I absolutely adored this B&B. Located down a dirt road, this place is peaceful and beautiful. You can't help fall in love with the little brook running alongside the property and the gorgeous hills rising in the background. Toby, the resident dog, will take you on walks up the road to a hidden path through the woods. He knows his way around and is happy to take you on a tour anytime of the day. Aside from a beautiful location, the room was large, clean and comfortable. The decor was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and had great variety. The staff were fantastic! I loved chatting with Mag in the mornings - she had great suggestions on where to go to see the most beautiful views. My overall stay was relaxing and magical.

Lovely big comfortable rooms. Very clean. Nice to have a kettle and tea etc in the room. Very friendly host.

It is a little more challenging if you’re staying without a vehicle. The hotel locally to dine at is a bit of a walk when it’s outing hard and along a busy road which isn’t nice and not safe if dark. Would be great if there were frozen meals or a freezer/fridge available in a common room that guests could use and could then get a meal for themselves. Taxis are exorbitant in Ireland so it makes calling one to pop out for dinner unviable

Ann and her son were great hosts. Kind and welcoming with great suggestions of local places to go. The B&B was perfectly located with only being 1hr from cities like Cork, Kilkenny, and Waterford. The local town of Cahir is stunning too. Great breakfasts and lovely atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay the rooms and facilities are excellent. The breakfasts were excellent too with a variety of items on offer. Our hosts were very friendly, helpfull and made us feel like we were god's. The location was very quite. Great views across the fields and the horses made an enjoyable view. We would return here to stay when we are in the area.

Very friendly couple. The house is situated well off the main road and out of town, but easy with a car and plenty of space. They were happy to have my cockapoo to stay, who made friends with their lovely big outside dog!

TV could’ve been bigger for the generous room size! Maybe a sitting area on lawn would be ideal for resting!

The breakfast was very good and the location was centrally located near places we wanted to see. The room was good sized and had a private bathroom which is very nice.

Everything was good, the only negative was the road leading to the B+B which was rough, but that is not under their control.

A good location with a super comfy bed and a nice vegan breakfast. A good place to stay as outside of the noise of the town but only a short drive to town. Owners, staff and Toby the dog were most welcoming. I can highly recommend this place.

All was good really. Maybe the offer of evening food may be an idea as otherwise it is a drive to town but otherwise all was good.

I have trouble sleeping, i slept so well, staying here was quiet, tranquil and away from noisy traffic. Lovely country walks and even the resident dog came with us and even showed us different walks, beautiful views, local to amenities. Megs was so informative of places to visit, and made our stay truly amazing, we had a few giggles.

If I had to say anything the lane up to the property was rather poor, in need of some attention.

Lovely place near the town and very relaxing in the countryside. The house was tidy with useful furniture and views to the fields, very comfortable. The breakfast had many options to choose as scramble eggs, fried eggs, porridge, etc. fresh coffee and milk. The care was unimprovable by the personal.

Deerbrook House is in a beautiful, quiet location outside of Cahir. We received a warm welcome from Maurice on arrival. Our request for a later check-out was facilitated without question. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room spotlessly clean. The breakfast was excellent - freshly cooked to order. Anne was a kind and accommodating host. We had a great stay. Thank you!
