fully booked. Until next time, God permitting. Thanks Martina! We enjoyed our stay. M.

Martina is a fabulous host and goes to great lengths to ensure you feel welcome and comfortable. I have stayed here before and loved it then too. Marvellous facilities and well placed for Knock, the airport and the rest of the West of Ireland. Immaculately clean; more like a hotel (as others have commented) than a B&B. I'm vegetarian and it was no problem at all - breakfast delicious. I cannot recommend enough :-)
