The man on reception was a assistant manager I think his name tag said andrea. One of the most accommodating receptionist I ever met, very polite and professional I got a warm welcoming smile everytime I came back in from having a fag. It just made me feel like he was making himself very approachable for any issues or questions.
One of my door keys kept on call locking the lift I don't know if it was me or there is a primary card for going outside the room and the other as a lighting card, I am a smoker but I think if you put a little hut or shelter up the side it wouldn't make it look as bad for non smokers coming up to stay. I just don't think it looks like the professionalism a hotel is trying to achieve. I thought the breakfast was 6-10.30 but when I got there I was told 7-10 but I stayed up there incase it was frosty because my mum had to go to Vincents hospital early and being so far away I didn't want to chance the frost

Bed clothes, room and general hotel were lovely. The food was tasty
I had dinner when I arrived and although the food was well presented and tasty, it was served with cold mashed potato. When I advised the staff on this they did take it away and sort it. Unfortunately the breakfast the following morning from the buffet was freezing. I highlighted this to the person I felt was in charge and she was very apologetic. It was a shame as everything is lovely. I think you could also consider closing sections as the restaurant is very large a d there were not enough staff present to cover such a large area.

Comfy room, nice variety of foods available for breakfast. In the evening we ordered some pizza and chips from the restaurant which were delivered to our room, which was nice.
Hadn’t realised there was an extra toll to pay to drive down to that area of Dublin.

The staff were so helpful and friendly. Mum needed a taxi for a medical appointment and when we returned they were so lovely and said they hope everything went well and if we need anything just to ask. It's small things like that I consider to be some of the most important attributes in staff. The rooms were spotless, we got a beautiful view of dublin bay, we could have sat at the window all day watching the world go by. Beds were so comfy, room spotlessly clean, facilities were perfect. The food was so good. Great breakfast spread and evening menu. I could keep going it was such a nice stay. There is a garage literally next door they have M&S treats and food. So convenient.

I recently stayed at the Maldron Hotel for a night, and it was a wonderful experience. The room we stayed in had a stunning sea view, which created the perfect setting for a relaxing and memorable evening. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make my boyfriend's birthday truly special. They arranged a surprise as requested, and the heartfelt card from the team added a genuinely personal touch that we both deeply appreciated. It was clear that they put thought and care into ensuring everything was perfect for the occasion. The room itself was immaculate, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the amenities we needed. The overall service was outstanding, and the thoughtful gestures made our stay unforgettable.
The only minor issue we encountered during our stay was the insufficient supply of toiletries. There wasn’t enough body wash for both of us, and the body lotion provided was nearly finished upon our arrival. While this didn’t detract significantly from our overall experience, it would have been helpful to have these items fully stocked.

Place was clean and nice, breakfast very good as well (don't order breakfast through booking though, it's much cheaper at the reception), overally I liked it.
Two problems are stopping me from recommending this place unconditionally: 1. Wi-Fi was terrible. Not only it was several times slower than 5G on my phone, but couple of times an hour it was freezing for a minute without any reason. Had some important meetings, had to rely on my phone hot-spot for these. 2. Ventilation (not AC which was off) was permanently producing an annoying hissing sound especially noticeable at night. Could be a problem of my specific room since it was on the top floor perhaps close to the machinery. Had to sleep with the window open to just drown this hiss in the outside noise.

Parking facilities on site were the main reason I booked and access to the hotel from these was convenient. Room was a good size and I ordered room service which was lovely, and was delivered very quickly. Breakfast in the morning was good, a decent selection available and all reasonable quality.
Shower wasn't entirely clean, although the rest of the room and bathroom were spotless. The pillows on the bed were absolutely awful, I found the spare pillows in the wardrobe after multiple attempts to sleep on the ones supplied on the bed and those were marginally better but still far too soft.

Close to UCD, that I easily reached by walking. There were some very good biscuits that, together with the tea/coffee available in the room, were more than enough for one nice breakfast (not included in my reservation)
The zone is very elegant but does not seem very lively and properly equipped with services: the closest CENTRA supermarket had almost nothing (maybe my fault that did not carefully look for supermarkets around); when I arrived I had no big towels in my room, just two small ones; I had problems with the sink that did not drain water (again, maybe I simply did not understand how to make it work). The room was large, but since there were three beds there, there was not much space.

The hotel was not too far from the nearest DART station (about 7 minutes walk). I was very happy that my room was made available to me well before the check-in time after my very long flights to Dublin. Thank you very much for the hospitality. The restaurant on the ground floor was open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The front staff recommended chicken wrap. I used in-room dining to order tuna wrap - the serve may be small but it was quite filling with a pt of Guiness. It was delicious - even the salad was good with balsamic vinegar dressing.
Although the hotel was well serviced by public transport, there was no suitable bus to take for me to go to UCD. I liked walking to there though.
