The room and location were excellent, as was service from the front desk and wifi.

The only available parking was in the street outside, which although reasonably priced offered few spaces and inconveniently there is a bus stop outside the hotel front door where quite a few buses stop. We avoided the hotel breakfast, preferring the Blueberry tearoom across the street. The food for dinner in the restaurant was variable (according to which chief chef was on duty), although the service was very good. Unfortunately, no drinking water was provided in the room. Although the room was clean, the housekeeping schedule is rather hit and miss and inconveniently usually comes late in the afternoon after guests have returned from site seeing.

Amazing location. Right in the heart of the town. The bar and restaurant were both lovely places to eat and drink. The bar staff were very attentive and friendly. The live music in the bar really made the evening special.

The bed was very uncomfortable. With a worn out mattress and hard pillows. Never made for a comfy sleep. The kettle had to be boiled on the floor as the plug sockets were out of reach of any surface. So with a toddler. Making tea and coffee was tricky. The breakfast wasn’t really great considering it was £15 each. And a few of the server staff at breakfast seemed a little aloof.

The rooms where clean, nicely furnished with a modern bathroom! The bed was very comfortable and a good night sleep is almost guaranteed. The restaurant downstairs is the best in town, and is a must if visiting for one night. The staff where friendly and very helpful… and made me feel right at home. Had Breakfast on the final morning and was just fabulous… £15 might be on the pricey side, but it was next level standard!

work was going on the second floor (where I was staying) so dust was a bit of an issue and work men roaming the corridor when I was heading out for the day… that and seeing a room with no door, filled with building supplies when I left the lift was not great look, but I know that was only temporary…

Warm comfortable room & newly finished bathroom with waterfall shower head option. I was looking forward to a long hot soak in a bath which our room did not have. The staff were more than accommodating by offered a viewing of another unoccupied room in the hope it had a bath but it too had been refurbished and our room was warmer & cosier. Despite it being to the back of the property overlooking the extractor fans it was away from the street noise for the Easter Bank holiday weekend and very relaxing.

I was looking forward to soaking in a hot bath but our room was newly renovated and the bath removed.

I booked the property for my husband’s 60th birthday and my son’s 21st. We were staying in Donegal for the night as a treat. The hotel went above and beyond.. we had one room with a lovely view of the river.. the other room was looking out towards the town square. We also received a lovely bottle of bubbly in our room and my son had a beautiful dessert delivered to his room. Many thanks for these lovely surprises. It made their birthday’s that but more special 😀

All was perfect

Loved the location of this hotel, center of town, very walkable to everything in town!!! very clean, rooms nicely done.

I was not impressed with the fact that they had run out of croissants at breakfast and when asked for more, I was told, no they are all gone, we don't refill!!! I paid 15 euro's and couldn't get what I wanted!! and there was still another hour of breakfast left!! and the fruit choice was nom choice, one and done!!

Good location, great food and service. Very friendly staff

Part of the hotel is getting a revamp for the rooms at the back of the hotel. The noise starts at 9 and finishes at 4.30 - thankfully itt didn't bother us too much as we we didn't check in till 4 and we were up in the morning at 8.30 for breakfast The noise is isolated in that area and cannot be heard in the main parts of the hotel

The staff were very nice. The live entertainment was varied and exceptional. The room was clean. The location was excellent with everything in one area within walking distance

The smoking area was not nice or inviting. The room was passable but a bit old fashioned and dated compared to the rest of the hotel. The hotel car park was full and we had to cart luggage a long way from another car park which was not good.

Very central (although most things are as Donegal town is not that big!), easy to park as there is cheap parking in the car park by the quay - 30 cents an hour. It is a mite old fashioned in these times of Premier Inn/Travelodge etc. but the staff are lovely, rooms clean and the bed I had one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in . I didn’t eat there but the bar is great and had some quality live music the night I was there - the bar staff were also great and fun. Booked to stay again next week ...

Nothing - had a great night.
