Jacqui was superb ! I was facilitated with a very early morning “ grab and go “ breakfast which was delicious! I really appreciated this offer as it made my day so much easier . The welcome from her daughter was welcoming and I was enabled to check in mid afternoon. The room was fantastic! Great ambiance and spacious as well as being beautifully decorated in period fashion in keeping with the history of the house character. Spotlessly clean . The beautiful brass bed stead was fitted with a soft comfy mattress ( my preferred option is much firmer but this was fine for the night ) Wooden shutters on the windows as well as heavy curtains ensured a great night without noise or light disturbance. All in all just superb!!

Very nice house. Delicious breakfast. The house isn't in the center of Dublin, byt you can reach the center by train. The house is near to the station. Very quiet place. The room was comfortable, there was tea and coffee. In the bathroom a set of towels and a nice body wash set. There's a delicious pizzeria on the way to the station. We really liked it. The owners are nice people. I wish prosperity to their business.

The temperature of the hot water dropped rapidly, and by the third person the water was cold. Notice the kettle inside. But the memories are still very positive and I don't regret my choice.

The breakfast - OMG! Where do I begin? Full Irish breakfast, made to order and the table was filled with breakfast breads/scones, yogurt parfaits, fruit, cheeses and meats, and toast. So good and couldn't resist doing it all again the next day. We pre-arranged to check in early as our flight arrived early. We had a small glitch with this but it was quickly resolved and we all crashed into such comfortable beds and slept well. The room was good sized. There were 3 of us and my teenage daughter enjoyed her twin bed (not a pull out couch) so everyone was comfortable. The bathroom while small had everything one needed including nice shampoo, conditioner, shower gel. It was like being in a higher end hotel. There are a few restaurants and pubs nearby that we enjoyed. We even picked in the park down by the seafront. Couldn't ask for a better location for the Booterstown Dart Station into central Dublin about 15 min. We took an Airbus coach from the airport and were dropped a 5 minute walk from the place. Just perfect. We couldn't have had a better start to our Ireland trip. We felt as if we were family. Also, pre-arrival, the owners were very responsive to inquiries.

Jacquie and her son, Ethan, were extremely welcoming and friendly! Jacquie went out of her way to do the extra touches! She had Bailey shots in our rooms for us when we arrived along with mint cookies, water by the beds, etc. she gave us some recommendations of where to go and things to do. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very clean! The house is absolutely gorgeous and she has a beautiful garden outside. The location was awesome! The tram system is directly across the road and you can park your car there for for your stay for a very small fee. The tram takes you directly to Dublin City center. The Airbnb is in a very safe area. We had to miss breakfast the next morning because we had to get an early start on site seeing and heading to the other side of the island so Jacquie made us a “to go breakfast” and had it waiting on us on the table next to the front door when we left the next morning. I cannot say enough good things about Blackrock B&B!! Our stay was amazing!

I loved the interior of the house it was so beautiful & the garden made a great view whilst having breakfast. The host was charming & was so good making me an early breakfast which was so nice, she also booked a taxi for me to get to the Dublin horse show. I also liked the proximity of the sea access by a nice community park.

Was hard to find once the taxi pulled into Booterstown Ave. As there was no B&B sign & the house was kinda hidden by a very high hedge, I rang the host & she came put to meet me.

The question is... what didn't we like? I wish I knew about this B&B sooner as I would've stayed here longer. This was a quintessential stay! The most charming victorian brownstone on a residential street. Absolutely gorgeous inside! We walked up to a great restaurant (4 min walk) - Gleesons. A really great neighborhood - felt very safe. Two glasses of Baileys as our 'welcome'. Hosts were so helpful and friendly. We will go back in a heartbeat. The breakfast - I can't even begin to explain as she had everything covered and then was willing to cook us breakfast. This was the end of our trip and couldn't accomodate all the food and drink.

We stayed here since we were flying out of Dublin. The drive to and from was easy. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but we found a spot on the street and this worked out just fine. It was recommended we take the train into Dublin, but we decided to take a taxi. The cost was 40Euro - one way but we did have a nice driver and he pointed out many things on our way into the city. We just did not feel good about taking a train at night as there are many stories about tourist safety. I think we made the right decision, but there is a cost that goes with it.

The warm welcome, friendly conversation, comfortable room, fabulous home cooked breakfast, hot coffee. I cannot praise the breakfast and peaceful sleep enough. The table was spead with delicious, healthy food and the hosts were very generous. The home itself is beautiful and my bedroom was cozy and peaceful. I could have stayed a week !

I liked everything. Truly and excellent B&B with a personal touch which is so rare these days. I am a solo traveller often, and I appreciated this.

Jacquie and Jerry were absolutely wonderful hosts. Jacquie’s breakfasts are truly spectacular, served on the ground floor of their home in a beautifully decorated and welcoming space. I especially recommend the freshly made Irish breakfast. The room was comfortable, and we had a really positive stay. Jerry greeted us with a smile and some friendly conversation, even when we arrived late for the check-in. Highly recommended!

Exceptionally well appointed room, and breakfast was comprehensive. I was pleased to find that the parking was literally a 2 minute walk as we had bags and a reasonable price with overground to the city centre. Be aware that there were no external indication this was the guest house (that I saw). There was complimentary stuff and check-in / out was painless.

The bed was a bit bouncy / high but otherwise ok. Stairs to all the rooms. No other negatives come to mind. Dublin accommodation is expensive this was at the cheaper end but we weren't let down - good value

The B&B was beautiful, in a wonderful location, super clean, and the breakfast was amazing. As in, really amazing.

As a business traveller, I really missed not having a desk or similar. Also the plugs were difficult to get to. That said, if I was a recreational traveller it would have been the perfect B&B. Also I tried to contact the B&B about the booking by email, and never got an answer.
