Thank you Michaela & Sinead on reception and Zoe, Tamara & Sophia in Breakfast. All of you were very kind, helpful and exceptionally professional in your attitude. I was very Impressed and I certainly hope the General Mgr. fully realises how valuable you are to the hotel. See you next time. x Liam

Location is excellent and if fortunate to get river view even better. Food was excellent both bar food (fish and chips to die for), breakfast and 3 course option all at reasonable prices. However, the best thing was the staff, who were all very helpful and polite. Nothing was too much trouble. Special mention to Marie in Shambles bar who really looked after us each night.

Rooms a little dated now and overall the Hotel was very hot. First time used a key to enter a room in years. Would also help if key fob was a little smaller.

It was a convenient location. The staff at check-in were very helpful and accommodating .The breakfast was substantial and Tasty. They serviced my room daily. Overall the staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. They accommodated my every request, even helping me communicate with my next hotel. I ate most of my meals in the hotel restaurant, good food and helpful staff.

No safe in my room. The room was a little crowded. The town of Ballina had many closed shops and restaurants.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, and accommodating. The food was excellent, there was good choice - for breakfast and for dinner -and it was well presented. In fact, we had dinner there the three nights we stayed, we didn’t feel tempted to try anywhere else. The bathroom ( which seems to have been refurbished) was very modern and comfortable.

Housekeeping was poor. The bedroom was not cleaned for the three nights we stayed, the bedcovers were just pulled up on the beds, which is less thorough than I would have expected, and there was some rubbish from previous guests under the desk. The room ( maybe it’s due for refurbishment?) was dull and old-fashioned, but it was comfortable.

This trip was booked by me on behalf of a work colleague for a last minute business trip. I booked Ballina Manor Hotel based on location to our client and facilities, ratings. He was not disappointed Ciara was very helpful with my pre check in questions and tried to accommodate for a halal diet. Whilst that was not possible in the end, my colleague informed me that their options vegetarian wise for breakfast and also when he dined their during the stay were very good. Staff were very polite and friendly overall in their approach. Rooms very clean too. Would he and another colleague who booked separately stay again...yes So Ballina Manor Hotel gets my full stars

Issues with the shower functioning fully , but was unsure if just a small intermittent fault .

The salmon festival was exceptional a credit to the people of ballina. The food at the hotel was faboulos, the upstairs bar closed very early, pity as the down stairs bar is a bit claustrophobic. The staff were as always lovely.

The room was quite expensive but the were a lot of old cobwebs on the ceiling and the mattress was very lumpy. Art work on the wall had damage and the hairdryer, I nearly had to ly on the table the flex was so short.

We stayed at the Manor House Hotel for 3 days. As always it was a pleasure to stay here. From the management and staff well all I can say is they are amazing, nothing is too much trouble for them to do to keep their guests happy. We have been staying here on and off for about 18 years. From being the Ridgepool to the now Manor House Hotel. We will be back hopefully soon. We would recommend highly to family, friends or just anyone who wants a wonderful weekend away. Plenty of places to shop, eat and drink around the hotel.

There was nothing we did not like

Hotel was lovely all the staff were very friendly, we had two nights and really found the hotel comfortable.. we stay in Ballina every month, but this was the first time we tried this hotel.. major plus for us, the breakfast is cooked fresh when you order.. I can’t stand a stale breakfast that’s cooked prior and kept warm so well done for this .. will stay here again.

Unfortunately our room was on the street and not the river side so we had a lot of noise from traffic.

The hotel was central to town. Lovely breakfast, friendly staff. Room on 3rd floor + view out onto the river. Within few mins we were able to walk to various local places - shops, bars, the park. Hotel had underground carpark + limited spaces available. About 5 mins walk from hotel there is a lovely walk bridge with few seats were people can relax, go for nice walks etc. Salmon festival was on during weekend we were here + plenty of fishermen on local river. Plenty of places to drive to for a day trip within 30 - 45 mins. Weather was nice sunny.

When the bathroom light was switched on the fan came on. Was no option to just have fan on by itself.

Great location, right in the centre of town close to bars & shops. Hotel is right beside the river Moy & we had a room overlooking the river. Good size room with large comfortable bed, very clean & has everything you need. Food was really good quality & breakfast room & restaurant are beautifully decorated. Lovely big sofas & chairs located throughout if you want to sit & relax. Staff were all very welcoming, helpful & polite. Would definitely stay again.

The bar is quite small & adjoins the restaurant. There's an underground car park which services both the hotel & nearby apartments so there's only about a dozen spaces allocated for hotel residents. There are a few parking spaces in the street outside the hotel but you have to pay.
