Ease of booking in and out. Meals were lovely. We ate in the bar on two lunchtimes and breakfast on the day of departure. We had a couple of issues with a drain smell in our ensuite, which was seen to immediately. The offer of an alternative room was offered immediately. Unfortunately, we were limited in choice as we required disabled accessible bathroom. House keeping team, were brilliant in solving the issue very quickly.

Food prices were a little expensive for us, but the meals we did have were excellent, this included the buffet at the evening function.

Staff were very friendly, happy and always willing to help. Room was good and breakfast and dinner were good.

While the people serving were exceptionally friendly and helpful, we had a number of instances where we had to repeat orders a number of time. On one occasion, an order was taken and the staff member just disappeared. We waited for a pavlova desert on one evening for almost an hour and when it arrived, it had no fruit. I appreciate staff are hard to get these days but these are exceptionally intelligent young people so it shouldn't be a huge stretch to tell them when they get an order, write it down and stick with it until its complete. In relation to the pavlova, it might have been better to say it was off the menu as I suspect the delay was caused by trying to find fruit but who knows :-)

Cleanliness was great and service from staff was great too.

The food wasn't great wasn't made aware they had a restaurant and the bar food order wasn't able to eat it onion rings was full of grease.. turkey dinner no vegetables came with it and the fish well was just one small portion although we didn't get charged for the fish as it was that small!! Made us question would we return again only reason being the food wasn't good enough

Seems to have recently been refurbished, nice pool and jacuzzi, nice bar. Good breakfast.

I asked what looked like a waiting staff member in the reception area what is latest time dinner is served, she said she thinks 9 o clock but check reception. I would have thought she would know or at least go find out as the person in reception was on the phone. Also a bottle of water would have been nice in room.

We love this hotel the most fabulous location for beach walks and wonderful traditional pubs with roaring fires ( Drift Inn next door particularly) the spa was great and we ended up going twice in 5 days. Lovely staff , brilliant breakfast even though everyone was busy as the hotel was full for Halloween.

Just a few tiny points the bath towels were a bit small and the bar food ( apart from the fish and roast beef sandwiches) was average but we will certainly be back

Hotel is beautiful and facilities such as swimming pool/gym and sauna were a brilliant bonus to our stay, staff couldn’t have been more helpful, breakfast was beautiful, the view from our room was stunning and the rooms themselves were so spacious and cosy

We stayed on a Sunday night and was close to Christmas time, we thought the bar may have had a bit more life to it but unfortunately it closed around 10/11 and no entertainment on.

The staff, room and food were all to a very high standard.

There were two televisions in the bar but both showed the same sporting programme. This was on a day the an important GAA match and Wimbleton Mens final were on at the same time but they were unable to tune into each match at the same time. Televisions in rooms do not receive BBC channels whuch could be beneficial.

Lovely family hotel positioned perfectly on the beach.Rooms look like they were recently renovated.My room had a sea view which was great.Bar staff will go an extra mile for you great people.All In all great value for money.

Breakfast was badly organised.Self service,but when I arrived there wasn't food so I had to wait.When food arrived it wasn't cooked.Emagine eating half cooked rashers.Thank you but no thank you.Pool staff let people jump and behave outside of what pool rules are.

Great hotel on the outskirts of the town, with some excellent views.

There was a wedding on the Friday afternoon with celebrations in the evening. There were children running up and down the bedroom corridor, some were playing around the secure entry door to the bedrooms keeping it open so anyone could get through. No staff appeared to be bothered, except for one girl from the restaurant came out to look what all the noise was.

I would like to particularly mention Katie on the front desk and Carol in housekeeping... they were both exceptionally helpful to me (as a solo traveller) and deserve praise for both their professionalism and kindness, I will miss them both. All round it was a memorable stay. Thank you all
